Maybe it's the friendly bar staff, the clean and trouble free atmosphere or that it's a place you can go and feel welcomed by everyone who is in there. After being in the old shuttered Blue Room, the building was purchased and revamped into a sports bar atmosphere. It has been purchased and sold a couple of times over the past few years, but each owner has kept the same tradition of having a good quality bar. I generally have patronized Cheapseats for the after work happy hour crowd. There is just something about sitting around after grinding the stone all day, shotting the bull, watching ESPN on the tv's throughout the bar and rocking out to classic rock and country on the jukebox. Throw in a quick appetizer and it's a good evening. The bar also has numerous arcade machines, pool table, and dart machine. If your not into the "bar atmosphere," Cheapseats also has a spacious dining area with a full regular menu, salad bar, and nightly dinner specials as well. The key to their success has to be Debbie, she is always outgoing, friendly and makes sure to know her customers. If you are ever passing through my little off the beaten path hometown, be sure to stop in if you are looking for a great little watering hole.

Happened in on this wonderful "hometown " sports bar filled with local families and their kids. Ambiance is like the proverbial corner bar that has been updated with a wall of video monitors. The locals you could tell simply loved it. We sat at the bar and was helped by a very sweet and helpful waitress that not only shared her advice on the menu but had great information about the location of the local library and local hotels. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and a 6 wing bone in special with fries and BBQ sauce. My son ordered the boneless hot bacon wing special with fries. Both wings dishes were accompanied with carrots and celery along with house made ranch dressing. ( excellent dressing by the way.) My salad came with a deliciously creamy house made blue cheese dressing but lacked tomatoes. For that deficiency I score it a four. If you are in the area, this is a must try establishment.

Found out about this local brewery in Chenoa. It happens to be just one part of a larger operation…read more OB's Cervezaria is one of this building's vendors. Has kind of limited hours. This makes sense because they only brew a few of their own beers and keep it simple. Cool place that's fun for the entire family. It's got something to please everyone it seems. The worst thing is the limited hours though. Brewery is only open in the evenings mostly and other times is often closed. This also isn't much of a brewery as you pour everything yourself. It's one of those places that gives you a card. Then you insert it into the slots to get the beers pouring. It's about 50 cents or so an ounce. The only one from this brewery was the Fresh Hope, which is a blonde ale that's crisp and smooth. Food is lacking. There's another vendor that has pizza. Good place as far as around here for entertainment. It's one of the vendors and is one of the best places around for groups and parties. The brewery is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Basically it's a neighborhood bar. It's close to a lot of things in the so called downtown. The bar is located along some kind of back street with a sketchy looking parking lot. Inside it's not much better. The good thing is they have tons of beers, including a few that are on tap. It's about $4 for a basic cocktail. We got some and these were pretty watery. Food is nonexistent except for bags of chips for about $1 or so. They also apparently have frozen pizzas, but last time they were out of these. Has a few TVs for watching games. The bar is pretty close to houses so there's been lots of noise complaints of patrons. For a bar in a small town like this, it's pretty okay compared to others around it.
