Burger was pretty great. Solid taste. I'm not typically a fan of tomato and onion on a burger but much like an in-and-out burger, it just works on this one. A bit pricey for a single cheeseburger at over $7 but if it were a $5 burger, I'd be here daily. I got a combo and the fries were super gross. If you have small kids, this probably isn't the place for you, unless you're able to spend a ton of $$ on your kid's food. Burgers were decent but there was no kids menu (making it very expensive for any families..) and the chicken sandwich was very lacking, unfortunately... pre-breaded, frozen chicken meat.. and it was just as expensive as the burgers. Poor service, unfortunately as well. We felt like we were annoying the girl at the window. The fries were not worth the $4 we paid for the small bag. Thank goodness, a real burger place that has juice in their meat. Unlike that "other" overrated flop of a sensation that came to Raleigh, 123 Burger is actually to be raved about. The patties look hand made, not your thin, round mold pressed patty. New business in Town we have passed by a few times and finally stopped for lunch. Very simple menu of burgers and fries. They claim never frozen meat and talo used to cook fries. Decor is very simple and clean with booths around walls, open 2 top and 4 top tables and an elevated counter at exterior windows. There is some seating outside. We ordered a single patty and a doulble patty combo. Order came out in good time, nice and hot. Burgers come with typical vegie fixin's. Patties are good in size and everything tasted good. Staff were friendly. Value is so,so. Our check came to $25 for a single burger, a double burger, one fry and one refillable soda. read more

Going to have to real about this place, it's trying to occupy a space that it just isn't competing with. The burger is alright, not a lot of flavor but not bad. Not a lot of options either, lettuce tomato and onions plus sauce are it. We also got the chicken sandwich and spicy chicken sandwich. Chicken sandwich didn't have a lot of flavor either, spicy chicken sandwich had decent taste but amounted to basically a large chicken tender. Fries could have been fried more, not memorable either. Only available sauces are ketchup and homemade ranch and 123 sauce. Has a vibe kind of like Cali burger on Hillsborough but doesn't come close. read more

The menu is simple: burger and chicken sandwich, tenders, fries, drinks and shakes. A double cheeseburger is only $9. Fries cooked in beef tallow. Shakes made fresh. Chicken marinated and breaded in house. Burgers and toppings are all very fresh. It tastes like homemade in a fast food setting. This is definitely not fast food in the sense of processed food. We have eaten here at least 3 times in the past month. On our first trip through the drive-thru, we were a little concerned because it didn't move as fast as regular "fast food" places. When we got our food, we realized this wasn't fast food. My burger was fresh and delicious, tasting as if it had just come off the grill. The chicken tenders were large, juicy, and piping hot. We were happy to find out that our first experience was their normal standard. The quality has been excellent every time we have eaten at 123 Burger. I went through the drive-thru to get a cheeseburger last night at the Garner location. I have been several times since it opened and I will have to say it's hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had even including from these nice walk in restaurants. A little pricey for just a cheeseburger but so delicious and freshly made while you wait and the wait is not long at all. Tasteless...fries were bland...spartan menu... not worth the high prices. Employees were disengaged... They have a sign up that says if you are allergic to anything (including shellfish) be warned. The fries were okay, the seasoning taste like Bojangles and made me wish I was eating Bojangles instead of wasting $30 of mediocrity. For me the fries were overcooked ... very dry. I am usually one not to put anything but salt on my fries and only use Ketchup if I have to. I had to salt these and if I could of I would used Ketchup (was driving). I got a double combo with a chocolate milkshake. The milkshake was nothing to write home about... kind of lame on flavor. Burger was not too bad. Sadly, I cant recommend this place. This all cost me like $19. Burgers were OK, needed seasoning along with the fries. Customer Service was not good, cheese was put on my burger, even though I had said I didn't want cheese. The day I was there they had IT issues with the drive-thru. I went inside and the staff was very nice and friendly. My food was made in a timely fashion and I took it to go. They have computers to place your order if there are a lot of customers at the counter. Seating area looked clean and adequate. I live 15 minutes from the restaurant, so I didn't eat my food until I arrived home. The food was very good and satisfied my desire for a good burger. I would recommend 123 Burger. read more

Hamburger & fries were very good. Better than In n Out burgers, which I've had a lot of. I'd drive from chapel Hill to est their burgers.
