This is a pretty sizable restaurant with a bar along half of one wall and plenty of tables of varying sizes that can accommodate whatever you throw at them. There is ample lighting and the staff is welcoming and friendly. The food is BBQ and they have a little bit of everything to offer. That is great, but makes it hard to choose what you want! We certainly had that problem but ultimately were very happy with our meals. They pretty much cover all the bases as far as BBQ and the sides. The flavors were very tasty! First time at Nobel House in a LONG time and after today I'm not too sure why because this place is awesome (it was awesome before too though). I think the last time I visit was before the renovations. Inside feels much more spacious and the menu feels more well rounded white a few more healthier options to choose from. I opted for the BYOB with grilled salmon. At first, it looked pretty small but the portion size was just perfect where I felt full but not overly stuffed. Thought we give Noble another shot, post visi from anniversary where we ordered drinks to start and didnt know if we were dining or not, was asked a few times in the case of dine or leave attitude. Today, 5/30, we had a large part celebrating a birthday. Resturant half empty. Kelli our waitress, not the most pleasant. A toddler spilled water and ice, the eye rolling and the other waitress gossip while looking at our table. Not appreciative. To flag Kelli down, was a full time job. For bar food the quality of meat was very unexpected and it's because they age their meats and smoke them to prepare your meal. It was packed when we got there for dinner and a little loud but not to the point that we had to yell to converse. It is a bar restaurant so it's what you expect with a lot of high chairs and tables, a bar and tvs. The service was ok. There were only two positives about our experience; Kim who waited on us was very good and the smoked chicken wings. One note about the wings, nice flavor but if you prefer your wings spicy none of their sauces have heat. My wife ordered the chopped salad which came with smoked chopped chicken. The salad greens were average but the unacceptable thing was she found one bone and one piece of gristle in her chopped chicken. I ordered the 2 meat/2 sides dinner. I chose brisket, pulled pork, mac & cheese and onion rings. The smoked brisket had an off taste to it. Almost like the meat was on the verge of being spoiled. The M/C was subpar. The pulled pork was tender but didn't have much flavor. The best part of the dinner was the onion rings. It wasn't coated in the honey garlic sauce as much as last time. I also tried their side Mac and cheese last time and it was delicious. It was super creamy and rich, but not overpowering. Hanging out on a recent evening, we checked out this nice but expensive bar and grill. It was a pretty sweet place except for the high prices on most stuff and the lack of affordable vegetarian items. Nobel House has a couple locations with this one being in Geneva in downtown where most stuff is going on. Gets pretty busy but it's never been anything crazy. They have pretty expensive food but rather than being upscale, it feels more like a casual sports bar than anything fancy. First thing we got were the drinks. It had some interesting ones except for the high prices. They have a quite limited happy hour and not that many things on either the drink or food menus are on special. Knowing this, it took awhile to choose something, and then we got the cheapest stuff that also sounded good. There was limited choices for sure. I had a Geneva Mule. It's $10 for a cocktail that comes in a typical copper mug, which was kind of a lot but still pretty good though. This is made with Tito's Vodka, and has ginger beer, ginger liqueur, and lime like a typical version. It surely wasn't bad tasting. She had some kind of wine. For the food I suggested getting the Build Your Own Bowls. It's $16 each. These have a choice of meat or vegetables, and a choice of a sauce. Each of us got it with vegetables and the adobo lime. Fairly good except there could have been more, especially for how much these cost, which is a lot. They also have veggie burgers but veganness is questionable and they're also expensive so we passed on these. Good things to drink and eat. My family and I are looking to order from curbside restaurants only, and since on Google Noble House says this option is available, we were excited to eat their food again. While I believe that is part of the cost of doing business and it is wrong to pass it on this way, the problem is that it was never disclosed upfront. Came here on a Saturday night around 6 o'clock knowing that they don't take reservations. We expected more people here, but it wasn't as crowded as we expected. To sit inside there was a 20 minute wait or we could be seated outside without waiting. We were seated on the back patio.
