Plenty of parking Very Friendly people working- Go in fill out order slip pay at counter or where you order. The place is pretty small- a couple of round tables and a wall that has a counter running down it with about 7 seats. No restroom. I watched the cook make the sandwich while I waited. I have been coming to Steve's for 20 years, although its been about a year since a visit. I went today and am wondering if ownership has changed. The service was great and fast.... Clean atmosphere, and fresh food. However, the wonderful chili that I and my friends always loved on our red hot dogs is changed! Not the same and has a green pepper taste. Always consistent. I think management has changed, but the food and service with a smile has not. You fill out paper slips of what you want to order, or use the kiosk, then you pay. It's usually about ten minutes before the food is ready. They are also on Door Dash and may be the only place I've ordered Door Dash from that got it right. Clean, efficient, superb customer service and good quality food? Can't go wrong choosing this place for your morning or afternoon meal. Just get there before they close at 5pm. read more

Stumbled upon Steve's place as I was waiting for Hobby Lobby to open and I am so glad I did! I was craving a breakfast sandwich but still being new to the area I wasn't sure what was around that may fit the bill. It looks like they are primarily known for their hotdogs but their breakfast sandwich was quite delicious. When you walk in you go to the left and fill out the slip for what you want to order, being the slip up to the register and then they will cook it right up for you! I haven't seen too often the option to add a hashbrown to a BEC but it was a solid choice! Now that I know they have good food I can't wait to try the hotdogs that they are known for! read more

This place is a scam - just paid including tip $10 for what they called a Nathan's all beef 1/3 lb hot dog and you could tell it wasn't Nathan's right away - color was a nasty gray and taste and texture was not Nathan's. Also the dog was not one dog on a bun it was one regular hot dog with part of another hot dog added on- ridiculous!!! Paid for cheese and it was left off too! You couldn't even taste chili there was so little put on it! I rarely ever post reviews but this place was such a rip off it needs to be known by the public to stay away. read more

Visited Steve's place mid-afternoon on a Friday and had a little difficulty finding it in the shopping center. Just look for the hot dogs! They were doing a fairly steady business. The woman at the counter was very kind, welcomed me, and allowed me time to review the menu. I ordered two hot dogs (chili, mustard, slaw) and struggled with the list of sides because they all looked good. Ultimately I went with the deviled eggs. My food was ready quickly and I stood at one of the high top tables they have available. I watched other folks come in and place their order using sheets of paper at the entrance. I missed that. Whoops. The dogs were great. Good spice to the chili and generous with the mustard. Only thing would have made them better is a toasted bun. The deviled eggs were great too. To wash it all down, I had their lemonade and it was perfect (especially when I mixed it with sweet tea for my refill). Friendly people and tasty food. Give a visit to Steve's Place. read more

Yum!! Everything you want from a deli. Everything was delicious. The deviled eggs are bussin. My ADHD made it really hard to pick one thing off the menu. The ordering system is paper tickets. And this place is always packed. But that's a great thing. It's so yummy! They have the red hotdogs here which are the only kind I like. The ambiance is exactly what you'd think of if you think busy beach shack with no tables. There are tables outside. Literally anyone will find something on their menu. 10/10 read more

A really good friend told me about this place that has been here for over 16 years, but the new owners just took over a little over a month ago. They have great options, whether you want hot dogs, a sandwich, soup or salad! I love hot dogs so I had 2 chili cheese hot dogs, a small side of potato salad and lemonade...all that, only $8. I met Tammy, one of the awesome owners, as soon as I walked in. She greeted me with a huge smile and welcome and gave me the run down on what my options were. My food was ready rather fast and it was so delicious. It was a beautiful day out, so I sat outside. There are high top table to stand at inside as well. I can't wait to come back and try a sandwich. Aww man we really wanted to like this place more than we did. It wasn't bad, but we didn't love it either.. We went for lunch last week... I ordered a couple hot dogs - one with chili & cheese (my go-to), and one with chili, spicy mustard, slaw, red onion jam, and I added hot sauce. My gf ordered the chicken salad sandwich. Everything was fine, we will probably come back at some point, but we weren't blown away. Everything tasted kind of sweet to me.. I think maybe their chili is sweet. Also, their slaw was really sweet which I don't prefer. The best part is the inside of the restaurant, in my opinion. I like the standing only tables and the old Andy Griffith & 3 Stooges pictures. I also like the hats hanging from the ceiling.. would like to hear the story behind that one day. My gf mentioned that it looked like it would be a good breakfast type place. I recommend you to order the kielbasa hotdog, it was tender and juicy. The red hotdog was good as well. I like how the toppings are not overwhelming. It's straight to the point and packed with flavors. I also love how there are a variety of sides to choose from. I chose the pasta salad and it was as fantastic choice! We used to come here at least once a week for the salads...then, they stopped carrying them. Such a shame because those salads were delicious. I haven't been here in quite some time. Their hot dogs are pretty decent and their sandwiches are good as well. My husband used to rave over their macaroni salad....the good old days. When I went in today, the place was empty which is odd because there is usually a line despite the time of day. The weather is yucky and the lunch rushed has probably passed so maybe it is not an omen. However, I was shocked and disappointed to see a health score of 91 posted on the wall (since January).
