The Missus and I have been stopping by the Culver's off Rogers Road for a few years now and are never disappointed. The service is always top notch, the food delicious, and the prices are comparable to elsewhere. I tried a limited time burger on a pretzel bun with some pretzel bites and a mixer. Everything was beyond delicious. We love making Culver's our once a week order out meal. After this past trip, Culver's makes it back to the top choice list. Cannot say enough about this spot. The food itself isn't the issue -- it's the customer service that left a bad taste. I ordered the Buttery Parmesan Chicken sandwich with no tomato. What arrived at my table was a burger, completely wrong order, tomato included. When I brought it to the counter to have it corrected, instead of a simple apology and a swap, I was met with interrogation. A staff member began asking me to essentially prove that my order was wrong, requesting a specific part of the packaging before she'd agree to fix it. She then walked back to our table with me to inspect the receipt and my family's food for herself. I've never in my life had to prove that a restaurant made an error on my order in order to get it corrected. I was polite and even smiled when I took the receipt and the wrong order back to the counter and asked for a correction. The person who responded instantly made me a suspect. I guess, I forgot what part of the South I was in. The correct sandwich did eventually arrive, but by that point the experience had already soured the meal entirely. This is going to cover many trips to the Wake Forest location. A few years back, I got annoyed because they gave me the wrong burger, they contacted me and gave me coupons for a couple of free burgers or combos, they then gave me the wrong burger again. I gave up on them for a while, but 4 of the 6 of us love the crispy fries (yes, I know they're frozen), we enjoy the smash burgers, and find the staff to be friendly. My 11-year-old granddaughter gets any burger plain, just the cheese, meat, and bun, and she LOVES them, my daughter gets the Butter Burger Deluxe, and I switch around, with the mushroom Swiss being one of my favorites. This place gets a 5 not based solely on the food, but the staff, and the owners. If you're not a flat burger fan, people seem to love the fish...........maybe one day I'll get around to trying the chicken! read more

We spent $48 to dine out tonight. My PLAIN Double cheeseburger combo, 2 other combos for my adult kids, and my wife's PLAIN chicken sandwich. So we have 2 items that they spent zero money on condiments. My wife wanted a BBQ sauce to put on her chicken sandwich. That's all. One damn BBQ sauce. NOOOOO that will have to be an extra charge for that! We didn't get anything credits for the PLAIN sandwiches. We don't want a dozen extra condiments. No, just one damn BBQ sauce. We eat out at Culver's at least once a week. We eat at other fast food places too. Not ONE of them charges her for one damn BBQ sauce. So if you don't care about your customer relationships any more than that then I guess I'll just keep my $2400 per year I spend at Culver's ($48x50 weeks) any give it to some other area restaurants that dont nickel and dime me to death for ONE DAMN BBQ SAUCE! read more

Culver's has decent food, especially for a chain restaurant! I like their burgers, buffalo chicken tenders, and frozen custard. I placed my order in the app for CurbSide pickup and it was brought right out to my car as soon as I checked in. We were excited to eat here and drove 45 min to get there. When we walked in, my spouse and I looked at each other in shock, the SMELL of old grease and dirty carpet hits you in the face like a punch. It was revolting. We almost left but decided to eat outside. Honestly, how can management not notice that smell?! It really put us off and with the average service, average food (small fries was really SMALL), and high prices, overall we were really disappointed. Then the message was they were trying to get the Wake Forest location to contact me. The whole company seems to be a mess and needs to work on their customer service. This was the second location we went to during the week trip to NC. Everything was still really good (except they forgot the condiments on my burger so it was dry). Occasionally, I want to get a fish sandwich from a fast food restaurant without waiting for certain times of the year. After watching a YouTube video about comparing various fast food fish sandwiches, the top one was Culver's. I figured I'd have to try it as I didn't realize they had fish on the menu. They actually have a cod fish sandwich all year around and a walleye sandwich that is more seasonal. The first time I tried their fish, I had the cod sandwich. Wow, I was very impressed. They don't overly process their fish. You get a piece of a filet, not ground-up fish. The fish was very flaky. The breading was nice and crunchy. There was a good breading to fish ratio, where the fish exceeds the amount of breading by a large amount (I like that!). The size of the piece of fish was large. The only thing I would ask for is a little more salt on the fish (thought I'd NEVER say that about a fish sandwich!). Cod itself does not have a lot of flavor to me, so I think a bit more salt could have brought out more of the flavor the fish had. Not to worry though, you can get lemon slices if you like. The buttered bread/bun had a nice texture, not dry, but it is thick. They toasted it on one side so you got a bit of caramelization. It also came with shredded cheddar cheese, tartar sauce and shredded lettuce. The tartar sauce was pretty much standard in quality as other places, the lettuce was green, nice and crisp on my sandwich. The cheese was a bit underwhelming though in texture, which was a bit waxy, without much flavor. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the sandwich. To me, it's still miles better than any other fast food sandwich I've had. I forgot, I also had the onion rings. They were lightly battered and seasoned, I enjoyed them. On another occasion I tried the walleye sandwich. The preparation of the sandwich was the same as the cod sandwich except they used walleye instead of cod. Walleye has more flavor than cod and it definitely came out in the sandwich. If you like walleye, as I do, then you may want to choose that sandwich over the cod when they offer it. They also offer cod platters, with 1, 2 or 3 pieces of fish. You get a choice 2 sides and a dinner roll. I had one of the 3 piece platters and it was a LOT of food. The cost was $17, but for the amount and quality of the meal, to me it was worth it. Plus, I don't believe other fast food places offer seafood platters, at least around here. Overall, I would say if you want a fish sandwich or platter and are ok with going to a fast food restaurant, I say Culver's is the place I would go to. read more

Good food, but the prices are slightly high. Always friendly and welcome Service. We especially like it when they have the walleye.

I was visiting a friend in NC & had to stop in as there are not any Culver's in Virginia! The cheese curds are the best item in the menu! This one operated differently than I was used to. You place your order at the drive thru counter, then you pay, they give you your drink and a number. Then you drive around to the other side of the building where they bring your food out to you & take the number placard. My order was correct & fresh! read more

I was picking up food for my family and another young girl came in to pick food up. Evidently, she was an employee. A cop worker, named Mike, literally betrayed her for coming in on a Friday night when it was busy! He told her she was not allowed to come in on a busy Friday night!!! What kind of CRAP is that? She was a PAYING CUSTOMER! This place has way too many 'managers' and not enough employees!!!! After asking around, they have 6 on r seven managers!!! Their customer service skills are abhorrent! Ordered the cod meal via uber eats and was sent two hard, overcooked unbreaded pieces of (I guess) fish. Oh and they also gave me a handful of fries. Because I don't live far I took it back and the supervisor(I assume) asked the cashier "what's wrong with it?"before even looking at it. Had he opened the box he would've seen that mess. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Culver's has the best fast food burgers in the state. Then came the curderburger. It is more than just a big cheese curd placed on your burger. No, this fried cheese patty is much larger than the burger itself. And the cheese just oozes out of every bite, it's really something to behold. I have yet to find a restaurant in North Carolina with juicy Lucy burgers on the menu, so I think this might be the closest you can get to that kind of flavor sensation. Culvers is truly the best. The food is delicious, the employees are courteous, and, most importantly, it's dog friendly in the outside eating area. We came here to eat the other day and a nice young gentleman brought out our food. He saw we had a dog (Barry) with us, and immediately went inside to grab a cup with ice cold water for Barry to enjoy. We didn't even ask him to do this - he went out of his way to be accommodating. We needed up eating at Culver's because the place that I get my nails done was right up the street. I am so happy that I stopped in. I have only had Culver's ice cream so I was happy that I could enjoy lunch there with my son. The restaurant has a private parking lot with lots of parking if you don't want dine in you can go through the drive through. The restaurant is bigger than it looks like on the outside. Where you check out is the front and then the dining area is in the back. The restaurant was very clean and the drink area was really clean. I ordered from their $5 dollar menu and I ordered my son a kids meal (grilled cheese + fries). The good thing about their fries is that they make them to order so when I got them they were hot and our food was too. We enjoyed our food very much. I ended up paying around $11 for everything. They also have outdoor seating which is where we sat but there are TON of flies out there so be aware in the hotter months. The guy who brought us our food as well as the cashier was really nice and helpful. Overall good burger place, tasty food. Had never been to a Culver's. Well, we (self, wife, son and grandson) came in and left totally sold on it. Their menu is great, although we only had custard, but I would certainly come in for lunch or a snack. The portions were generous and the toppings likewise. Our sundaes were totally yummy and well worth the price. Service very friendly. They must only employ people with personality and the ability to look you in the eye while taking your orders and delivering your order to your table. Facility was immaculate. It takes about 10-15 mins so you may be better off going inside or elsewhere if in a hurry. 2. The burgers are seasoned nicely. I really enjoyed mine. 3. I wasn't a huge fan of the cheese curds.
