Newer Five Guys in the area. The usual setup, seating area, etc. It's convienent compared to where they were before, so about time they got out this way. That said, we're at a point where the cost of the place is crossing the quality. The food is good, but two people with burgers, drinks, and one fry to split was $45. One of them was a plain with cheese, so not like we added $5 in toppings. The team that works here is friendly and there are no issues with it, but my issues are more with the franchise of five guys, not the person who is running this one. I know that the corporate five guys are hosing whoever has the franchise causing these high prices because they force you to buy their overpriced stuff. So is it a good burger? sure. Are the fries good? yes. But $45 for a dad and a daughter they're not THAT good. read more

I had ordered Five Guys for the first time here in Wake Forest and was pretty disappointed. I made an online order for pickup and when I came in at the time I was told, they hadn't made the food yet. The employees were more concerned about some party they were debating on going to than greeting me. It was another 10+ minute wait and honestly, I don't think I'll be coming back after this visit. The restaurant was clean and spotless and the food was good! But customer service goes a lot way, especially if you're paying a lot for a cheeseburger. read more

Second visit to this newly opened store. They've now had time to iron out the grand opening wrinkles and the crowds have shrunken to normal levels. Service at the register is friendly and efficient. Every seat in the restaurant was full at my weekday lunchtime visit and it took about 10 minutes from order to service. About the same as every other Give Guys I've ever visited. Food was prepared exactly as ordered. Food tasted exactly as it should - delicious! The condiments and peanuts were well stocked. Tables and floor clean. If you're interested in a sizable burger, cooked to order and custom dressed plus a double-sized order of store-cut (not frozen) fries fried to golden perfection then don't gripe about the price. Five Guys is not inexpensive. If you want the value menu, stick to McDonald's. read more

Well, food was good but I think I was too expensive. 1 adult burger, 2 kids burgers, 1 fries, 2 shakes for almost $60 I think it is a bit much. There are many places where I can get better burgers for the same price. Other than that ambiance was fine. Free peanuts were nice. read more

Franchise owner needs to perform retraining: - how can a new restaurant that still isn't a high traffic location be so filthy. The dining area was filthy. And the trash can (by the condiments) smelled horrible - the burger orders were simple but neither of our orders were prepared correctly - I understand that we were an off-hours order (non-lunch/dinner). But the staff there had ample opportunities to address these concerns. And it was only addressed when manager on duty told them. And the effort was minimal. This location is in an "up and coming" area. And I would say the quality of this experience would be what you'd expect if it shared a roof with an interstate gas stop. read more

Okay so this spot just opened about two weeks ago and I finally had time to stop by today for lunch. And let just start out by saying the service was good, the woman who took my order was great, she had good energy and she's the only reason I am giving this 3 stars. I simply got a cheeseburger, fries and a drink and it was $20, which is wild. One of the drink machines is already broken, and again they just opened so that's crazy . And the place just feels dirty, like I didn't see anything particular to point out or describe, but it didn't feel clean if that makes sense. When I ordered food online to go, my fries were a bit soggy by the time we got home, so I went to dine in instead. This time my fries were delicious, as was my burger. I don't eat a ton so my meal wasn't super expensive - I got a small fry and small burger. Overall, I liked it and will go back. All the negative reviews surprised me! read more

Totally Disenchanted by this location. Yesterday they were suppose to be celebrating 40 years of Five Guys being in business. They were offering a BOGO. I tried repeated to order on line but their on line ordering system had been shut down by them. Tried repeatedly to call them but they wouldn't answer the phone. Drove their anyway and showed them the email I had received offering the BOGO (no time limit stated) and they REFUSED to honor the BOGO. They said it could only be placed on line but they had shut the on line service down with NO explanation! I spoke with three individuals including the manager to NO avail! I left and went to Sonic instead! I WON'T be back at this location or ANY other Five Guys! There are plenty of other places flipping hamburgers! read more

Food delicious but only one problem. I don't like that the young lady at the register hair was down to the floor. She was picking it up and putting it down back down that shouldn't be happening in the food area. All that fake hair/braids past the shoulders should not be allowed at any restaurant. That's just my opinion. This we live in and as parents why would you let your child leave out the house with all that hair to even go work at a restaurant so unsanitary. Is it possible to get my $41 back? I haven't been to Five Guys (FG) in over five years. Now I know why. Let me start with the positive first. When first entering the establishment, we were greeted by a friendly FG's cashier. He was very friendly and helpful. Also, the burgers were good. They were prepared just as we had ordered them. Now that I have stated the positive, let's move to the opportunities for improvement. While waiting for my order, I went to grab some catsup and vinegar. Both catsup dispensers were empty. I alerted one of the FG's staff who took one of the dispensers to refill (I thought). But, they didn't come back...at least for the period of time I waited. Next, when I received the order that included a large fry, the cup was 3/4 full. The pour over in the bag would not have even filled the cup. When I initially brought this to the attention of the individual who gave me my order, they shrugged their shoulders as if to say "oh well...what do you want me to do about it". So, I walked away. However, the person that was with me saw it and said there is no way we would be paying almost $8 for what we received. When she took the bag containing our order back to the initial cashier who provided great customer service, they called a manager to the front who proceeded to say that "we had been cheated" and gave us another large fry. However, when we got home and started to eat our "one meal out a week" Saturday dinner, the fries were super salty. What a waste. Next, our order included two hotdogs. They did not taste fresh at all, and they did not taste as if they were properly grilled. They needed to be grilled a little longer. Lesson learned for ordering hotdogs at a burger joint!. Another waste. I am truly disappointed. When I heard FG was going to be moving into the neighborhood, I was excited. I even commented that local Red Robin would lose a little business now that another burger joint was in the neighborhood. But, with my initial experience, I will say red Robin has nothing to worry about. I don't know if I'm willing to spend another $40+ dollars to determine if my experience was an outlier. But hopefully, someone from the establishment will read my review, speak to staff, and make some positive changes. Normally here, I would say "happy eating". But for this review, I will say "better luck next time...maybe". read more

So me and my Homie were walking 3 miles through the freaking 90° weather to get some five guys cause people say it was good. It was absolutely freaking butt cheeks. My wife and I went to the new Five Guys in Wake Forest last night. The staff were pleasant, and the food not bad, but the prices. Oh, the prices. We had one cheeseburger, one cheese hot dog, one order of fries, and two medium sized diet sodas. The tab was $29.43 and the automated credit card checkout asked for a tip on top of that. I understand the effects of inflation, but this was over the top. Far too expensive for the food that we ordered. We will not be going back any time soon. read more

Well, this is the last time I visit this place. Both time that I order my food front there, they are wrong, they keep getting my fries wrong, I order a LARGE order of fries and I keep getting SMALL. I do not know why they keep getting that wrong because in the receipt it's said LARGE Not SMALL. Second, I get my Burger with bacon, I got two small pieces of bacon and the cheese it's almost one slice. I get my Burger with lettuce, and that burger look like the are running out of letters. Onions, do the count on how many onions the burger needs to have or how many pieces of tomato the burger needs to have. Every employee needs to visit the store in Capital Blvd, they really get my order right and I really taste the onion, lettuce, tomato, the bacon and the cheese in my Burger. I spend almost $50.00 dollars on both orders, now it's clear to me to visit the store in Capital Blvd, because they will get my order right and I know I will enjoy my food. read more

Fries are the star. Milk shakes also very good. Burger pretty standard but better then most fast food.

For being a brand new restaurant this store is very very dirty. We came in at 3:45pm and there was food on all of the tables and food on the floor. Peanuts not included because they belong there. Boss lady came in and asked the 3 employees behind the counter to clean the dining room and they all looked at each other. My burger order was wrong as well. After 2 more sets of customers came in one of the employees took a wet napkin and wiped the food onto the floor and didn't sweep. Will not come back unless you get above 4 stars! read more
