You get what they have. They have this really salty thin dough that probably has very little levener in it. Then they put it on a counter before you (behind a glas divider of course) and you tell them what you want on it. The employee will scoop controlled portions of food that comes in bags, jars, and other formats one would expect to find ultra-processed foods in. Then they bake it all up for you! It's basically a saltine cracker with stuff you could get at your local grocery store on top! Is it good? No. Is it edible? Yes. Is it fast? Certainly. Is it worth the money? No. It is not. You can go to many better places and get a meal for less than or as much as an 11 inch pizza from Mod. We absolutely love MOD pizza and go to, or order delivery from the Wake Forest location at least twice a month!! The pizza is always fresh, prepared perfectly and delicious. The salads are good too. The service is always great and I love to customize my pizza exactly how I want it. They have plenty of seating inside and outside and the vibe is cool. I love the pictures of people on the one wall. This place is good for what it is- fast/cheap pizza. Came here recently for the first time. I am from NY and have had my share of amazing pizza. This will not be that. If you know that it wont be that, then its not bad. We tried three different varieties of their pizza and the cheese bread. This is a very thin crust and very little cheese place. I ordered extra cheese on my pizza when I saw how little was going on it. The pizza was good for a quick meal on a busy night. MOD is a good place to stop in for lunch. They are quick and offer a simple menu to create salads and thin crust oven baked pizza. It's like the Subway of pizza, so to speak. You go through the line and choose your ingredients. Each item is priced by size, which is great if you like the works! I love that they just added shredded Brussels sprouts to their options! I like their house-made teas and lemonades (try the marionberry lemonade). They also offer a few beers and canned wines which is unexpected. I've yet to try their milkshakes but they sound good! Ok why three stars? I've been quite a few times and lately it seems it's not being kept quite as tidy as when it opened. It can get very busy and it's very family friendly so I'm sure it's tough to keep up with, but it's noticeable. Next, not their fault but the parking is not adequate. And don't even try to turn left back onto Rogers road! It keeps me from going more often on my work lunch break. The staff is always very nice. read more

Second visit today - decided to create my own salad. The two gentleman at the counter were very friendly, both greeted me when I walked in. I was the only customer in there but I was eating lunch late. The lettuce looked very wilted, like it had been sitting out a long time. I mentioned it to the employee and he ran to the back and got fresh lettuce, much appreciated! I added bacon, pepperoni, feta, Asiago, diced tomatoes, and mushrooms. I chose the honey lime dressing on the side (they will toss it for you if you like). Reason for three stars again - I just didn't find enough choices that I personally like to add to my salad. They do have other salad "fixins", but they were not items I would eat (marinated artichokes, sausage, etc). I grabbed an unsweetened black tea as well and the tea was quite good. If you aren't as picky as I am, this might be the place for you. I don't think I'd visit here again, just based on limited options (I don't eat pizza crust any longer). ake out | Dinner I tried Modd pizza for the first time last week. My family liked us so much that we decided to order it today on pi day. However, my order was messed up, but I did not realize until I got home. When I called the restaurant up, they were very apologetic and accommodating. I asked if they remake the one out of the two pizzas that were messed up. When I got there not only had they remade the one pizza they had remade my whole order! Normally pizza is supposed to have fresh toppings. But as you can see below in the picture...the mushrooms are not fresh. During COVID times you need all the sales you can get. That means providing decent products. Are they not busy that their products are sitting there until it goes bad? If the mushrooms are being delivered this way by your suppliers, then you should return them. Definitely not satisfied with this location. read more

We went in for their grand opening today. Everyone screams hello to you when you walk in. The menu is pretty simple. They have three different sizes. It's kind of like chipotle or moes but for pizza. They have a list of classic recipes or you can build your own. We chose the Lucy sunrise and the calexico. I added ricotta cheese to the Lucy. We paid and then waited for our pizza. It only took a few mins for them to be done cooking the pizza. The food was cooked perfectly. The crust is thin, so it's crispy but still chewy. It's kind of like flatbread. Their dough is organic. They also offer gluten free dough! Everyone was really friendly and helped explain the entire concept. They have house made lemonades and teas that look really yummy. This is a great way to get a decent pizza fast. You come in, and order it 'subway style' meaning pick your crust, pick your sauce, and point and grunt at what toppings you want. It comes out pretty quickly from a giant brick oven and that's probably it's best point. one of those quick cook turn it a few times and pull it out style cooks. they have other salad options for the non-pizza bread inclined which I haven't tried, but I've seen a few on the tables and they look sizeable and with the wide variety of ingredients you should be able to make some pretty good salads. For the choice paralyzed there are pre-built menu options you can order as well. read more

Customer service was great and they have kind people, but they missed two of my favorite ingredients on pizza. The jalapeños and pepperoni. However, if you want to create your full pizza yourself you do have that option as well. They have so many ingredients to choose from and everything is always so fresh. Upon entering the restaurant you are always warmly greeted. Staff always ensures that you are promptly assisted. This visit I took my brother for the first time and the young lady took the time to explain to him. We come after soccer practice a lot always eat outdoors on the patio when it's nice out. The pizza is thin crust. Great selection of pre-chosen toppings or you can make your own. They also offer salads. My favorite is the Mad dog and I add spicy chicken sausage and pineapples with bbq swirl. The minis are perfect sized for a child and the regular "Mod" is perfect for most adults... I will say I made the mistake of getting the double crusted pizza once...
