1/2 stack regular pancakes with banana
    Sara T.

My Dad and I have made this a regular Sunday stop. Everything is so good. Service is excellent. The pancakes (pictured) are SO good. The server will always recommend a short stack - and there is no way anyone could finish a regular stack but if you like left overs go for the full stack. I have also tried French toast - also excellent. Last weekend I tried a BLT. It came with soup which I didn't think I'd eat since it is so hot but man was it good! I'd go back just for the soup! The BLT and fries were great. This is definitely a gem. We used to go to Lums when it was on Rt 64 in StC when I was really young (think it's the same).

Holy frijole! Yummmmmmmmmmmm. This place satisfies. I found them through yelp and stopped in for breakfast with my wife. What a beautiful diner! Staff was excellent! And the food! My vegetables were fresh and they were so flavorful. The sausage was so good and added to the scrambler. Pancakes were on point! You have to visit this place! So good! Oh and when you leave, they refresh and refill your coffee in a to go cup! You're welcome!

Breakfast here was wonderful! The dining room is big and clean and coronavirus safety panels and sanitizer are present. Our server was really polite and helpful, as were other staff. Coffee was bottomless, warm enough and decent but not flavorful. We ordered nutella-banana crepes and peach crepes, with a side of fresh fruit and a size of breakfast sausages. The crepes came two per order and they were massive and stuffed filled with cream cheese and the other fillings, with fresh whipped cream on top. The crepes themselves had the right slightly chewy go with gently pan-fried exterior. They were fantastic! The side of fruit was also a large portion with fresh pineapple, honeydew and watermelon. The side of breakfast links came with three and they were not the typical skinny links. In fact, these were more flavorful and plump. Prices were a little high but we were stuffed for the rest of the day amd brought home leftovers.

Spinach, cheddar cheese and ham omelette with potatoes....sorry I started eating so fast I didn't take a picture before I jumped in lololol

Wednesday morning....aka hump day and I'm in a Zoom meeting and starving!!!! I've tried a couple places in my area for work for breakfast and something always didn't quite hit the mark, so I tried out Lume's as several coworkers have raves about them. Lumes has showed up and showed out. I door dashed their Denver Omelette and substituted the onion and green peppers for cheddar cheese and spinach...and I chose the potatoes option. The potatoes is what I was going to judge the whole meal on as my previous experience were always soured by dry potatoes or burnt hashbrowns. Lumes snapped!!!! Potatoes were perfectly cooked, seasoned and complimented my delicious omelette perfectly. I turned off my video in the zoom and went to town!!! Thank you Lume's for saving my morning!!

Plastic utensils, not sure how I feel about that but I get it , COVID-19

This place had good food and Karen was a very good server. Cute Greek style establishment, mom and pop shop. Our waitress, Karen was awesome! Karen is far from a "Karen". She was great on refills for water and my decaf coffee. She noticed I liked the French vanilla creamer and brought me more. Dallas omelette (minus the jalapeño) fluffy style was delicious. I prefer shredded hash browns but these were ok. The wheat toast was buttered. My friends Belgium waffle was good. She's picky about the batter and said she really liked the batter. Not keen on the plastic utensils but it makes sense, COVID. Plexi glass was up separating the booths. Social distancing was being practiced. We did visit on a Monday morning at 8am so not busy at all. All staff wore masks.

George and his lovely wife are welcoming and cordial. Always glad to see you and always remember me from previous visits. The food is always great and there is a very extensive menu with plenty of breakfast and lunch choices. The wait staff is friendly and the decor is attractive. I always come back. I've been coming to Lumes since 2003

I joined the Senio Breakfast club of Geneva and Batavia today for brunch. I have not been to this restaurant for a few years. As I enter I am reminded of a restaurant meeting the needs of middle and older aged people. The food is safe and plentiful. It is not over or under cooked and not spiced. One of the bonus items of the restaurant is their use of egg beaters. The wait person was superb as she remembered everyone's order. The cashier was gracious. If you need a place with American food, try it out.

I'm so glad they are open. Right next to Trader's Joe after shopping with my friend we stopped for brunch. Outside seating, simple, delicious food and friendly service

This was our first and last time here.. I had to give two starts because the service was really good, our waiter was really nice, but the food was bad. This is the picture of the omelette with two pieces of American cheese that wasn't even melted, really really bad. The coffee was so bad it tasted like water, the pancakes were not fresh, and the toast was soak in butter.. I paid $50 for 3 people, not a good breakfast.

Great service and food. The Florentine Breakfast and special order omelet were fabulous! Would highly recommend!

Ample portions, quick service, a very large menu of choices for everyone and a kids menu. That's all you need from a breakfast shop.

The previous time I came was post-comedy show, just for drinks, and the 3 of us all enjoyed our drinks then, as well. We were greeted by Ian our server immediately which was very nice. We noticed they have Happy Hour Tues-Fri from 4-6pm so we took advantage of their half off cocktails and a few food specials. I had the Wisconsin Old Fashion and my wife had the Poli Old Fashion which was tequila based. Both were fantastic! We started with an order of their Street Corn Deviled Eggs which were amazing..super creamy. They do have a GF menu so my wife had a bowl of their homemade chili and I had their Italian Beef Bao trio. Both were delicious and very meaty. They have an extension whiskey/bourbon list plus their burgers looked amazing. We will definitely be back!

The menu is extensive but all of the breakfast and lunch offerings are straightforward basic diner food, with nothing trendy or inventive beyond a smattering of Tex-Mex items. Kudos to our server for providing friendly and efficient service, but our meals were underwhelming. The soups of the day were chicken noodle and navy bean. Both looked exactly alike, except that the former contained noodles. Now, I love navy bean soup, but theirs was thin and watery, and I counted fewer than 10 beans lurking in my cup. My Philly steak wrap was no less disappointing. The meat was tough, overcooked and dryish. There appeared to be more wrap than filling. My Missus ordered the "Papa Sampler." From the menu description this sounded like a take on Denny's Grand Slam breakfast, offering various egg, meat and starch options. Generous portions? I'm afraid not. The smallish blobs of food on the single plate ranged from unexceptional to ordinary (except for the turkey sausage patty, which was inedible); and "Papa" surely would have balked at receiving only one small biscuit.

I informed our server that I have celiac disease, and she was helpful in confirming that the cocktails were gluten-free. I ordered the Pineapple Express sangria, and it was absolutely delicious. When it comes to the food, most items on the menu can actually be made gluten-free, but they aren't marked on the menu and they do not offer a separate gluten-free menu. Our server did let us know right away that they were out of three of their entree items. For my meal, I started with the gluten-free soup which comes with gluten-free noodles, and it was really good. However, I didn't really like any of the remaining entrees they had left available, so I decided to order sides instead. The server mentioned that most of the sides are or can be made gluten-free. I chose the creamy mashed potatoes and the brussel sprouts, specifically requesting the sprouts without croutons. When the food arrived, the brussel sprouts unfortunately had croutons on them. I pointed it out to the server, and she immediately said she would have them remade for me. While I am very glad I caught the mistake before eating them, it is something to watch out for. Overall, the experience was mediocre.
