Im actually not from Morris but came here for a private event in the back room. The room is amazing and has a lot privacy and even had a kid area. They also have a bar in the restaurant. We had buffet style food be side of the private event and let me just say I am shocked how good the chicken was! Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had! Definitely a serious locals hangout, but the locals are friendly! The waitstaff are kind and attentive, they work hard to cover a lot of tables and do it well. Update. I wanted to try this place again to see if the service I received the first time was just an off night for them. I'm sorry to say that it was the same the next time actually a little worse. The food is top-notch the beer is very good but the service is very very poor. It really appears that the bartenders slash wait staff try their hardest but are somewhat understaffed. They are trying to fulfill their bartender duties as well as waiting on tables on the other side of the bar. Which I know is more managements fault than a bartender fault. I really wanted to like this place but unless there staffing changes I'm not sure how I could recommend it. read more

Expected to get a chicken sandwich that substituted vegetables for chicken on a bun. Ended up with sautéed vegetables in a grilled cheese and it was wonderful. Should be as common on menus as grilled ham and cheese. Included a basic salad that was good. Atmosphere is sport bar with tvs. Very busy with regulars, so must be good. Seating could be more comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Plenty of creative menu items (deep fried Twinkie) and many sounded very tasty. Limited street parking may require a little walking, especially on weekends when big outdoor area is packed with live music. Reasonably priced. read more

This is horrible in the age of covid. And sometimes on a Saturday afternoon when nothing else is going on, I play a song using touch tunes on their juke box and can hardly hear it. I gave this 1 star because out of 2 days in a row of coming here I had to send 4 of 4 steak sandwiches back for being overcooked. Out of things off the food and beer menu. Today they took my well done filet mignon sandwich back and were supposed to have it remade to medium rare. It came out better however it was a ribeye instead of a filet. I was lied straight to my face that it was a filet they "butterflied" to cook faster. I definitely know the difference. Our server was horrible both days. Having to ask repeatedly for things IF she ever came back. Acting as if we were a bother to her. Horrible attitude. We went back the 2nd day because everyone has bad days and the food was good the 1st day. NEVER again. It's ashame because it could be a good little place to enjoy however the service was absolutely horrible!! Both days had to go in and get our check. Absolutely ridiculous.
