While the staff were very nice, there was only one person running around managing all the tables, and my salmon salad was terrible - I specifically asked how the jalapeños were cut, so I could take them out if they were too hot - and was reassured that they were cut in coins/slices and would be easy to remove. When the salad came, they were diced super tiny and super spicy - and really difficult to remove. Also, a good part of my salad was avocado, and it was so unripe that it was crunchy! When I mentioned these concerns to the staff, the lady apologized about the jalapeños and said her niece works in the kitchen and had told her that she's been throwing away the soft avocados because that means they're not good anymore. Who has kitchen staff (especially family members) that don't even know what a ripe avocado looks and feels like?!? She did acknowledge and apologize that my salad was nothing like I had expected (or they had advertised), but did not offer any sort of a discount - although we also did not ask. As the only place with actual food in that area, we had high hopes, but sadly we will definitely NOT be back. The only reason I did not leave one star is because my husband ordered the beet salad. They have their shirts hanging on display, and one of them says "It's the buns for me", and boy oh boy is that the truth. The bun can make or break an burger and Bruno's buns are perfect. Literally I don't want my burger to end. Oh, and the fries!!! The fries were perfect, not shoe string, not waffle or wedge, but in between and seasoned to perfection. Which is their version of Carolina Style or Chili And slaw burger! They nailed it!!! Everything tasted so fresh, the bun was perfectly toasted and even had a PAW PRINT stamped on top! Their logo has dog ears so I guess the paw-print is part of their marketing. Either way it's cute! I also orders the beer battered steak fried which were hot and crispy! This was a huge plus. Too many food trucks have those basic restaurants straight cut fries that you pick up from bargain stores but this place definitely decided to stand out! The price was on par with other major burger eateries, maybe even cheaper considering you get a lot of food for the price.
