I contacted the salon and waited five days for a response. I specifically asked whether Marek would personally fix the cut, as I had previously paid him to correct a haircut by Dira. I was told that Marek was currently booking about six months out, into March 2027, and was asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment then. I was then refunded and told, "To be very clear, Dira wants to and loves doing precision cuts. She is one of the best. We're sorry you were not a fit." I appreciated the refund, but was disappointed that the haircut itself was not addressed and that my concern was characterized as simply not being "a fit."

The salon has a clean, minimalist atmosphere, and everyone from the stylists to the owner is warm, professional, and welcoming. It's also a teaching salon, which I love. It's inspiring to see the level of care, precision, and learning that goes into each service. I've been seeing Sabrina, a talented student stylist who will be hopefully on her own by the holidays. She's calm, attentive, and thorough and truly takes the time to understand what you're looking for. The prices are very resonance, and the location in downtown wheaton is perfect! Their website can be overwhelming when picking a stylist, I would recommend calling to discuss your hair type and what you want done. Highly recommend this salon!

I've been getting my hair dyed since middle school. I'm very picky about my Latina hair texture, how it looks, how it's styled, and just... everything. I'm extra like that. However, Andrew is the ONLY HUMAN on this earth is trust with my hair (second to Papa God). My husband and I have considered moving to a different state twice in the past couple of years. When this happens, I don't think about the usual adult things like what am I going to do about my job? The dog? The house? I think.... How am I going to find someone like Andrew to do my hair? If you want someone who will tell you how it is, knows what looks good on you, and will put your hair first over his bottom line, that's Andrew. One time I considered getting a very expensive treatment done (think +$400 keratin treatment), which I'm sure he would've made good money on, and he flat out said "Bella, you don't need that. I'll do it if you really want to, but you don't need it." Absolute pleasure spending my hard earned money at C'zar. The people are amazing (so kind and funny and just human), the atmosphere is so relaxing, plus you can get hand massages and scalp massages when you get shampooed. Coming here is my little slice of Heaven!!! For reference for the pics: I always get balaye-type coloring done. Glazes in between. I come every 2-3 months ish.

I've been going to Salon Neapolitan since I was a little girl and haven't switched hairstylists since. I've always had my hair cut/trimmed by Nicolle and for about 8 years I've had my hair colored, highlighted and cut. I've experimented several times with the color of my hair and its style. For my highlights, Nicolle incorporates 3 different shades of blonde and they all blend together beautifully. Since I decided to cut my long hair into a short angle-like-bob, I've received multiple compliments because Nicolle does such a great job. She has the expertise and talent to make any of your hairstyle/color visions become reality. I've always put 100% of my trust into Nicolle and her professional skills when it came time to make final decisions regarding the color and style that I had envisioned. She is truly passionate about her profession and makes every experience worth your time and money. The atmosphere at Salon Neapolitan is beautiful from the ceilings to the decorations on the wall. Every time I've gone in to get my hair cut, I've always shown Nicolle a picture of the hair style I envisioned and she has always replicated it perfectly if not better! Nicolle is very friendly, fun to talk to, and genuinely wants to make her clients happy from the moment they walk in through the salon's entrance to the moment they walk out the salon feeling beautiful inside an out. I went in 9/15 for a full highlight. It states $110 on the booking website that I booked through and in the end I was charged $192. Caught off guard with the price swap and since I had already been there for 3.5 hours, I didn't ask or want to make a scene. The itemized receipt says $35 for glaze, when booking on the website the details it says glaze is included. It also was never disclosed during the service that I would be charged additional for the color bowls either. This is more expensive and DOUBLE the time of a senior stylist the city. I have reached out to this company privately through both their Facebook and instagram. Several messages were read and went unanswered. Going forward, I would not recommend this business, not because of the services I received but the hidden fees of which they are not upfront about prior to services or while in the chair. I have included snapshots of what their booking website reads. It was my naivety, that I believed the cost of glaze which is "required to achieve desired tone" would be included in the service fee. The separate cost is not stated anywhere on their website. Sneaky sneaky I should add that I have no problem paying for a great service and I believed the lower price was due to the extended time needed. Time is valuable when you're a toddler mom. It is the bait and switch that bothers me and when I reached out my questions went ignored. read more

I am so happy I found this salon! It was an amazing experience and I'm already going back in a couple days. I talked to Nicolle about a bad experience at a different salon where I had asked for natural balayage and was given highlights and a full color. I explained I was hoping a haircut would help but was open to talking to someone about trying to fix the color. She was so fast and kind and booked me an appointment within the next hour. Al was amazing! She is so patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I trusted her immediately and she took the time to explain what happened, listened to what I had originally wanted, and set up a plan to give me hair I could love again. It's been a long time since I had a stylist take the time to give my hair the attention and detail she did. I walked in feeling so worried and sad about my current hair and Al brought it back to life! I walked out with confidence and am still so happy a day later! This review is way overdue but Nicolle has worked on my hair for the last 4-5 years and has never disappointed! Nicolle has done short and long cuts on me as well as color and I always leave 100% satisfied. She is great about asking what I want in the beginning and obtaining feedback throughout the appointment to make sure I'm happy with the cut/color. I spent years trying and failing to find a decent hair stylist (especially one that can work well with Asian hair) and I'm so glad to have found Salon Neapolitan. In addition to Nicolle, all the staff that I've interacted with have been super nice and accommodating to my needs. Also, the new(ish) salon space is very trendy and modern. Although I have moved to different states/cities since I first started going to Salon Neapolitan, I have always come back to Wheaton any time I needed my hair done because the quality is consistently amazing! read more

I won a raffle for a free haircut to the salon, it was only valid with Emily, so I made my appointment, we talked about what I wanted and she went away to cutting. I asked for layers in my hair, side swept bangs, and for the cut to be V shaped. Well my bangs were chopped, nothing side swept about them, my layers are not even on both sides, when I straighten my hair you can literally see that my right side has shorter layers than my left!!! I am extremely disappointed and embarrassed by the cut I received! I read reviews of the salon that said great things which is the only reason I decided to use my free cut, in hindsight I WISH I had just gone anywhere else... bc now I am stuck playing a waiting game for my hair to grow out so that I can go somewhere to get this cut fixed without jeopardizing the length I want. 100% disappointed. read more

This new hair salon is impressive as you walk in. It's a little hidden and from the outside I can't say much about it except that there's plenty of parking and very easy to find. Decoration is beautiful, very clean and receptionist is welcoming. I was looking to color my damaged hair and found Justyna. She's AMAZING! She really pays attention to detail while making sure to listen to my hair needs. I have curly and thin hair and wanted to be careful to choose the right hairstylist, I can't say enough, she went beyond her knowledge and expertise. Nicole knows exactly what she's doing! I had a mess on my hands (head lol) and she knew exactly what to do. I needed a bad color job fixed and was lost as to the color correction I wanted along with shape and style. She spent 30 minutes consulting with me, showing me a lot of before and after pics of hair she has colored, cut and styled. Her staff was friendly and made sure all my needs were met. I received the best scalp massage EVER! I nearly fell asleep LOL. We talked, we joked, we laughed! What a great time with 'just the girls'!! Thank you Nicole! Today I went to Amanda G at Salon Neapolitan for the first time and it was wonderful! Everything felt very clean, sanitary and comfortable. I was hesitant to go get my hair done as I've greatly limited exposure and instantly those fears and worries disappeared. The interior of the salon is beautiful and they even have an amazing and spacious outdoor patio where you can sit out and take your mask off while your color process. Amanda did such an incredible job on my hair, it was beyond what I was expecting. I will absolutely be returning to Amanda in the future and am thrilled with the finished. Nicolle is accommodating to my schedule and always makes me look better than I am. Extremely knowledgeable, a great cut/style every time, and works with my imperfect hair making it perfect consistently. Love the salon, a great place to escape, even for 20-30 minutes. I have been to a lot of hair salons in my time, and I can say I have never been fully satisfied until I went to this one. Everything was great. The atmosphere, advice, tools, and Nicolle was great! She answered all my questions, and did a great job on making my hair actually manageable again! Absolutely amazing! This salon is a hidden gem! You walk in and not expecting this huge gorgeous space. I love all the staff, Justyna, Evelyn, Nicolle, Katie, Kelly, Donna and front desk staff are always so friendly and inviting. They offer holiday coffee and hot cocoa now as well as there usual cucumber water. The staff appears to be well educated as they host hair cutting classes and are top notch cutters. I had an amazing experience here! Sabrina was incredibly patient with my lack of hair knowledge and my many questions. She took time to make sure any concerns or questions I had were answered. She was very knowledgeable and did my hair with lots of care and skill. Salon Neapolitan was recommended to me fifteen years ago by several neighbors who were clients of the owner, Nicole. Fifteen years later, I still call Nicole when I need my hair colored and cut. Nicolle is the best! I've been going to her for probably 20 years. She stays up on the latest trends and gets ongoing training at NY and other places. She's great at hair styles and also a master with color. That seems to be her specialty. She mixed up the PERFECT color when I started to get my hair colored. Nicole has been my hair stylist for decades. She's a fabulous colorist and I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else! Long ago I became tired of the bigger salons with all the noise and hyper-activity. Two other people were there and saw the final job and said it looks great (neither were there at the end...no one saw it but Carrie and myself). I don't think this salon is the right fit for you, this is the first time we have such a complaint." I told her I can send her pictures, she said okay. Waiting to hear back...I wanted to post pictures but not sure how to do it. I did on my FB page for friends as we discussed this and the main comment was, "They should pay you double for what it'll cost to not only fix this but the damage your hair will probably incur in the process." Thanks for not only doing a terrible job but making it sound like I'm the problem. After I sent her the pictures, the owner called me several hours later and said the pictures were "unclear" and that she's not refunding me the money and if I want to take it further I can (?). I told her that's fine, I didn't authorize to be charged without the promise of a redo and had I known I wouldn't get a refund if they couldn't fulfill their promise, I wouldn't have paid. She told me okay, to come by the salon right then so she can "run fingers through the hair" and I said sure! She hung up the phone on me. My husband called her back and nicely said the same thing: that he's sitting right next to me and it does look terrible at the top and that we can come as she recommended. To which she replied, "let me ask you, are you a color expert? no? then your opinion doesn't matter to me. Do not come here, I don't want to see you near here. If you file a dispute I'll take you to small claims court." We were shocked that it got so out of control. To further the insanity, half an hour later we get a call from our local police! The owner showed up there to have them call us to not show up! We asked the police what is going on and explained the situation - that we never threatened them nor said anything to even make it sound like we were going to be there. The police officer just said that we didn't do anything wrong and that he just had to call because they came there but there's nothing to be done. Yes, me at 9 months pregnant and my husband on our way with our toddler to visit my parents' house were going to do something to the salon? This was THE most crazy situation we've ever dealt with...

Even if I found a stylist there I liked and asked for her every time I went, they would never remember how they cut my hair from time to time. I was walking by Fusion one day and decided to give it a try. I have been going there ever since. The haircuts are very good, they remember exactly how they cut my hair from time to time, ask how I like the haircut and if there is anything they can change about it. While decidedly more expensive than the discount hair salons, the results are definitely worth the price.

I go to this location and the one downtown Naperville. Their turnover is absolutely horrendous. They don't have enough tenured stylists, so booking an appointment with one takes weeks to schedule. Whenever I find a stylist I like they end up quitting. I called today saying i would be 15 minutes late for my sons haircut and asked if they could still take us. I would have totally understood if they said no. They told me to still come in. We got there exactly at the time I said I'd be there and they turned us away. Not okay. I already told them on the phone my husband was in the hospital. Not okay to screw with someone's day ever, but especially when they're in the middle of a family crisis.

I am pretty laid back about what I want to do with my hair and let her take the reigns as to what is best to go with. She is very easy to work with and will listen to your needs, but she is also honest about what the results could be-- which is always a good thing! Very nice and easy to work with her schedule. Although I am mostly a Nicole client, I have seen the work of the other ladies and they are wonderful and do amazing jobs with their clients. I don't live in the area anymore, but when I do go back into town I always make time to stop in and find an excuse to get something done.

I love Innovations, but only needed blunt baby trims. Unfortunately the price was the same no matter the cut, so I tried other salons to cut costs. Bad idea! I experienced disaster after disaster. I couldn't chance one more uneven cut, so went back to Innovations. Antoinette is on maternity leave, so I was referred to Leah. Wow, is she great! She cut my hair exactly how I wanted: evening it out with a blunt cut. It looks so much fuller and healthier! She also explained how a cut my mom had always done actually adds an angle. I never realized, but it made total sense! I skipped the blow-dry and style. In short: Leah listened to what I wanted, gave her input, and executed the cut exactly how I wanted! It's worth every penny to not be stressed out over any more bad cuts!
