So we had a group of 11. It is a smaller place and doesn't easily seat larger groups. But we managed to pull a few tables together and it worked out. If you have a larger group I would suggest coming a little later in the day. They were pretty busy. They have a lot of choices for a small diner. I had a build your own skillet and they nailed my eggs. I ordered my eggs over medium. And that is a tricky egg. Everyone in the group seemed to enjoy the food. The wait staff was courteous and got with that large of an order she double checked to make sure we had everything- we were missing an order of pancakes, but that was easily fixed. Great local place to grab something to eat. Menu covers breakfast and lunch. Honestly, I have only ordered various breakfast items which are always top notch. Best omelette around not overly large but the ingredients you choose are abundant and tasty. Crispy hash browns just add to the great experience. The food is good but the service has really gone downhill over the past few years. We generally come with a large group (big family!) and understand that it takes some time to be seated. But they act like it's a huge inconvenience, which is not welcoming and sets a bad tone right away. Today, we were not given menus but waitress was ready to take our order? They ran out of orange juice and apparently had to go get it? A few drinks were forgotten. Just really inattentive service. Brought 1 order out at a time- with a party of 8, this meant my food was basically cold before I could eat with my family. The restaurant is small and cramped, very loud due to the open ceiling. Will probably still keep coming for now because the food is good, but their current service issues will unfortunately ruin this place. read more

Briana's quickly became a family favorite because of their excellent breakfast menu and great food. On my last visit however, I found that they had significantly raised their prices and apparently no longer offer free refills on the soda. At $3.50 a 'pop', that's too rich for my blood. We were looking for somewhere to east after a race and found this place on Yelp. There were some negative reviews for slow service but we didn't experience that at all! We were seated right away at a booth. Our server was Victoria. She was fast, kind, helpful, and friendly. I ordered the California omelet and my husband ordered a skillet. The food came out quickly and was cooked well and delicious. I don't have a baby but I'm sure moms with babies will appreciate that there is a full changing table in the ladies restroom. read more

Met family for breakfast and was super impressed. The restaurant was very clean. Service was impeccable. I ordered the German Benedict and side of pancakes. I have gone here about 10-15 times in the last year and a half and I've never left this place unsatisfied. This place is pure gas

Food was great but the service was AWFUL! Waitress came to the table and asked what we wanted to drink and I replied "coffee, please". She said "I wasn't taking to you!" Then she told me they were out of cream when I asked for more. Pretty odd because I noticed creamers on the kitchen counter when we got up to leave. Guess it didn't matter because she never offered to refill our coffee. Didn't catch her name but it's really unfortunate Briana's has an employee like her. I would go back for the food but it's not worth it based on the service we received today. read more

Food is never cooked correctly and service is not the best. Last time I went in we were told we had to at 2:41 that they were closed but on every site and sign they say they are open until 3. I know it's only 15 minutes but if you want people out earlier then change your signs and close earlier. read more

Overall a pretty decent experience. Decent to say the least. Food was solid. No cheese on the burger. Maybe it was my fault, but maybe it wasnt. Denver hash didnt have the peppers. Other skillet was missing tortillas. Saddening, but we were hungry. So good time. Solid 4.67/10 experience. read more

This is a nice newer breakfast spot, in a strip mall.  The devote is typical of your modern brunch place. It is spacious with 14 booths and 8 tables.  There is also a countertop bar in the back, by the kitchen. It was busy around 12 on a Saturday when I visited.  They seemed slightly understaffed with 2-3 waitress and the hostess.  The staff was pleasant enough, but clearly just trying to keep thing rolling.  The coffee retail or lack there of is my bench mark of how much time the waitress kept running around.   Country breakfast 2 eggs, smoked sausage, hash browns and 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy.  The biscuits were light and fluffy. The gravy was light, and lightly seasoned.  Initially I was not that impressed over all.  Then I opened up the egg and got the mix with the hash browns and egg yolk.  This was the delectable combo I wanted. The eggs were perfectly cooked, hot and runny in the middle.  The hash browns were crispy and added just the right texture to the mix.  The sausage was pre cut into slivers and was amazing all on its own.   Over all, I will come back. read more

Elburn is kind of a food desert. There are two relatively decent restaurants downtown. Good but very small. There was also on larger "family" restaurant that has since closed that was mediocre and high priced, so when I saw this had opened, we had to try it. I had looked at the reviews regarding extra charges. These are they same as any other sit down restaurant we have dined at and, like most, I doubt enforced (sharing, etc.) Most restaurants have a "deluxe" and "Ala carte" versions of burgers and what not, however from the language of that review, I have to assume a teenager that may not be familiar with eating out.. The prices were inline with similar restaurants and the staff is extremely friendly. We went there about a week before this is being written, and know they had just opened. Our waitress was new, and almost forced being friendly however in an understandable and not obnoxious way for a new staff. The atmosphere is a inviting but nothing really of note. Things were brought out in a quickly manner and were hot. Overall, while we would not got a distance to come here, we would not hesitate if we were in the area looking for something to eat. read more

This is my first time here. Have been wanting to go but never had the chance til today. With that said i was sorry i waited so long. Had the german bennedict and loved it. Elburn's choices for breakfast are limited but we decided to give it a try. I ordered the Banana Nut French Toast, which was described as "our homemade Banana Nut bread". My husband and I are regular patrons of Papa G's in Elburn but we are always open to trying new places. So when we walked into Brianna's for lunch today, we were excited at the prospect of having another eatery to frequent. But I don't think this will be it. When we entered the restaurant, we were not greeted warmly; in fact, we weren't really greeted at all. The woman at the register looked a bit frazzled and it took a few minutes before she was able to grab menus and take us to our booth. No biggie. Our waitress was a young girl (18-ish?) and it was instantly apparent that she was inexperienced. She, too, seemed a little frazzled although we were there "off hours" and there was only one other table of customers in our section. She took our drink order and then we did not see her for a good 10 minutes. When I finally caught her eye, she came over and when I said we were ready to order she said, "Oh yeah...right" and it was obvious that she had completely forgotten that we were her table. I ordered the vegetarian pita and my husband got a burger plate. Both were preceded by chicken noodle soup which was very good. But my husband's soup bowl had overspilled onto the plate below and had almost no noodles in it. My soup was packed with noodles. Both of our main entrees (a little slow to arrive) were very good. Our server did stop by to check in on us but my husband still had a chunk of meat on his plate when she breezed by again and pulled the plates off the table and handed us the check. No "can I get you anything else" or "Would you like dessert?" When we paid out check on the way out, the gal was very friendly and asked us if we lived in the area and if we liked our meal. It was the first real "warm and fuzzy" we had felt and by this point, it was coming a tad too late. Bottom line....This place just opened so perhaps they need to work out the kinks. Great place for a casual breakfast. They serve other meals as well. Menu has a large selection. Food was tasty. The way the tea is served is a little odd, its served in a coffee creamer so you only get 1 cup of hot water to steep the tea bag in, but it was fine. read more

Tried Brianna's (finally) after passing it nearly every morning on the way to the Metra. My bad. Shouldn't have waited that long. Breakfast was very good, and ran the gamut of choices. I went with the Portuguese Omelet, and hubby went with Goldilocks (wait - that doesn't sound too good - but it's true). One of the nicest things I noticed was that there was not an up charge for fruit over hash browns. NICE!!! We will be back. read more

We came here this morning to meet up with my in-laws for a morning of breakfast and apple picking. The food was very good. My child had mickey mouse pancakes, I had the ham and swiss crepes with delicious hollandaise sauce and my husband had pancakes. Food was delicious, the waitress we had was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. She checked up on us regularly and fixed our wobbly table without us having to say anything. My father-in-law asked for a to-go box to take his leftovers home in and guess what?! They brought him a box and there was no charge for it. There must be a competing diner near by that apparently is banking on people believing the three 1 star reviews about them charging for to-go containers. This is a cute and tasty breakfast place.
