We wanted fried chicken and tried this place for the first time and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! If you're going on a Friday or Saturday, make sure you make a reservation though! The Mac and cheese wedges were the triangle Mac and cheese bites. Their ranch was bomb! The fried chicken was definitely a must, and did try the double baked potato. Love, love everything we've ever had at Cookies. It's definitely an older crowd, and a crowd that knows good food. The poorboys are the best around. I add cheese and onions to mine, and they don't charge as much as other places for extras. Service is always great. read more

I Had Cookies cater a family gathering today. The food was delivered right on time, piping hot and delicious. Just one example of quality, the veggie tray had the freshest vegetables I've ever tasted. But that was only the start. The quality of everything exceeded my expectations and my guests expressed genuine appreciation as well. I needed to get past how out dated this restaurant is. Once I put that behind me, I've enjoyed the food on several occasions. Their rib eye sandwich with fresh horseradish never disappoints! The servers are always pleasant and we are checked on often. Good food and good people! read more

Great gem in gods country! The soup was bland. However, the deep fried perch and hoppy legs aka frog legs were fantastic! A true throwback in time decor wise. Service was quick. Overall, didn't disappoint my expectations. read more

A wonderful place with happy staff the provides the perfect, "Wisconsin Supper Club," experience. Great selection of fish, chicken, meats, appetizers and desserts. My family, loved ones and neighbors frequently stop in for dinner and to see a friend face. We've been several times. The atmosphere is "Wisconsin Supper Club" and the food is delicious. It's hit or miss with the waitresses and sometimes they're slow on the drink refills but I feel like every business has been struggling for decent employees lately. This was the place to go in Minooka. We had a reservation, placed us at a table by the bathroom. Their bloody Mary's used to be the best, rim wasn't salted, just straight Clamato juice and a lot of vodka, terrible. Food wasn't the best as well, I got a filet, over cooked at medium. My husband ordered spaghetti as a side, the sauce was tinted water. It's sad to see a business decline, we will not be going back. read more

Cookie's restaurant is one of my favorites the Minooka area. Everything from their fried chicken to burgers are great! The service in the restaurant pre-COVID was really great. The take-out service now is always fresh and ready on time. Only negative...they must have accidentally tossed in sour cream for our bake potatoes twice. 6 Togo cups! Lol. Moved to the area over 10 years ago and Cookies is our go to restaurant... For dinner they have a nice sit down formal dining area and for a quick bite you are able to sit in the bar where they have high top tables set up. Staff is always fast and friendly. The bread service included saltine crackers and sesame bread sticks in their nice little wrappers.
