The adult food was decent, I'd mark it 3 stars normally but if you have kids, you may want to reconsider mac and cheese. $9 for 1 cup of kraft mac and cheese, no sides (although it does include a kids drink). Sorry guys, but the markup on this is insanity, if you're charging this much make it homemade or add some sides. I used to work for the owner for 20 years and hands down, he is a master at his craft! The only reason why I'm not working at this location is because it's much too far of a commute and where I'm at now is pretty awesome. Jimmy (the owner) only orders high quality products. He is very creative with fresh new entree ideas (as seen in the other review). I honestly cannot sing his praises enough. He was my boss but honestly, I have such respect and love for him like you would for a father. I pay him a visit when I'm in the area. Last time I went I had the Greek omelette. Huge and delicious! A friend and I met on Sunday morning for breakfast and were lucky enough to have Maureen as our server. She was so friendly and kind to us. We never felt rushed and, during our long visit, Maureen quietly kept our drinks refilled. When we apologized for staying so long, she assured us it was no problem and to "stay as long as we liked". What a pleasure! Most breakfast restaurants rush you through, but we felt welcomed and enjoyed our wonderful visit and breakfast. The food was delicious and cooked to order. Very varied menu with lots of different options. . Instead of just hash browns, they also offered tots, home fries or grits. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. We were there for a late breakfast and Mimosas on Wednesday. I enjoyed my Sunnyside up eggs and extra crisp bacon but those buttery hash browns were killer. Unfortunately, there was a mix up in the kitchen and although I ordered waffles, they prepared French toast. Our server brought out the French toast and offered to replace with the waffles but I didn't want to have my dining companion eat alone while I waited for my food. Considering how quickly the food came out, I was surprised that it was not even warm. When the owner came by as we were paying, I mentioned the kitchen mix up. Nothing was done to compensate for that which, after years working in restaurants, I found the most disappointing part of our breakfast. Food was delicious! Service was fantastic. And ambiance was just right. We will be back! I had the waffle with cinnamon apples, it was so large that I could only eat half and I was stuffed then. My husband had the patty melt & it was close to the best one he ever had (mine). He also had a BLT and said that was excellent almost a good as the onion rings! To start off my review, I'd like to say I eat quite a bit of food. I asked my server what the biggest portion on her menu is and she told me the taco bowl... so I ordered it thinking it would fill me up. When it arrived at my table, it was 70% lettuce, and probably 2 eggs scrambled with some ground beef. My table was dirty and there was a wait for two people although there were empty tables for us to be seated everywhere. The restaurant itself was a little gross, I saw crumbs all over the floor and the assumed owners were quick with little care for the customers. Service was inconsistent and slow. They were slow to take our orders and bring out the food. Also they missed 2 of our drinks initially. When it came time for the food, it wasn't complete and we had to ask for a salad and pancakes that was ordered. And the crepes never had the whip cream we asked for. When we were done and asked for boxes, it took forever. And the food was ok at best. The place had five people in it. We have been coming to this location for years. Looks like new name and wait staff but owner looked familiar. Service was professional and prompt. You now pay your tab at the table no waiting in line at the counter to pay. They have a new menu with some different unique items.
