So I decided to go again and eat one fresh. I highly recommend eating their bagels the same day. It was light, soft, and delicious. I had a plain bagel with cream cheese. I also bought their pumpkin spice latte and did not care for it. Everyone has different preferences though on coffee. I think plain bagels will be my go to here.

I mention this in a review that ordering process might need to be looked at. A bright young man from Jeff's Bagels suggests I contact the Marketing Team at Jeff's Bagels. Let me suggest this; a customer walks out of your store without your product in hand and indicates there's a problem - now it's the customers problem to solve the failings of the business? I suggest; that's stupid and lazy. Good Luck - got my bagels a mile down the road.

Their cakes aren't too sweet so I especially like them. This Dubai chocolate cake in a can was a little difficult to eat. The presentation is cute but not so much functional. I wish I was able to really dig in and scoop up each layer but it was difficult with the tiny opening so it almost needed to be eaten layer by layer. I got the ube milk tea with real ube mixed in. We also admired all the art work on the walls that the owner did. Our beverages came out fast and we were able to sit and chat on their cute seating areas.

Service seemed rushed (i.e. before I was even done putting my card back in my wallet, she was taking care of the next person by shouting over me), which made me feel frazzled. However, it is just a short walk to the park, which was perfect. Just not sure I would be rushing back anytime soon, which is sad because I love supporting local businesses when possible.

People behind the counter were friendly and conversational, which is a plus in times like these where everyone is slow and stupid and mean. Got the chai cake because it is so similar to the autumn spice cakes I remember growing up with on the east coast. Which reminds, the Midwest SUCKS, so this whole little happy coffee experience was very pleasing to me. Ideal. All their homemade take-away items looked pretty incredible, too. No complaints!

(discovered) Matt Nakoa is a star waiting to be discovered. (confirmed). He played at the TWSCH and enthralled the audience. The host made the point that the house is a listening room--much appreciated--and it is. This is a volunteer run space which offers good coffee and some pop, water and packaged cookies.

Two Way is located in the basement of The First Congregational Church building in downtown Downers Grove across the street from the public library. If I didn't tell you you would never know it was there. Cost of admission is a $7.00 donation and the room holds maybe 60 people. there are small tables and some mixed seating and a drink bar for snacks and coffee. The room is very small but its a great intimate setting for up close and personnel folk music. Saturdays (2:00-4:00pm, $1) -- Bluegrass Jams -- Musicians of all experience levels gather to improve skills, learn/share tunes, and have fun!. Fourth Saturday of each month, 2:00-4:00pm. Today I stopped by to the Good Vibes Cafe to get some snacks…read more Nice clean cafe with a nice seating area. The cafe offers free cold water to customer's to drink as well. I got the Oreo Cookie Bar which was supper yummy but super unhealthy along with a cup of berries, pineapple and cheese. Customer service is very friendly and efficient! Definitely recommend this cafe to all Good Sam Visitors :)
