We randomly were craving hot dogs today while we were out and about, found this place on google and are SO happy we did. The owner, Mr. Simmons, is an incredibly kind man who walked us through the menu and let us try the chili they put on the hot dogs (which his wife makes from scratch). I ordered a beef Carolina style dog and the Uptown picnic dog with the signature turkey chili, and man, I could have eaten 20, they were the perfect hot dogs. We enjoyed a game of pool and the music and ambiance was cool! We will ABSOLUTELY be coming back, not just because of the delicious hotdogs but also because I will always patron a location with quality ownership. read more

You can get a frank with all the fixings, play a little pool, have a cocktail or two and from what I saw you can do a little two step, on the platform. The owner, D, brought that uptown swag to the south. I had a beef frank with , red onions, sauerkraut, spicy brown mustard, coleslaw and the house potato salad. It was fresh and delicious!!! I was served by Danii. She's was courteous, pleasant and professional. The bomb. Just took my mother-in-law. She had the New York Style Dog because she said New York Style is all she knows, lol. Never again the hot dog look like they have been on the roller forever I asked for onions on both they gave me what look like a teaspoon on each dog I could barely taste the onion.Why be so stingy with the onion that is absolutely ridiculous especially for 2 dogs 1 was with chili and one was just regular a drink and a baby size bags of chips which cost over $10.00 The hotdogs are small something that I can make at home and much better with the correct amount of onion better off going to Costco for some good hotdogs and a drink for $1.50 read more

Upon a recommendation from the owner, I indulged in 3 masterpieces topped with chili, onions and potato salad, and it was pure bliss. Every bite was a flavor explosion. The atmosphere is fantastic and I most certainly will be visiting again and telling everyone to do so as well! Hot dog lovers I recommend you check this place out. My (1) Sabrett hot dog traditional combo (with perfect measure of mustard, ketchup, onions, & pickle slice) was yummy juiciness. The Strawberry Lemonade beverage made from concentrate was just okay. Glad I declined ice in my drink as it would have quickly diluted what little sweetness it contained. My friend enjoyed a Nathan's hot dog combo (dressed with sauerkraut fixins') He commented the quality was worthy of selling on his food truck. Located in a New Bern Ave strip shopping mall with plenty of parking, safe but dimly lit typical of the area. It's a small low key family place full of good vibe, clean restrooms, and super friendly service. Enjoy adult beverages, and on Karaoke night all are welcome to sing artist favorites and showcase their groove. We ate our food too fast to take pictures.
