Me and my wife visited Lola's Handcrafted Churros today in Downtown Lisle! We were immediately greeted and our order was taken right away! Lola's has a beautiful pink ambiance with pretty decorations - Snap & IG worthy :) The Matcha & Fruity Pebbles sundae with vanilla ice cream was so good! This will be my go to order for here. Definitely worth checking out!!

This was my second time visiting this place. The first time, they didn't have as much variety. The employees are very welcoming and attentive. We ordered pistachio and gold churro, Nutella and strawberries churro, and horchata strawberry. I do like the variety of churros available, they were both chewy and warm. However, the pistachio and the strawberry flavors were not evident after taking a couple bites of each one. Maybe try injecting the flavors inside them? I do appreciate the portion sizes. The horchata strawberry could use a stronger horchata taste, it was a bit too thin/watered down compared to other ones I've tried. The decoration was mostly pink. There's a spot in the corner for taking pictures. Unfortunately, at the time we came there were two moms and two daughters loitering and hogging the area. (12/14/24 after 9 pm) I honestly wanted to take a picture to add to my review. The two moms looked way too old to be taking 20 pictures of themselves. Parking is easy to find.

Stopped in again before catching a train to Chicago. I went with a regular churro and a small Latte. I'd say the coffee is on the pricier side but it wasn't bad.

This was the perfect night cap for our group after the illumination light show at the nearby arboretum. The staff was welcoming and engaging, the churros were tasty, and the ambience was adorable. Get the churro bites with either the dolce de leche dip or the Nutella dip. You won't regret it!

What an amazing place that sells churros AND ice cream. It's located downtown Lisle and has a cute front entrance with a bench outside. The inside is quite cozy and dreamy with cloud decor on the ceiling, a selfie wall and lots of colorful and inviting things to enjoy. The best part however...is the churros. Wowww!! I tried the celebration churro which had frosting and sprinkles, was warm and then put into ice cream. How amazing is that!!! My husband also tried the cookie butter churro. Again, taste buds were quite pleased. This place is such an excellent stop in downtown Lisle. The staff are very friendly and the churro sundaes are aaaammaaazzziingg.

This is such a cute spot in Lisle! The churros were made fresh and there was a good selection of toppings although it's good by itself too. I got the chocolate almond topping and it was delicious. The portion size is pretty large and the staff was incredibly helpful when deciding what to order. Overall cute spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend!

At a great Baby Reveal party where Lola's brought their mobile kitchen! Fresh churros with a number of options of different dippings and festive coverings!

Great experience! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I got the churro with chocolate and almonds. It was delicious! The churro was very fresh. The portion was huge, it would be great to split with a child or significant other. Prepared to get messy with this dessert! I liked that they showed me pictures of all the options.

Churro loops and soft serve ice cream with toppings? It looks AND tastes good in a location that is very insta-worthy. From the pink lighting, wall for taking pics, and the rose wallpaper, there's so much to take in. There's no way to eat these in a clean manner, but that's ok. Churros are made fresh to order, and you can get mini loops as well. Lola's is a unique dessert experience to try.. I tried the matcha and fruity pebbles, which was a sweet delight. The churros are freshly made to order, and the soft serve strawberry was the perfect complement to the touch of match glaze and fruity pebbles. I also had the Cookies & Cream and that was also delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the choices here. I felt so bad making a mess indoors, the but owners told me that it's their job to help us enjoy the desserts, so not to worry about it. Such nice people.

Grab those napkins,it's going to get messy and delicious! I've been through Lisle many times. I didn't even know this place existed until now! Lola's is right off the main road, and parking is super easy. It's an extremely cute place with nice lighting and seating. The staff is super friendly. I usually save this to the end, but right away, I have to say, I totally recommend this place! I ordered the Smore Churro Loop with strawberry ice cream. Talk about delicious! The churro is huge and soft. I totally prefer soft over hard churros. There's a lot in these servings. I was watching the staff make these, and it's super cool. I feel bad for how much effort goes into these, and then I demolish it :). Stop by, I feel like this is a hidden gem.

Come for the churros or come for the photo ops. Really cute spot on Main Street in Lisle downtown area to grab some freshly made churros. We opted for the chocolate dipped churro w/ almonds and served on top of some soft serve top share between three of us. They have a variety of different toppings and dips to choose from as well as some options for coffee/espresso drinks as well. Son loved it. Wife loved it. Perfect after dinner/date spot. 'Til next time, cheers!

This is the beautiful pink hidden gem you've been waiting for to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings! I literally had no idea that Lola's existed until I was in the Lisle downtown area and saw their cute sign outside! When I realized that it was a churros spot, I did not think anything else other than the regular churros we've all had for dessert. But Lola's is here to take churros to another level!! They have an incredible variety of churros from biscoff cookie butter and cookies and cream to birthday cake and matcha fruity pebbles. They serve churros on their own or you can choose to top the churros off on some ice cream (depends on how big your sweet tooth is LOL!!) I got the chocolate and almond flavor - the churro was competely covered in ghiardelli chocolate and dipped in almonds. The churro was soooooo warm and crispy and sweet yet salty and absolutely PERFECTTTTTT!! I literally have not had a better churro EVER! They also have tons of drinks and refreshments so you can get your caffeine fix at the same time! The staff was so helpful in deciding which flavor to get given it was my first time and I did not know what to expect! If all of this isn't enough, it's seriously some of the most aesthetic food establishments I've been in! The pink is so beautiful and used in the most amazing ways throughout the restaurant. From the cute scooter right when you walk in, to literally the most chic and gorgeous bathroom, it's a treat to your eyes!! If you guys are in the Lisle area, would HIGHLYYY recommend! What an absolutely unique idea, absolutely incredible execution, and absolutely delicious flavors!

The lemon pound cake had the faintest hint of lemon, and it tasted more like lemon extract than fresh lemon. (No hint of the zestiness that comes when using fresh lemon). Definitely lacking in flavor. The icing on top was the best part of the cake. The vanilla one tasted like vanilla, but still didn't have as much flavor as I would have hoped. I would have liked the icing on this one vs powdered sugar. The texture of both of the cakes was rubbery. You can definitely tell these are baked with margarine vs butter. Both texture and flavor would be better if real butter were used. Now let's talk about the chocolate chip scone. OMG! Delicious! If I were the owner of this store, I would call it the Scone Bakery! Texture was perfect. Flavor was perfect. I will definitely return to this store, but I will be getting scones, not pound cake.

Two weeks before the event, I came in person with a printed cake design, a clear color theme (green, cream, and white), and a macaron accent order to go with it. I was flexible on the design details, just committed to the vision. On the day of pickup, I arrived a little late -- my fault -- but there was no cake waiting, and my order couldn't be found. Hannah behind the counter did her best, and when owner Robert walked in, I calmly explained everything from the start. I won't lie -- I was heartbroken more than angry. This was a big night. What happened next is why I'm writing this review. Robert and his team didn't hesitate. They snapped a photo of the design from my phone, asked every detail, and promised to make it right -- with Robert personally delivering the cake to the venue (thankfully just 5 minutes away). And he did. He showed up with the cake designer in tow and delivered something truly stunning: a handsome, elegant cake that fit the theme perfectly and genuinely wowed my brother and guests. And the flavor? Their Atomic. Banana (pudding), strawberries (jam), and chocolate, vanilla & banana cake. YUM! It was incredibly moist and delicious. What could have been a devastating hiccup for such a milestone night became one of the most memorable parts of the celebration. That's a testament to Robert and his team's character, dedication, and craft. Thank you, Area 51 Cupcakery. We've loved your cupcakes from day one, and this experience only deepened our loyalty. All of the cupcakes were moist, fluffy, and full of flavor. They are made daily and you can feel and taste the love. Area 51 is definitely my favorite cupcake spot of all time. I've gone to Area 51 probably every week since finding em and I can't get enough. They also made cupcakes for my baby's gender reveal.
