Came here with a friend who lives in garner and has come here before. It's located in a big strip mall off Timber, so plenty of parking. Good assortment of sandwiches and some platters. I got a gyro with lamb and beef and it was good except there was very little taziki sauce. Tea was good as well. My friend got a club sandwich and we were surprised at how big it was and it was declared very good. Customer service was just ok, not very friendly. Loved the old car theme throughout the place and was told there's a car show in the parking lot often. Some tables were clean, some not and no one was cleaning while we were there and we stayed a while. Will return for another try.

My first time going. It was delicious. We ordered the chicken Philly and a steak Philly with fries. Evening was good. Can't wait to try the wings next time. Customer service was great. The restaurant was clean.

TLDR: Phenomenal customer service plus great food at a reasonable price. Note: they are located on Timer drive not on the Wake Tech campus. Their past location still shows up on Google maps even though they have requested its removal. We have ordered food here a few times. I am always impressed by the flavors, portions, and prices. Plus it is easy to call in an order or place one online. I like the comment/notes section when ordering online. The employees here read all the notes and answer any questions you may have. Most recently we ordered a 12 inch cheesesteak ($7.69), chicken Caesar salad ($7.49), baklava ($2), and gyro pita ($6.49). Our food is always ready on time and accurate. The cashier (owner?) is awesome. He is so kind and helpful. He seems to form a personal connection with each customer, making for special and unique experiences. In addition to the excellent customer service, you get a satisfying meal at a reasonable price. We highly recommend ordering from here!

This place is awesome! The decor is classic car themed and they usually do a classic car show in the parking lot I think once a week and have local musicians come and play. I have eaten here 4 times total and enjoyed the food as well as the prices! Burger fries and drink combo is less than 10 dollars! The employees here are pleasant and attentive to the customers needs. Highly recommend checking this place out. Enjoy!

Pulled up to see my boy MOJO and grabbed the double cheeseburger with errrthing on that jawn. The server was very kind and genuine and made me feel like I was meant to be on this earth to order a cheeseburger from her. I got that burger to go because I had big money moves to make for the rest of the day but the wait time wasn't bad, it took maybe 7 minutes... a few less minutes and this is a 5 star. Everyone in mojos seemed like real steppas and there were definitely some regulars. The ambiance was just like an old burger grill like I had back at home in 66'. Got home to eat my burger and almost starting floating. The flavor profiles bonded in sweet symphony and gave me heart palpitations from the pure deliciousness. Simply put- Mojo is that guy.

What a great place for great lunch with friends! We heard this was the best place for gyros and they did not disappoint. If you have a large group and you want to sit together, this place isn't for you. However, parties less than 6 on a busy day would be the best move. The team is quick and efficient. They are very kind and know their menu! You should check it out

Good place for a quick dinner. Very affordable with a good variety of food. It's located close to other shops so parking is good. It has a good 80s vibe to it (decor and music) so that was fun. It's a little small and it was loud where I was sitting so that affected my enjoyment of my meal. The food was hot and fresh so I will come here again if I'm in the mood for any of their food.

After 40 years of marriage, we've learned that a memorable lunch is often better than an expensive dinner. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to write our reviews the same day. Lunch for two came to about $45 plus tax and tip, and included: * Bánh Mì * Shrimp Tacos * House Lemonade * Key Lime Pie Location & Atmosphere SmokeStack Cafe is located in Raleigh's historic Oakwood neighborhood in a beautifully restored former grocery store. The setting is full of charm, both inside and out. There is outdoor seating available, but we chose to sit indoors where the space is open, comfortable, and inviting. Parking is street parking only. On our Juneteenth lunch visit, finding a space was easy, though I suspect many neighborhood residents simply walk over. The Food The Bánh Mì was outstanding. The bread was a true French baguette, fresh, crisp, and clearly high quality. The sandwich was generously filled with flavorful pork, more than we have received at most places serving bánh mì. It came with a large portion of well-seasoned French fries. The Shrimp Tacos featured three tacos on corn tortillas. The shrimp portion was generous, and the accompanying sauce added plenty of flavor without overwhelming the seafood. The House Lemonade was tart, refreshing, and exactly what I wanted on a warm afternoon. For dessert, we shared a slice of house-made Key Lime Pie. It was a generous serving with a bright, tangy lime flavor and a graham cracker crust that had a subtle hint of cinnamon. A wonderful finish to the meal. Service Service was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout our visit. In a fun personal touch, our server told us he had made the key lime pie himself Overall What impressed me most was how diverse and eclectic the menu is. The food felt thoughtful and well executed, the setting was charming, and the service was first-rate. SmokeStack Cafe delivered exactly the kind of memorable lunch we hoped for on our anniversary, and we're already looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu.

We called ahead to see if they were busy and get an idea of their wait times as we needed to have a quick lunch. Upon arrival, the very friendly server status quickly and made sure to get our order and as quick as possible. The menu looked interesting and fun, but we were both blown away when our food came. Everything made to order, freshly cooked. Deep built-up flavors, the kind of cooking that takes hours to prepare. You could feel the love that went into this food. We will absolutely be back We shared a braised beef sandwich and an oxtail soup. I'm salivating writing this review, I can't give it enough praises. You must try it. So excited to go back and try the rest of the menu.. This place is a foodie dream!

Was really impressed by the hospitality of the bartender Toulson (spelling?). He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and gave me detailed recommendations. -- The Hamachi Crudo was so bright and light. I really enjoyed the puffed rice on top and the basil ice complemented the dish well. The grapefruit added some nice acidity and the little crunchy bites were the perfect texture contrast. The pieces of fish were large and thick. -- The Manchego-herb Biscuits were awesome. One order comes with four small biscuits. Crust was flaky, the inside was soft and moist, and the flaky salt was the cherry on top. -- The Seared Duck Breast was phenomenal. The duck was juicy and tender and salted well. The skin was thick, sooo flavorful, and melted in your mouth but I would've liked a little more crispiness on the outside. I enjoyed the mix of fresh vegetables and warm cooked vegetables served with the dish. -- The Lemon Yuzu Tart was a nice bright and rich dessert. The tartness comes from the jam on top of the tart but it doesn't overwhelm the dish. The creme brulee style top was a nice touch. The buttermilk ice cream was more on the icier side than creamy. I really enjoyed all the dishes I tried here and am looking forward to my next visit.

I enjoyed the duck breast, with a crunch tasty dried beet topping. The duck was moist and tender and the strips were nicely roasted. For dessert, I savored the Dark Chocolate Ganache Cake. This is a rich cake with a full chocolate flavor. When I'm next in Raleigh, I plan to dine at Crawford and Son for a superb meal.

I would have walked by the restaurant as it's unassuming from the outside, but it's quite a beautiful building. I liked the uniqueness of the building. There are multiple levels, and we ate in the lower level. There was a waiter and an assistant for our table, so we were never ignored and received great service. For a starter, we had the Crispy Beeler Farms "Pepsi Cola" Braised Pork Belly, which was so delicious! There were so many wonderful flavors and great texture in that dish. When it was gone, I wanted more. For my entrée, I had the Moroccan Seasoned Bell & Evans Chicken Breast. Chicken breast can be dry, but the chicken was cooked perfectly. I requested the sauce on the side, but when I tried it, the sauce was divine! The side of rice was flavorful as well. There wasn't anything that I ate that I did not enjoy! We went on New Year's Eve and arrived earlier than our reservation time but were quickly accommodated despite how busy it was. Service was excellent throughout the night. Upon arrival they took our coats and provided a ticket, and the attention to detail continued all evening. Our waiter was wonderful and went the extra mile to explain the specials in detail. They swapped silverware between courses and cleared even the smallest crumbs from the table -- the kind of thoughtful touches you expect at a higher-end restaurant. The food was outstanding. We shared the Cajun ribeye, which they split for us, and was absolutely amazing and full of flavor. The pork belly appetizer and salad were also excellent. My son had the duck and loved it. One note: my mom ordered the seafood paella without seafood. The staff did warn that it would still have a fish-based flavor, and it ended up being very fishy and not great. In hindsight, it would have been better to choose a dish that didn't require modification. The price remained the same despite removing the seafood, which is understandable but still worth noting. Overall, the pricing felt fair given the quality of the food, the setting, and the standout service. This is a beautiful, memorable dining experience and I would definitely return and recommend it.
