Shaghf Cafe - We got there shortly after it opened. Quiet at first, but it picked up throughout the day.

Being that Ramadan had recently started, I assumed this was post iftar, the evening break in the fast and peeps were coming for drinks and desserts. The drink menu is on a display but it doesn't mention what flavors are associated in some of their custom drinks. I was split between a Habibi, coconut or Biscoff flavored lattes. A conversation with the barista pushed me towards the aforementioned and they said they could lighten the sweetness. I don't remember the details of exactly what gives its "Middle Eastern flair", the flavors worked and kept me awake for the drive. Judging from the many orders being called out, I picked the most popular. If you dig chill spaces to work & or meet new peeps, seek out details on their IG page. They host lively events to discover their new menu items and or trivia nights engaging popular topics Ie Star Wars, Marvel, and more.

I was overly disappointed with the lack of food and drink options compared to the other location. We ordered karak chai, lemon breeze passion refresher, and biscoff cheesecake. The lemon breeze passion refresher was good. The cheesecake wasn't too sweet. Service was friendly. The experience overall was kind of meh to me. I've been to many Middle Eastern cafes so this location was like one and done for me.

The Ridge Bar and Grill - Ham and American cheese omelette off the grill with fruit, made to order and I wasn't disappointed.

I ordered a skirt steak sandwich (with grilled onions and grilled jalapeños) which came with fries and soup. It was excellent. My soup was eaten by another family member, who remarked how good it was (much to my chagrin, as I wasn't offering it, but stayed a good sport). 2nd visit wasn't as great. The corned beef sandwich was okay, not Schmaltz though. Not sure why no yellow mustard came on it or even as a side. The fries and soup though were excellent (this time I got to eat it; it was cream of chicken rice). 3rd time, back to the skirt steak again, this time I had a choice of 2 soups: minestrone or chicken noodle. I chose minestrone and was so happy to finally be getting it. Only I didn't. They messed up and gave me chicken noodle. First time in my life I had a 5-star meal (yes, the chicken noodle was also excellent), but felt totally upset. I will have the minestrone one day, I promise. Look forward to trying their breakfast one day, as their menu looks quite extensive.

Hate giving out a review like this to a small business but the food was "that" bad…read more The service was good no issue, Place was clean that's the end of the good news. However the food from apps to entree to even the soda was subpar. Apps ordered were cheese sticks and fried mushrooms. Both were soggy and greasy can tell the oil was not hot enough. Ordered a club sandwich...turkey on it was slimy and nothing was fresh it was not good. Chicken Quesadilla were terrible, tasted weird not sure what type of cheese was used but it was not good... it was so bad only 2-3 bites were taken. A patty melt was also ordered by a party at the table and it was equally terrible, dry, flavorless and just plain terrible. Last the soda was warm so warm that the ice put in the Soda was almost all melted by the time it got to the table. Folk there are many more better options in the area...this place should be a hard pass.

Service was fairly quick, and there's decent seating inside, perfect for catching up with friends or relaxing solo with a drink. We tried the karak chai, which was super flavorful and refreshing, and the madras coffee -- which honestly stole the show! It tastes just like authentic filter coffee from India, rich and perfectly balanced. The bun with malai and honey was light, fluffy, and paired perfectly with our drinks -- a simple but absolutely delicious snack. Definitely recommend this spot if you love authentic chai or South Indian-style coffee -- a true hidden gem worth visiting!

We had high hopes and were looking forward to some really good chai. Unfortunately this place was…read moredisappointing. We got a chicken kofte roll, 1 doodh pathi, and 1 samosa chaat. It took about 15 for the roll to come out and then another 10-15 minutes for the samosa chaat out and they literally forgot the doodh pathi until we asked about it at the end. The excuse was that they were making it from scratch? The roll was decent, really just tasted and felt like they got the ingredients from Patel Brothers and threw it together. Same with the somosa chaat, which didn't even have a samosa. It was just one deconstructed samosa crushed along the plate and covered in yogurt and some chutneys. There was more chickpeas than samosa. Both dishes were something I'd expect to put together at home last minute if a guest showed up unannounced and even then i'd be embarrassed to serve this stuff. We got the doodh pathi finally as we were heading out and we expected a soothing drink of tea leaves brewed in milk. Unfortunately all you taste is milk. Wouldn't recommend
