I ordered a smoothie bowl and a smoothie last night on uber eats and the store closed before my delivery person could even get there (this isn't nauticals bowls fault as I had ordered an hour prior so it was an uber eats issue) well this morning I woke up and decided to reorder it because I still wanted it. I just got my order and tried sticking my straw into my smoothie to which it broke because it's frozen. At first I was like nice they were keeping it cold for me but no. I then go to eat my smoothie bowl and realize it's also frozen. BECAUSE THEY TOOK MY ORDER FROM LAST NIGHT AND FROZE IT AND WHEN I RE ORDERED THEY JUST TOOK IT OUT OF THE FREEZER AND DELIVERED IT TO ME. what "fresh" company even does that? I don't like when my fruit is frozen and not only that but I'm not paying for a smoothie bowl that was made the night before and put in the freezer. If I wanted that i'd just eat at home? I get not wanting to waste it but then give it to an employee or something. Who tf does that? I'm so angry right now. Would you want a place to make a pizza in the oven the night before and then put it in the fridge and just reheat it the next day in the microwave when you order it? Probably not. What a joke.

Over the past few months we've worked our way through both the sweet and savory sides of the menu, trying favorites like the Strawana, Signature, Dubai Chocolate, Alfredo Chicken, All American, and Mediterranean crêpes. This is a small, family-owned Eastern European café with welcoming staff, and that warmth adds to the experience every time. Seating inside is limited, though they offer outdoor seating during the warmer months. Most of our visits have been takeout, and the quality has been consistently excellent, making it an easy choice whether we're eating there or taking it home. If you're in the Downers Grove area and looking for a casual place with delicious crêpes and genuine hospitality, this local gem is well worth a visit.

The honey definitely added to the sweetness, and the fruit tasted like it may have been frozen rather than freshly cut. That said, the portion size was generous, everything was put together nicely, and I could definitely see this being a refreshing treat or dessert on a hot summer day. If you have a sweeter palate, you'll probably enjoy it. Next time, I'd skip the honey to let the fruit flavors shine a bit more.
