Ok so my review is from the Arlington heights farmers market ! I have been inside this place when it was owned by another tea place and reviewed it then . The inside still looks gorgeous and clean and the people making the teas were pleasant and prompt serving me . I had to get two and will try the others next time . The Matcha cloud was the perfect amount of sweetness and the passion fruit was so refreshing with the most delicious passion fruit flavor ! I can't wait until Saturday! read more

Activitea and Coffee is such a charming little café and quickly becoming one of my new favorite spots! They have a wide variety of drinks and desserts, so there's truly something for everyone. The ambiance is calm, cozy, and feels like the perfect place to unwind or catch up with a friend. I ordered the Peach Mango Black Tea and a slice of my favorite Carrot Cake, and both were absolutely delicious -- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but for the quality, experience, and relaxing vibe, it felt completely worth it. So happy to see one of my Wheaton Farmer's Market favs go brick and mortar! Their new space hasn't been open long but already has become a neighborhood destination. I visited on a weekday and quite a few groups were working and conversing. Their space has both an upstairs and downstairs, beautiful product displays, gorgeous architectural features, and more. I ended up ordering the Honey Lavender Latte & Blueberry Muffin. The latte had great presentation but lavender seeds weren't very edible. It was perfectly sweet and I truly tasted the flavors. The blueberry muffin definitely could have benefitted from butter and being heated up. For $4, I wouldn't get one again. Overall, this is a great spot! Some of their items can be hit or miss; but when you find something you like, its *chefs kiss*. The staff is always kind and I loved seeing the same workers here as I've seen at the market! My cousin and I stopped in on a late weekend morning and we both loved it. This space is large with 2 floors. The main floor has windows throughout while the top floor has a cozy more private feel. Activitea is beautiful and is a great spot to have a coffee/tea date, huddle up with a laptop to get work done, and/or cuddle up with a good book while enjoying their tasty drinks and food. The staff members that assisted us were helpful and friendly. Service was quick - after ordering I received my items within less than 10 mins. I wanted an ube chai however this specific drink only comes iced. The barista recommended I get a chai latte and add ube syrup since I wanted something hot. That's exactly what I did! The latte was a little too sweet for my liking but I'm glad I tried it. For my foodie treat I had the matcha cream croissant and OMGGGG it was divine. It was creamy and full of high quality matcha. We went here today and it was great. The baristas were polite and helpful. It's in a great spot, there are a lot of places to sit as well as an upstairs area to hang out in. I could see myself coming here again for more time. The matcha rose latte was good, strong rose flavor. read more

I was actually surprised how good the croissant was at Activitea. Whoever the baker is, they nailed so "chapeau" ! However, the tiramisu croissant and the hibiscus tea I had were not as good. Service was good and quick and the place looked pretty nice and clean. I would definitely go there again to try something else or have more plain croissants!!! YUM ! read more

Coffee was decent. Got the ube chai which they said they make the ube syrup in house. The coffee was good but a bit on the sweeter side. Mostly all chai flavor though. I wish I could give this place a 10 star. The place feels magnetic, and the options for different teas and recipes are very intentional. I love finding places that are knowledgeable about tea and ingredients in general. The matcha i ordered was beyond delicious and the matcha croissant was perfection not too sweet and not too earthy. I love their teas. I love the space. So, why only a 3 star review? It's the honey lavender latte. Like another review said, the amount of lavender flower/seeds being left in the drink make it inedible. I threw mine out half way through drinking it. At $6 a drink that's a waste of money. I can understand brewing lavender and using the tea to flavor this drink but putting in so many seeds that they have you feeling like you're chewing soap isn't the way to go. LOVE this place! Sue is amazing- super friendly and accommodating. Audrey is PHENOMENAL! super sweet gal. we knew her from a different coffee shop and glad she's here now! she seems much happier and loving her gig here. Rightfully so- Sue is an amazing owner! Nice ambience, cappuccino and scone were good, but the service was a different story. Walked up to the counter, barista was busy making making drinks. Waited for what seem to be a long time without her acknowledging my presence or saying she'd be with me in a minute. Finally, she came up, no customer, friendly greeting, no hello, in a totally uninterested voice just what can I get you. I love this cafe! I met the owner at the Wheaton French market, where she sells her excellent iced and herbal teas (there is always a long line, no surprise). Her hibiscus iced tea is the perfect refresher--not too sweet. She offers unique offerings with high-quality ingredients. I love her dried tea mixes, too, like rose petal tea.
