Very good vibe and coffee beans the baristas are very knowledgable and they will help you out!

We started off the morning with some tea and cappuccino. There is plenty of parking available in the lot. You need to go through the doors of the building to get to the coffee shop through another door. It was a very quiet morning with plenty of seating inside, Service was great and friendly. Drinks were good, too. read more

I ordered the French toast latte after hearing about it on social media and it absolutely lives up to the hype! Enter the building, follow the signs down the hallway, and you'll find yourself in a spacious coffee shop perfect for meet ups, working, studying, etc. The skeletons are a fun touch but most importantly the coffee is fantastic. read more

It's a vibe. Big windows, skulls, and quality coffee. This isn't your spot if you're looking for tons of syrups and cold foam. I'm sure they could do a cold foam, but a classic iced coffee, hot latte or FRENCH TOAST latte is kind of their thing. read more

Absolutely love this place!! It's so tricky to find good, craft coffee and this is the place!! They have a really cozy inside with tables and chairs set up with the wonderful sounds of coffee grinding in the background. The servers are also quite friendly and always up for a good recommendation. They also seem to know lots of people who come in which makes for a community feel. I absolutely love this place and recommend it if you need some good coffee!! read more

Quiet little place, great ambiance with seating for one or many! I tried the "what's good here" it was definitely amazing and will definitely be coming back again. read more

One of my new favorite coffee shops. I came across it while heading back home through Plainfield earlier this month. It's located inside of a warehouse space that houses a couple of different businesses including the Ten Drops roastery but the shop itself is a big space all its own and they have done a nice job giving it a good vibe. I ordered an iced version of one of their signature drinks, the Spice latte and it was one of the best tasting coffee drinks I've had in the area. It had great tasting espresso with a perfect balance of milk and flavoring. The barista was very friendly and the fact that she had the place quietly jamming to Aerodynamic when I walked in was a big plus. I took a seat while waiting for my drink and was kind of bummed I couldn't stick around to take a load off and enjoy it while the sun poured in from all of the big windows but it was okay because I just looked more forward to coming back soon. read more

Actually I would give it 4.5 stars and I'll tell you why. The coffee is fantastic yes it's like craft coffee. I ordered the French toast, it's been a signature of theirs for years, and it was fabulous! I had a nice discussion with the hostess about coffee, and she mentioned about other shops and other places that she had tried that that she'd liked and we had a little discussion about a place west of here in another town that I do frequent. All this, while I was waiting for mine to come up and she was a great lady. Coffee was good, service was good, there's enough space in there seating wise,,even if it gets busy in there. Place is a little off the beaten path, but you can always find a parking spot I've been coming in this area for years due to Werk Force brewing. Always wanted to try Ten drops but never got around to it. Now here's why I subtract for a half star. They have a third-party company coming in between Wednesday and Sunday to provide pastries from nine until I think whenever the pastries are gone. That's great, except I was there on a Wednesday before 9 AM and what about Monday and Tuesday?? But I can live without that. So that is why I gave five stars cause the place is that good , just disappointed about the food situation. Other than that they are a local joint . they source their coffee from multiple places including outside of USA, and that's fine there's great coffee elsewhere in the world. and I have no other complaints about them. Yes, do patronize them! read more

Very spacious inside and pretty chill barista. Got the 'what's good here' half sweetness it had a good taste but still a bit too sweet overall not bad just be cautious of sweetness. read more

So much better than any chain coffee shop at a much better price too. My fav by far the Conquistador! So badly wished I lived closer to this place to have it be part of my "routine". You can also buy coffee to brew at home and it is ethically sourced. The vibe is very chill. Always great service too. read more

This was a stop on my way through town. I will be back! You know its going to be good when you see skulls everywhere and no store bought syrups in sight. I got their version of a Mocha. Macadamia nut milk, coconut sugar syrup, AND local dairy? Say less. Also still $5.50 for a latte. That's a steal! read more

Review Visit: November 26th, 2018 Full disclaimer: This place does not have alcohol and you get more than 10 drops in your caffeinated beverage. My sister and I set out on a treacherous journey to Chicago for a family event after an overnight storm dropped some ice and snow. Along the way, we stopped to get some coffee and to also spend a few minutes out of the car. We picked Ten Drops as it was close to Chicago and just far enough away to avoid the god awful traffic that comes with it. Ten Drops is located in a building that shares space with other businesses. You walk through the front door, walk down a hallway and take a right and then go through the doors at the end. Easy enough to navigate. Parking was ample on the cold and snowy day that we went and should still allow for easy visiting even if they are a bit busy. Once inside, we straight to the menu and spent a few minutes pouring over what to get. My sister ended up getting a hot chocolate and I grabbed a drink called 'Outsiders'. According to the menu, it is a rotating dark blend. To me, that sounds like a normal black coffee that changes once in a blue moon. What I ordered was just that, but watching the barista make my drink, it was not that simple. He took about 5 minutes to prepare it, going through about 8 steps to make it. It seemed like a pour over black coffee with some added goods? For all the coffee that I drink and all the places that I have visited, the process to make all the varieties of coffee styles still alludes me. While we were waiting, my sister and I split the cookie that we ordered. It was a chocolate chocolate chip cookie that was a bit smaller than the palm of your hand. We both agreed that it was delicious and we wanted another! The inside of Ten Drops is cozy and open. There was plenty of seating for 12-16 people before it would reach capacity. There were a few people that braved the cold to grab something warm. The counter that you order from is also a bar that you can sit at. The sitting area (overall) is a bit bigger than what you can see in my photos. Once my drink was ready for consumption, we hit the road. It was once we were back on the interstate that we tried out our drinks. My sister said her hot chocolate was good, but it had more of a cinnamon flavor to it than anything else. I took a sip and I agreed. My coffee, despite all the work that went into it, tasted like a normal black roast... if not a bit fancier. It reminded me a lot of the coffee I got from Blueprint Coffee in St. Louis. I liked it quite a bit once I got halfway through it. My sister thought it tasted decent but was nothing to write home about. All in all, it was a great place to stop, stretch our legs and get some drinks for the road. read more

What a cute place!! A hidden gem for sure. The interior is still in the works, but wow. It's so cute, perfect for doing work, or school work. The iced latte I got was their "what's good here" drink. It has vanilla and honey in it and it's amazing. Best latte I've had in a while. Creamy, and delicious. I'll definitely be back here. I wish I could be a regular, however I live nowhere near this location. read more

Such a hidden gem! The island mocha and French toast lattes were both delicious. There is plenty of seating and the space was very well decorated. It felt comfortable like you could stay and spend time there for hours. The staff was also very helpful. Bonus is that they don't charge extra for alternative milks! Highly recommend and look forward to returning. read more

Bare bones coffee. It looks pretty boring inside but don't let that keep you from coming in a few minutes. Ten Drops Coffee is run by people who live for coffee, making the best possible stuff after putting in hours of perfection. Has a few African and European kinds. With some more options and some pastries they'll be even better after those. I came in to check it out a bit. Kind of quiet even for a coffee shop. There was music but that was it though. It didn't have much of an atmosphere. There was only one barista working. As you can expect, it took a long time just to get one cup of coffee. The coffee thankfully isn't too expensive even for this. I had an Ethiopian Pour Over. It's $3.80 for a regular. That's not bad for all that. Of course this coffee is labor intensive so costs are kind of higher. The lattes are good and you can get some of the less common nut milks like macadamia. For the most part it pretty much has nothing but coffee. If you're lucky there might be art for sale. There's nothing of any kind of food but it would be nice if they had some muffins and pastries. read more

I love their coffee! I'm always sure to stock up on bags. My favorite is The Outsider (good for drip and espresso). Each bad purchased comes with a free drink. Don't come out to Plainfield often, but when I do, it's one of my pit stops. I wish they still carried cool mugs. I have a couple of their old ones and people are always complimenting them. read more

All of the art was available for sale we were told and it was awesome! Love this coffee spot in Plainfield. It's the only specialty place in the area to my knowledge. Ryan is an expert roaster and barista, so anything on the menu is great, but especially the "what's good here" and the pour overs (brewed with a kalita wave). When we're in the area, it's my spot, greatly appreciate that Ten Drops is there. read more

4/5 due to small menu, no food options, and loud music. My drink was delicious and they have macadamia milk which is unique. I'm in from out of town and I stopped to do some homework. Coffee was good, but overpriced. Service wasn't the best, tried asking the cashier a question about the coffee and got ignored and had to ask a second time. Seems like they were a bit short-staffed that day but it was just alright overall. Probably will go elsewhere next time. read more

The place was really cute and the coffee was pretty good. Barista accidentally used the wrong milk and then blamed me for it. I've been dairy free for 10 years and wouldn't make that mistake.
