Overall a great experience. The food was delicious and rather inexpensive compared to similar places. I had a bowl of chili, a house salad and a Coors Beer. I got the chili with cheese and onions. The chili was not spicy but still it had a good flavor. The salad was good as well as the ranch dressing on the side. When the kitchen brought us our food they forgot the salad. We came in on a weekend while apartment hunting to grab something quick and maybe watch some football. Perfect location because they have plenty of tvs and football was on all of them. We ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich and 20 grilled wings, half with lemon pepper on them and I believe the other half was tossed in buffalo sauce. This was probably the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. It was perfectly cooked. It wasn't tough to bite and it was tasty. The fries were great as well. 5/3/23: It is my first time here. There's plenty of parking & the hostess was friendly. She sat us in a booth & there are tv's everywhere to keep you entertained. On Saturday July 11 myself and 3 members of my family went to Kickback jack's in Raleigh nc for dinner. The meal was ok. We paid for the meal and left. The meal cost was $90.02. We left an appropriate tip. After we left whoever keyed my meal receipt into the system added an additional cost of $10.00 to the cost of the meal. This was highly inappropriate and done without my permission. The folllowing Tuesday I went back to the restaurant manager and showed him the receipt. His response was that the added funds was inappropriate and would be returned. He kept part of the receipt and told me that the inappropriate $10.00 charge would be added back into my card and I would be notified. $10.00 is not a lot of money but it shows some employee is dishonest. and I have not had the money returned or any kind of notification. Review on September 29, 2024 I decided to take my parents to this restaurant after church today for lunch. Upon arriving we were seated right away; there were hardly any customers in the restaurant at the time as they had only just opened 30 minutes before we arrived. We were seated for about 5 mins before our server came to the table. Our server arrived and took our drink orders. After a few mins, the server brought in our drinks but passed our table to go to another table to "check in" with our drinks sitting on his tray before returning to set them on our table. Our drinks should've been placed on our table before checking in with another table. One of the drinks ordered was coke. He never mentioned that they do not serve coke. Instead, he brought us a Pepsi without even asking if that would be okay. My mom doesn't like Pepsi but opted to just drink it anyway. We ordered Wings and Fries, Ribeye & Ribs, Sirloin & Ribs, and Fried Pickles. The fried pickles were good but a tad salty. The other dishes were nicely seasoned, and we enjoyed them. My parents especially enjoyed their ribs, sirloin, and ribeye. They were moist, tender, and flavorful. My wings were fried the way that I like them and also flavorful. My dad wasn't feeling well, so we ended up taking the rest of our food to go. The server brought us to-go containers and our bill but the bill he brought was incorrect, so he had to go back to correct it. Pretty much an average sports bar with a good size menu for everyone to find something to eat on without a problem. The restaurant was busy but they kept the people moving without long wait times. Overall clean environment from what I could see with a friendly staff. With the understanding this is a sports bar - the expectations shouldn't be of a five star restaurant at all. Another meal on my work trip. This was a good one. Your typical bar and grill with some tasty food. I had the Philly cheese steak egg rolls and wings. Both were good. Very lack luster experience overall. Reservation for 6pm and was not seated until 6:15pm, it was not busy at all. Servers are very friendly and helpful, just a little forgetful and slow. Food was not anything special. My Caesar salad tasted very weird, I am just not a fan of the dressing (I love Caesar salads but not this one). The cheese pizza reminded me of the pizza from school lunches. Not bad just not great. The firecracker shrimp tastes amazing, it is an exact replica of the bang bang shrimp from bonefish. The wings were grilled nicely and the lemon pepper had a nice flavor to it. The fish and chips were a crowd favorite at my table, very good, even the coleslaw. The shrimp is nicely fried and flavored. I think personally I may have chosen the wrong meal, but the menu is not very expansive, you may find something you like. My husband had a taste for pizza and decided to order it from Kickback Jacks. He went to pick it up after calling it in. He ordered a large thin crust. I've never eaten pizza there and wasn't planning to eat any of it anyway. But when he got home and opened that box with a large pizza I was shocked. It looked like a small as it was the smallest large pizza that I had ever seen. He said he paid more than 16$ for it. I didn't taste it...but he ate it and said it was pretty good. Fast service, excellent wings and a pleasant atmosphere with plenty of televisions. There is an upstairs outdoor dining area. The bar area is clean and cool with plenty of high top tables and booths. Every time I travel to Garner I make it a point to stop here to eat. My fries were greasy, lukewarm and very, very salty. My daughter ordered a hamburger which was also very salty. The boneless chicken wings were so salty I could only eat two. The salmon my husband ordered was the only thing not salty but it lacked favor. The green beans served with the salmon was also salty, salty, salty!!! What is it with all the salt? The tea was much too sweet. I left the place still hungry. I did not want to complain because our waitress was so nice. But I give the food a thumbs down. Honestly I had not eaten at Kickback Jacks in a few years! Sometimes you just wanted to go watch a game and satisfy the pallets of a vegetarian, a meat eater and a pescatarian. Not always easy to do, yet we all had a great meal, great service and a good time. It's just bar food, but at the end of the day, we got firecracker shrimp, a big bang for our buck, pasta no chicken, Spinach dip, Berry salad with salmon and a burger. Tasty and served hot, just a little spicy as they should be. My friend chose the nachos and this is a huge portion. Very well loaded with toppings and not many chips without something on them. 10/21/25 This is to let everyone know that the people are great, but the food and place need a lot of work. I went there for my 10th anniversary in recovery to treat myself to a good meal. the service was great!! my food came out hot and looking beautiful. but looks can be deceiving. My order was loaded with potatoes and a rack of ribs, along with a salad and Philly steak eggrolls. As I was about to drive into my loaded potatoes, I found a label in my food that was supposed to be fresh. The manager came and fixed the issue with no problem. When he brought out the redone order, he set it on the table, and I was about to try and eat my meal that I had been longing for. Then out of nowhere, a big roach was crawling towards my food. I immediately killed it with the only napkin I had and called staff over again and showed them the dead roach I just killed, going towards my food. Both managers came over and saw it, and were apologizing to me and wanted to move me to another table. I was sick to my stomach by now and just wanted to leave. Good bar food and drinks for good prices. Similar to a TGIFridays, but much better. I've been quite a few times and I've always had a pretty good experience. I've always enjoyed the food options as well as the drink options. The prices are also good as well. Their buckets are great drink options as well. Our server wasn't very friendly, and I'm not sure if she had a long not, but it indeed showed in her lack of communication with our table. Everyone ordered their meals, and from what everyone shared, this was their thoughts. Out of the five meals, the wings we ordered as the appetizer was the best, everything else was not good. The chicken and shrimp pasta was bland and missing a lot of seasoning (2 people ordered). The Philly cheese was good but also could have used more flavor (1 person requested). The ribs were plain and could have been seasoned a lot better and cooked a little longer (1 person ordered), and I ordered the terrible burger choice. I noticed the multiple people on Yelp sharing images of how rare their burgers were, and it was no different when I ordered mine.
