I received a gift box of their cinnamon orange lip balm, soap, and hand balm from someone. Let me tell you, the chapstick is amazing. The feeling of the lip balm on my lips is wonderful. It helps with my chapped lips during winter. Same thing with their hand balm, it has literally has saved me this winter. My left hand usually gets super red on the knuckles, which hurts a lot, and sometimes get red tiny dots. With one day of reapplying the hand balm, the pain was gone, and the redness went down tremendously. Once I run out I am stocking up on both. Can't wait to smell their different scents i've read online!! I'm not a big bar soap user but has been wonderful on my skin and smells great. This place is so cute!!!! I go next door to get facials, and my esthetician was running a little behind. I never noticed Mion before, and so glad I did while waiting!! While strolling around downtown Wheaton we came across Mion Soap. It's a quaint little store that offers soaps of all kinds, essential oils, and bath accessories. It is a great spot to find a nice gift for that special someone. After roaming around a bit, and asking a few questions, we bought a few items. I'm actually a self-proclaimed soap connoisseur so I was eager to give their offering a try. A soap dish, some solid shampoo, and a gift box later we were on our way. Not only is this place impeccably arranged and decorated but the staff is very friendly and happy to answer any questions you have. One of the neatest things, I think, is the fact that they make all of their soaps in-house. In fact, the back stock is over-flowing! When you walk into the store a lovely fragrance fills your nose. Very organized store with a large selection of soap, bath bombs, lotion, and more. The products are amazing. They will gift wrap too which comes in handy when you are getting a gift for someone. The beer soap was well liked by my spouse. My neighbor loved the lavender bar of soap and bath bomb I gifted her. Back in 2017 I went to the Lagrange craft fair where I bought several items of Mion Soap. I fell in love with all the items I bought. Each year, I went back and I couldn't find the booth. I had lost the business card and couldn't remember the name. I had tried other company soaps and none and I mean NONE were anything like the Mion Soap Company. I spent 4 days scrolling through my photos in the hopes to find any pictures of the soap I got to buy more. I have over 100,000 photos. I found a picture of the soap I bought and quickly looked it up. I found that Mion Soap had a store front. I quickly called to let them know I was on my way. I spent over $300.00 that day. I now, am a regular. I have even taken family and friends in. By far the quality of their products is like none other! I'm so happy I found them after searching for years. The owner is super dedicated to her craft and you can tell she is determined to provide quality products. I'm so happy to see she will be opening up in St. Charles as her second store. read more

What an amazing place. We were doing the reindeer walk and could not resist a handmade soap shop, so we went in and came out with tons of products! Handmade bars, room spray, facial wash, pump soap and refills and they also sell accessories like wool dryer balls, real sponges and bath bombs! You can see into the workroom, where people were busily making more items and that was really interesting to watch. I will definitely put this on my go-to list in the future when we (eventually) run out of our supplies from this trip! read more

I had such a nice visit here! I stopped in with an idea of what I wanted and left with a few extra items. I wanted to get a shampoo bar and find out more about them. Olga explained to me how to use one and pointed out all the great natural ingredients in them. I also checked out the testing station with a scrub and sampled some hand salve. All of it was great. Even though these products have a scent to them, the smell in the store is not overpowering like some places. Everything is well labelled and easy to view which makes browsing so easy. I LOVE this place! I have very sensitive skin so I only use natural products for a lot of things. So when I stumbled across this store in my lovely hometown, I was so excited! I've only gotten their candles, but I'm obsessed. I love candles but I hate how so many are full of toxins, but their candles fit my needs perfectly. All natural and have a strong smell! (But a good strong, not overpowering at all.) I was surprised how strong it was given, it is mostly composed of essential oils. I have three so far: lavender, peppermint and the beeswax one with rosemary and lemon. All three scents are fantastic!! And the beeswax one crackles which is super neat. This soap store is so wonderful - and filled with lots more than just soap! There is natural sunscreen, body lotion, laundry soap, dog soap, bug repellent, and so much more! The owners are such nice people. I spoke with the wife for a while about natural products in general and getting away from all the chemical-filled things that fill our everyday lives. The soaps they make smell so wonderful and I love that each one is labeled with the various benefits and skin types they are for. I tested the face wash on my hands and it rinsed off really nicely and left my hands feeling soft. I'm looking forward to trying out more of their great items. I might even splurge one day and get one of the Turkish cotton robes! read more

Their shampoo is AMAZING! I have had so many years of buying different shampoos to try to find the one that would make my hair too greasy or completely dry it out. The body oil here is exquisite!!! Very effective for Winter dry skin and the scents are divine!!! I initially received a bottle for Christmas. I live in California and immediately bought more bottles to be sent over. The customer service was also stellar when I contacted the store.
