Came here with a friend who lives in garner and has come here before. It's located in a big strip mall off Timber, so plenty of parking. Good assortment of sandwiches and some platters. I got a gyro with lamb and beef and it was good except there was very little taziki sauce. Tea was good as well. My friend got a club sandwich and we were surprised at how big it was and it was declared very good. Customer service was just ok, not very friendly. Loved the old car theme throughout the place and was told there's a car show in the parking lot often. Some tables were clean, some not and no one was cleaning while we were there and we stayed a while. Will return for another try.

My first time going. It was delicious. We ordered the chicken Philly and a steak Philly with fries. Evening was good. Can't wait to try the wings next time. Customer service was great. The restaurant was clean.

TLDR: Phenomenal customer service plus great food at a reasonable price. Note: they are located on Timer drive not on the Wake Tech campus. Their past location still shows up on Google maps even though they have requested its removal. We have ordered food here a few times. I am always impressed by the flavors, portions, and prices. Plus it is easy to call in an order or place one online. I like the comment/notes section when ordering online. The employees here read all the notes and answer any questions you may have. Most recently we ordered a 12 inch cheesesteak ($7.69), chicken Caesar salad ($7.49), baklava ($2), and gyro pita ($6.49). Our food is always ready on time and accurate. The cashier (owner?) is awesome. He is so kind and helpful. He seems to form a personal connection with each customer, making for special and unique experiences. In addition to the excellent customer service, you get a satisfying meal at a reasonable price. We highly recommend ordering from here!

This place is awesome! The decor is classic car themed and they usually do a classic car show in the parking lot I think once a week and have local musicians come and play. I have eaten here 4 times total and enjoyed the food as well as the prices! Burger fries and drink combo is less than 10 dollars! The employees here are pleasant and attentive to the customers needs. Highly recommend checking this place out. Enjoy!

Double Cheeseburger

Pulled up to see my boy MOJO and grabbed the double cheeseburger with errrthing on that jawn. The server was very kind and genuine and made me feel like I was meant to be on this earth to order a cheeseburger from her. I got that burger to go because I had big money moves to make for the rest of the day but the wait time wasn't bad, it took maybe 7 minutes... a few less minutes and this is a 5 star. Everyone in mojos seemed like real steppas and there were definitely some regulars. The ambiance was just like an old burger grill like I had back at home in 66'. Got home to eat my burger and almost starting floating. The flavor profiles bonded in sweet symphony and gave me heart palpitations from the pure deliciousness. Simply put- Mojo is that guy.

Gyro Pit was a hit!

What a great place for great lunch with friends! We heard this was the best place for gyros and they did not disappoint. If you have a large group and you want to sit together, this place isn't for you. However, parties less than 6 on a busy day would be the best move. The team is quick and efficient. They are very kind and know their menu! You should check it out

Good place for a quick dinner. Very affordable with a good variety of food. It's located close to other shops so parking is good. It has a good 80s vibe to it (decor and music) so that was fun. It's a little small and it was loud where I was sitting so that affected my enjoyment of my meal. The food was hot and fresh so I will come here again if I'm in the mood for any of their food.

Spicy sausage pizza…read more *Spicy sausage pizzzzaaaahhhh!* Had a very pleasant evening here with friends and fam. Wasn't well planned so we just winged it with a party of 11. We entered through a big heavy wooden door into the quasi-dark atmosphere and were promptly seated, despite most of the tables being occupied. We were given a two top and started with chips and guacamole. I was impressed with the chips, they were a little extra thick, had tiny bubbles in them. Certainly a far departure from the typical thin, overly salty chip found at most restaurants and grocery stores. Excellent guac with a little pico and lime wedge on the side. I ordered the Baja bowl with shredded adobo chicken. The bowl had green rice, black beans, a whole lot of kale, tomatillo sauce, pickled red onions, crema, and cilantro. It needed a little more, so I added in some of the guac, a few chips I crumbled in my hands for some crunch, and some fresh lime juice. Noah did a good job keeping our water glasses full and he was quite friendly. However, the restroom situation is a bit difficult. There are two small unisex bathrooms, both of which have to be locked. There can't be more than one person in there at the same time, so plan accordingly. Granted, since there isn't much space in the restaurant, it's not as if they have a ton of options.

The toasted sourdough was a nice touch for sopping up bites. The fried okra was a standout--lightly battered, bright green inside, and not soggy (a minor miracle) The chicken tenders had a peppery cornmeal breading that stayed crunchy and paired well with the dipping sauce. But the most nostalgic part was the warm biscuit split open with peach jelly--sweet, sunny, and the perfect finish! Overall: Comfort food done well, generous portions, great textures, and totally worth the visit

It's been an interesting journey--because while I absolutely respect the tradition, my palate has definitely evolved over the years toward lighter, more elevated, visually beautiful food. That said, sometimes you just have to lean in and experience the classics. Tupelo Honey had been on my list for a while, so during a recent work trip to Raleigh-Durham, I decided to check it off. The location is in a very nice, upscale area--one of those shopping districts where, if you see a Whole Foods nearby, you know the neighborhood is going to be polished, safe, and easy to navigate. Parking was simple in a lot across the street, and since I had a reservation, I was seated quickly on the patio, which was lovely and comfortable. For starters, I ordered the "biscuits for a cause," which is a nice touch knowing the proceeds support employee relief and development funds. They were warm and classic Southern biscuits--exactly what you'd expect. For my entrée, I went with the honey-dusted fried chicken (dark meat), a true Southern staple. It was well prepared, flavorful, and satisfying, especially if you're in the mood for something hearty and traditional. I also tried a cocktail called "The Debutante," which was pleasant and refreshing, and finished the meal with the butter pecan cheesecake for dessert. Overall, the meal was good--solid, reliable Southern comfort food--but if I'm being completely honest, it wasn't particularly memorable for me. I was traveling for work and dining on a per diem, so it checked the box for a dependable dinner in a convenient location. As a larger regional chain, it feels a bit like a rite of passage when you're spending time in the Southeast--something you try once to understand the landscape. Bottom line: Tupelo Honey delivers classic Southern comfort food in a polished, accessible setting. Service was smooth, the patio was pleasant, and everything was executed well. For me personally, it was a good experience--but not one I'd necessarily go out of my way to repeat. Still, as I continue eating my way through the Carolinas and beyond, I'm glad I gave it a try.

Was really impressed by the hospitality of the bartender Toulson (spelling?). He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and gave me detailed recommendations. -- The Hamachi Crudo was so bright and light. The pieces of fish were large and thick. -- The Manchego-herb Biscuits were awesome. One order comes with four small biscuits. Crust was flaky, the inside was soft and moist, and the flaky salt was the cherry on top. -- The Seared Duck Breast was phenomenal. The duck was juicy and tender and salted well. The skin was thick, sooo flavorful, and melted in your mouth but I would've liked a little more crispiness on the outside. I enjoyed the mix of fresh vegetables and warm cooked vegetables served with the dish. -- The Lemon Yuzu Tart was a nice bright and rich dessert. The tartness comes from the jam on top of the tart but it doesn't overwhelm the dish. The creme brulee style top was a nice touch. The buttermilk ice cream was more on the icier side than creamy. We went on New Year's Eve and arrived earlier than our reservation time but were quickly accommodated despite how busy it was. Service was excellent throughout the night. Upon arrival they took our coats and provided a ticket, and the attention to detail continued all evening. Our waiter was wonderful and went the extra mile to explain the specials in detail. They swapped silverware between courses and cleared even the smallest crumbs from the table -- the kind of thoughtful touches you expect at a higher-end restaurant. The food was outstanding. We shared the Cajun ribeye, which they split for us, and was absolutely amazing and full of flavor. The pork belly appetizer and salad were also excellent. My son had the duck and loved it. One note: my mom ordered the seafood paella without seafood. The staff did warn that it would still have a fish-based flavor, and it ended up being very fishy and not great. In hindsight, it would have been better to choose a dish that didn't require modification. The price remained the same despite removing the seafood, which is understandable but still worth noting. Overall, the pricing felt fair given the quality of the food, the setting, and the standout service. This is a beautiful, memorable dining experience and I would definitely return and recommend it.
