Fried Chicken & double baked potato
    Cassie J.

We wanted fried chicken and tried this place for the first time and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! If you're going on a Friday or Saturday, make sure you make a reservation though! The Mac and cheese wedges were the triangle Mac and cheese bites. Their ranch was bomb! The fried chicken was definitely a must, and did try the double baked potato. My husband did get the coconut shrimp which he said he would have gotten a whole basket of just that. But definitely save room for dessert because OMG amazing!!! We got both the pineapple cheesecake and the Reese's pie both

    Best poorboy around!

Love, love everything we've ever had at Cookies. It's definitely an older crowd, and a crowd that knows good food. The poorboys are the best around. I add cheese and onions to mine, and they don't charge as much as other places for extras. Service is always great.

    This mix is delicious!

Do you miss going to Grandma's house for dinner? Look no further. The fried chicken is the real star. Probably better than your grandmas, but we won't tell! We absolutely loved the 70's decor and old school vibe. Also, the service was AMAZING. Also, our friends gave us a bottle of Cookies Bloody Mary Mix for Christmas- it is AMAZING- RUN DONT WALK AND GET A BOTTLE-the secret it out!

Great old style Dinning , with alot of old pictures and Minooka town photos

Cookies is a Great family style restaurant, with Awesome food and relaxing atmosphere. They have many types of foods to choose from. Poor boys are great. All the fish and seafood is always fresh, I prefer the walleye ! And the servers are all nice and friendly ! I would say , Cookies restaurant is a Great Family owned staple of Minooka , that has been around for years and will continue with tasty food and don't forget about the homemade soups

Food was good. Got a very small salad with it. Small condiments containers ( sour cream & tartar sauce) no butter for potato.

Old Town classics grilled to perfection. It's the Merichka's of Minooka, just smaller.

This Friday the club was completely empty, even after 11p. The location for the club is great because it's inside Hollywood Casino Joliet, the drinks are well made, and well priced, and the club is very swanky and comfortable. The problem is that nobody knows it's there. Hollywood Casion is pretty much in the middle of nowhere so unless you like to gamble your not likely to have seen the advertisements for Reve. Furthermore, Hollywood Casino Joliet tends to attract a much older crowd than the usual clubbing crowd. I think Hollywood Casino would have been better off putting the club in smaller, but much more urban Aurora location, but alas they did not. I'd really like to see Reve succeed so I hope that Hollywood Casino does a better job marketing it in the future, but It's not worth the 25 mile trip out there yet. Especially since there are several other casinos much closer to home.

Killer sound system and lighting is awesome they have cabanas you can rent for VIP. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because there wasn't a lot of people there. I spoke to the manager he was a great guy and told me that they're booking some real popular DJ's so it should pick up. this place is very clean and classy inside. We will most definitely return with our friends more people should give this place a chance. Go there and see how absolutely awesome it is inside youll love it. it's kind of like a hidden gem you gotta walk past all the old people playing slots at the casino and then you walk into this kick ass club. II honestly think people don't know it's there because if they did it would be packed.

It's hard to define The Northcott Liquorette. It's a bar but it's not a traditional American bar…read morewith TVs and comfort snack foods. It's not a bar with bad lighting and music. It's not a restaurant because you wouldn't just come here for the food although the food is good. It's close to a lounge I would say but again not exactly a lounge either. In any case it's a great place to hang out with a friend or friends or a date . The cocktails are made well and well thought out. They are not your traditional cocktails you find everywhere and I love an original place with unique ideas. Make a reservation, be on time, order a dish and a few drinks and enjoy yourself.

We were so excited to check out Northcott Liquorette. The decor and atmosphere were swanky and fun,…read morebut it did not really give 'speakeasy' vibes. There was no fun entrance or password; we waited at the bottom of the stairs, never got greeted, and walked up. We got seated right away and ended up asking to move seats because we were seated in the middle of a large/loud party. Our new seats were good; we did have to share a table with another couple. Our server was the best part; his name was Z. He did, however, have to cover the entire room, which seemed impossible for one person. The service did slow down mid-experience, and then we were given the option to move or leave to accommodate their next reservation, which was odd. We had some appetizers, which were okay, but we had no plates or napkins, so it was a bit messy to eat. The dirty chips were a highlight. The drinks were alright, but for being the 'main event' I thought they would offer more options for people who enjoy sweet drinks. They did not have any. The sweetest option was a pineapple option that had a thick foam on it. I took one sip and gave it to my husband. He did enjoy the fun Absinthe Foundatian; however, they only had one, so there was a lot of waiting for many tables as it was passed around. The best part was our server, Z, surprised us with donuts for my husband's birthday. They were very yummy! Overall, it was a super cute place, but definitely a one-time only visit for us.
