We popped in during the Christmas walk and I'm so glad we did! We ordered at the counter but you can also grab a table and staff will come serve. My sister got a fresh baguette and was delighted in came out warm. I got half a dozen macarons (all are gluten free!) and was thrilled by the different flavors like cotton candy, pink lemonade, etc. The staff seemed knowledgeable about gluten free options so I will be back for a sit down meal and to try the gluten free pizza and Aperol slush!

French Dip and a glass of red wine. Delicious.

What a great addition to Third Street in downtown Geneva. The food is outstanding, the venue unique and beautiful, and the staff friendly and efficient. The restaurant owners were on site and were really engaging. Can't wait to go again. Best addition to Geneva in years.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. We've been going to the galena location for years and are super happy to have this now close to home.

Glad to see something fun went into the old 318 building. They really fixed up the interior nicely, comfy chairs, tables and a bar area. The food and drink menu is quite extensive and unique. From cocktails, beer, wine to pizza, handhelds, breakfast, lunch and desserts....something for everyone. Staff is incredible as is the food. Our first visit here, my wife had the Veggie Quiche with salad...she loved it! I had the Gyro Sandwich w/fries, everything was fresh and delicious especially the naan bread the gyro was served on, very very fresh. Finished off this wonderful lunch with an eclair, should have bought more to take home. Looking forward to going back!

If they want to last they may want to rethink their price points. Even for Geneva, they are too high with small portions.

Le P'tit was the first to pop up on my feed and immediately caught my attention due to its unique menu, historic building, and secluded outdoor oasis for the fair weather seasons. When asked where I wanted to have dinner on my birthday, the answer was easy, L'ptit! We were greeted by the Chef Chopra outside, who welcomed us and asked us to choose the seat that suited us best in or outdoors. We chose a seat outside as it seemed most guests were enjoying the nice weather in the garden. Chef Chopra introduced himself and explained the complimentary montadito, and presented the current specials. We loved that he took time to ask what brought us in, and when we said that we were building a new home in Bartlett only minutes away, he shared that although he has been all over the world he always misses good old Bartlett, IL. This is the kind of connection and service you won't find at franchise restaurants! We enjoyed cocktails, myself a dirty tini with bleu cheese stuffed olives, and my husband the traditional old fashioned and the P'tit old fashioned - both of which he enjoyed. We ordered the hummus for an appetizer - my husband never orders humus. Not a drop was left. It was so flavorful, and since I am intolerant to gluten we loved that it was served with cucumber "chips". We will definitely order this again! Our entrees were both specials - mine the steak and shrimp tower and my husband's the Birria. We could t decide whose was better. The shrimp and steak were so flavorful and beautifully cooked, and the beef and consommé of my husband's was out of this world. My takeaways from Le P'tit: We will be there - regularly, before we move into our home, and after! Have a cocktail, they are fabulous. Talk to Chef Chopra any chance you get. He has seen the world and loves to see his guests enjoying his menu and the atmosphere of his establishment. This is what supporting local is about! Enjoy your time at Le P'tit. Savor. Take a moment to slow down, disconnect from the outside and connect with the ones around you and enjoy the wonderfully and thoughtfully prepared dishes on the menu. We can't wait to be back!

Pretty much like a tapas bar with small bites. The prices can get expensive but there's some affordable good things. Came here in the evening and it was busy. It's still got plenty of seating so we were able to get to the bar in front. This is a place where they specialize in tapas. Not as much to eat. Of course the food comes out faster though. It's about $12 for a basic cocktail. The fancier ones are a few bucks more. It's about $10 for an appetizer. We got the Al Trio Salsa. Basically it's a few salsas along with chips. These were made with crudo, habanero, and morita peppers. Ranged from mild to burn your mouth hot. The rest of the menu has the usual things like tacos and stuff. Great place to have Mexican style street food. It's closed Mondays. The menu is pretty limited for vegans and vegetarians.

I ordered the Tinto de Verano, and it was really good. It was a bit strong and reminded me of a sangria. For tapas, we got the #21 shrimp dish, which was packed with flavor. The combination of sauces and spices paired perfectly with the shrimp. We also ordered the #35 calamari, which was equally delicious. The calamari was light and airy, and the accompanying sauces added even more flavor. We also shared the patatas bravas, which were crispy and had a nice little kick to them. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was really enjoyable. I'd definitely come back to try more dishes!

So we came here on a random Friday night to test our luck to get a table at 7 o'clock for two people. We got lucky and got to sit inside because that's where we wanted to sit although they do have sidewalk or outdoor seating as well. I thought sitting inside would be cooler, but I was wrong as all the doors and windows were open and I don't believe the AC was on at all. Well, the menu is pretty extensive. I will say that a vegetarian could definitely eat here as well as anyone else. This is our first visit here and as you can tell from the photos ordered quite a bit of food. And typical top of style the portions are pretty small, but they are meant to be shared. It was actually too much food for two people who were already hungry. Some of the standouts were definitely the meatballs and the salad salads. The jamon iberico was absolutely incredible. Not pictured was the picture of sangria we ordered. We got the rosé and to be quite honest with all of the heat. It actually watered down way too quickly. And it also came in a plastic picture, which was a bit of a turn off. The shrimp with garlic was good, but the garlic was hard to taste because it was also covered or doused in a lot of tomato base or tomato sauce. I was really looking forward to a very clear buttery or olive oil sauce that was saturated with garlic. The mushrooms were OK as well, but again too much tomato in this dish that I'm not used to. The potatoes were also very tasty and well seasoned, and the sauce on it was just right. I think this is a good option for people who want top us in the suburbs however, I will say that I hope they do some tweaking to the recipes as well so that they have something that truly makes them stand out and unique.

This time, my husband and I decided to have a dinner date and actually dine in at the St. Charles location for the 1st time, which gave us the perfect opportunity to try a few new things along with some of our favorites. We started with the Italian Farm Salad to share and a bowl of Tuscan White Bean Soup. Such a nice touch that they split the salad onto two separate plates for us without us even having to do it ourselves. The salad was fresh and bright, and the soup was so warm, flavorful, and comforting. Our server, Izzy, was absolutely the BEST! She was so sweet, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. I wanted the Chicken Parmesan but asked if I could substitute the marinara with Bolognese for an upcharge while still getting the marinara on the side. OMG... I think I found my new favorite dish! It was SO good. I might just have to call it the "Izzy Chicken Parm" from now on because I'm not sure I'll ever be able to explain the order again and get it exactly the way Izzy put it in for me! My husband loves their Pasta Carbonara, so of course he had to stick with his usual. We also decided to try something new and ordered the wood-fired Prosciutto & Arugula pizza. After a few bites, we realized it just wasn't for us and seemed a little undercooked. We mentioned it to Izzy, and she couldn't have been nicer about it. She immediately offered to have a different pizza made for us and even offered to box up the first one for us to take home. We ended up switching to the Pear & Caramelized Onion pizza, which we've had before and already know we enjoy. So our dinner ended up being the perfect mix of trying something new and sticking with a few favorites. We absolutely love the food at GIA MIA, but Izzy's wonderful service made this visit especially memorable. We'll definitely be back for another dinner date--and we'll absolutely continue ordering delivery too! And Izzy, if you see this... I'll be back for my "Izzy Chicken Parm!" :-)
