They have a modern design and everything was very clean with plenty of tables and spaces for plenty of people. Hopefully they have outdoor seating to make use of the patio out of front in the warmer months. Although a number of the sweet pastries and cakes sounded really good as well as the drink options, I ordered an iced mocha and a feta and spinach puff to go. But then I saw a turkey and cheese croissant was available too and I switched to that. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. There was a hiccup with my order from changing the pastry at the last minute but they were quick to give me the correct pastry and even let me keep the other one which was nice. I'm sure I will be back again.

They also let you build your own combinations, and a recent banana brown sugar iced latte I dreamed up was exactly as good as it sounds. The food punches above typical coffee shop fare. The Beyond sandwich with its sweet heat chipotle aioli is a genuine win, vegan or not. The brown sugar bacon gouda is a household favorite for my family. The baked treats are decent but honestly priced a touch above what they deliver. They are the only coffee shop in the area so the pricing reflects that reality more than the competition. The space is your standard coffee shop Joanna Gaines-esque rustic, warm and comfortable. They feature local art on the walls which I love, though I wish they rotated it more frequently. Easy way to keep things fresh and support the local creative community more actively. Staff is kind, genuinely engaging, and this is a queer safe space, which matters and is always worth naming out loud.

He frequently brought up politics, demographics, and "statistics" at work in ways that felt inappropriate and often came across as biased. It wasn't the kind of environment I expected from a workplace. I personally chose not to engage with these conversations because I was there to work, and I try to keep my personal beliefs separate from my workplace. However, being repeatedly exposed to these types of comments from management made the environment feel unprofessional. I also noticed that he would tell us certain employees had quit, but after speaking with those employees, I learned that was not always what happened. This made me feel like there was a lack of honesty and transparency in how situations were handled. One comment that really stuck with me was when he told me and another young female employee that we'd be prettier if we spoke more intelligently and that men would like us more. We are both very young girls, and that comment was incredibly inappropriate and made us uncomfortable. I was also told that if I came in early every day, I would receive a $1 raise. I did exactly that, and I received the raise on my final paycheck. Just a few days later, I was fired. It was confusing to be recognized with a raise and then immediately let go without being given a meaningful explanation. I was told I was being fired because I supposedly had an attitude with a customer. When I asked what had happened, I wasn't given a clear explanation and was simply told they had decided not to continue my employment. I work hard, take my jobs seriously, and I rarely leave negative reviews because I know everyone is trying their best. I didn't contact them afterward because I felt I had already been treated disrespectfully. After the way I was spoken to and the lack of honest communication, I didn't feel another conversation would have changed anything. As a customer, I also found the food to be average, especially for the price. Before I even worked here, my mom and I had cheesecake from the café on a few different occasions, and every time it had a noticeable freezer-burn taste. For the prices they charge, I expected much better quality. Based on my experience as both an employee and a customer, I would encourage people to support another family-owned café instead.

Next was the Pastel Dulce. The filling, so sweet, a touch of salt. Very decedant. Where the pastry itself was a little on the dry side. Still flaky though. Their coffee is made with Solo Roast coffee beans which are local. I loved the quality of the bean mixed with their signature latte flavor. They balanced each other well for a cozy drink that was highly enjoyable. My husband got the Chai Latte which uses Tazo tea. The staff is still in training so patience is key but well worth the wait! This is a company that has risen to the top because of their *awesome* customer service and unfortunately that beaming interaction is not present at this location. I wanted to wait to write a review since it's a new location to give them a bit of grace during the transition. I'm pretty disappointed though. The drinks are always good, which should be the most important part, but when driving away I haven't left in a better mood than when I entered the drive through line. And of course, that's THEE POINT of getting coffee! I've encountered the gen z stare multiple times, and when workers are friendly it seems forced. It's offputting and unwelcoming. Another issue with this location, I waited 15 extra minutes one time because there was mix up with the drinks in the car in front of me. I know it wasn't the employee's fault BUT there is no way to get out of line once you have your drink (far left line) so if there's an issue, everyone waits. That being said, you can get your drink fixed before you leave the line, but then you're the "a-hole" that holds up the line. Overall I love 7 Brew and I'm hoping they tweak the customer service here to become an all star establishment.
