Great place to get good cheap food it was close to Buffalo Wild Wings which is where I worked while home from ECU one summer. Working two jobs is a long day so it's a good place to just hangout after work with friends. I highly recommend it and us Pirates alumni and current students love good food and watching sports! read more

Not a terribly frequent customer at the Garner NC Kickback Jacks (less than 5 times) but have enjoyed our previous visits..... Ordered two orders of their baby-back ribs and sides for pick-up this past weekend (Saturday) to celebrate an Anniversary (I was sick so take-out was better than nothing). Have enjoyed the ribs on previous visits but must admit that the ribs we ordered this time were clearly over-cooked or had been sitting in a warmer for too long. The ribs were impossible to enjoy.....and even more impossible to warm today. If we had been "in" the restaurant.....I would have asked for replacement ribs.....or at least would have brought the dry ribs to the attention of the restaurant manager. Our sides (Mac-n-cheese....mashed potatoes.....and beans were all great. We will certainly visit this restaurant again....but this last visit was a "swing and miss". read more

Great place to watch a huge variety of sports, great wings and fish & chips and the biggest nachos you'll ever try to eat. I ordered the fish & chips and the fish was excellent, but the chips (fries) were hammered beyond recognition. I let the server know about and she quickly replaced them with fresh ones. The place was very busy during lunch time so I couldn't blame her and thought she was great for changing them out so quickly. This is the second one I've been to and do like it quite a bit. Will I come back...definitely!! read more

The food was good, especially for takeout. The staff greeted me as soon as I arrived to pickup my order. The salad was fresh, sandwiches were hot, and the kids enjoyed their meals. Would like to try other items next time. read more

Sat at the bar both times I've been in since I moved back to town. It was hit or miss with the service. Ordered chicken tenders, and they came out soggy. For the price I should've had more than a very small handful of fries. The honey mustard was runny as if they watered it down. As busy as it is, I probably won't go back. read more

I am from NH. I had the pleasure of dining here last weekend. The food was absolutely delicious!! The portions were huge. Our server was absolutely amazing! She brought our food and it was exactly how we ordered it and we never had to ask for drink refills, they were always there in front of us. If you haven't tried this restaurant I highly recommend them. I had the grilled chicken plate. The seasoning on the chicken was vert flavorful and delicious!! LI was with a large party and not one of us walked away hungry or dissatisfied. I wish I had taken photos of the food. If Kickback Jack's ever wants to expand, we would welcome them in NH. Thank you to all the waitstaff and Justin for a delicious dinner and relaxing evening. read more

I wanted to eat some wings and decided to come here it wasn't that busy and my waitress barely came to check on us I wanted about 20 minutes afterwards I finished eating to get my check. The fries weren't cooked fully and when I gave them back she brought my burned fries the same one I gave back they just re- dropped them. Well, the guy that was cleaning up I think he said his name was Mario he was very pleasant and tried to help. read more

I placed a Togo order for pickup when they were absolutely swamped at the front. When I saw the cars outside I wasn't too sure I'd get out in a promptly manner, but they got me in and out pretty quickly. I believe her name was jasmine, she was the sweetest and overall made my experience amazing and super quick. would recommend this place to everyone. the food and service were top notch read more

Jasmine very kind, and respectful. She gave me a welcoming smile as I walked through the door. I definitely will be coming back :)

Sad Portion of Macaroni & Cheese Ordered $12 buffalo chicken wrap through doordash.. watery, no cheese, taste like boiled pasta, and terrible serving size. Mind you, if you pick no side it doesn't take a portion of the price off. Chicken wrap had two small pieces of chicken on one side; other side had one piece or chicken. Both drenched in buffalo sauce. read more

I really like Kickback jacks. The food is really good and my daughter L-O-V-E-D the winGs. Only think I had a question about was the dress code. Some waitresses were fully covered while others were wearing booty shorts in the middle of winter. Maybe that is me considering I have only been here twice and didn't know about that. Anyways parking was good, bar seating and kinda covered out door seating. Will definitely be back. read more

Not sure what happened ...my burger was delicious as usual, the Firehouse. Our server, Vee, very good. But the fries used to be so good, and now I may as well eat a Wendy's fry. My partner in dining looked around and said all the fries looked under cooked. Another place I'm not coming again. read more

Kayla was an awesome server. We felt welcomed. She was polite, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The only issue we ran into was the bartender being very much over her head. We ordered shots and our appetizer came out before the drinks. It took a lot of time to receive our next round of drinks as well. Maybe on Sundays they should have more than 1 bartender or a manager to assist. read more

This flood is amazing! The drinks are A little shy on the alcohol but the quality of the food is amazing! I don't know why the ratings are not all 5 star. I got the New Orleans pasta, my kids got chicken strips which were real chicken, and the pizza, which was 1/2 of a whole pizza. I had a great server! read more

Kickback Jack's is a decent bar option in the Garner area. Tons of TV's with a good draft beer selection makes it a good place to watch a game. The food is good, on this most recent visit I had the Shrimp Tacos which was served with rice and beans. I thought that the dish was okay, unfortunately the taco shell was too chewy to tear apart when taking a bite. As far as the service goes, it is hit or miss. The hostess looked a bit lost this past visit. read more

Never been before so not sure if this is an independent or chain. I will say that the black and bleu burger I ordered was superbly done. The bread was toasted and it was fantastic. They have a great selection of beers on tap and the wait staff is very friendly. Reminded me sort of a sports bar but a little different since they had pool tables and not as many tvs as I've seen at some sports bars. The bartender was always asking about my drink and food which might annoy some, but it was good to know they were attentive. The place was also hopping with young professionals and perhaps college aged on a Tuesday night which was a good sign for a restaurant. read more

Man if I could give a lower rateing I would. The manager was rude and we had a problem cause the drinks we order were suppose to have an extra shot but she never even put it in there the manager came and said it wasn't on the bill. The manager came and was sooo rude and said he couldn't take the drinks back and replace it with another which is crazy cause ever bar will but this place. The week before we came and the chicken was raw.... so we gave it another chance today and we're very very disappointed. The staff and manger were rude saying we're we being unreasonable and stuff but we asked for it and we ganna pay for the extra shot.......... I have the video on my phone of the manager being rude to my husband I ground of our family. Don't think I will come back here. I'll stay at kick and loaded very very dissatisfied here's the video I'm updating my review to bring disterbing report. Kickback Jacks has made a very racial post on there door singling out people who can afford certain clothes or wear big shirts and they also say if u modify ur clothes in anyway they can ask u to leave.... what is that crap this is very disrespectful and we have people looking into this act. It may be a private establishment but they are losing customers that came there everyday for years it pitiful that they can make rules on what we wear to go eat when there staff is violating the clothing rules as well.......... read more

Stopped here for lunch on Sunday because we were in the area. Lots of TVs for sports Sunday. I would say it's a typical sports bar but clean, friendly and would probably make for a great sports night at the bar. Kids portions were very satisfying...large pizza slices! We also ordered the loaded nachos. I can be picky about the queso and cheese sauce but these were great! Loaded, almost every nacho was covered with plenty of cheese, chili, lettuce and pico! Husband had the Philly cheese steak sandwich was also great! Service was friendly. We would totally go back, especially if there were games to watch. read more

Best. Wings. Ever. We come here often for date night and have managed to get the best server so many times that she recognizes us literally everywhere. Saw her at Target and she was so excited to see us Ok but the food! We usually get 20 wings: 10 fried with lemon pepper seasoning and 10 grilled with Thai Chili sauce. THEY'RE SO GOOD! We consider ourselves wing connoisseurs and these rate top 5 for sure. Haven't had much else besides the wings and the spicy shrimp which is also delicious. You just have to check them out, you won't be disappointed. read more

Kickback Jack's has fabulous food!! So delicious! Gabrielle, our waitress, was absolutely fabulous! Very attentive and almost magically intuitive, bringing things before we even asked. I do not recommend coming & eating here at all. The manager Stacey or Daisy (whatever her name is) is very childish, rude & very unhelpful. Me & my friend forgot our TO GO plate on the table(that we paid for) & she would not replace the food nor give us a refund along with our lazy waitress Alexis who never went out of her way to come & bring our food outside while we were still in the parking lot. They saw us struggle with young children & never showed us any compassion or hospitality in this matter at all. We spent good money there & gave a good cash tip & all she said was that it was not her fault nor her responsibility for making sure we left with our food that we paid for. She did nothing to resolve our issue & told us to call cooperate. They have no soul nor morals & lack empathy. Never have I been mistreated this way at all, let alone by a "manager". Plus later that night I felt sick & puked & our young children got diarrhea from eating the food there. The wings also had a lot of pink in them so obviously they were not fully cooked well & that's what messed up our stomachs. read more

I normally really like Kickback Jack's food. There burgers are great and the seafood is always tasty. Last night I ordered a the sirloin and shrimp meal through Doordash. The shrimp and loaded mash potatoes tasted great. However, the steak..... I know this isn't a steak house, but it was tougher then Mike Tyson in his prime! I've ordered this meal before and while it was never the best steak in town, it was never like this. Did you switch meat suppliers? If you did, you need to find a new one, ASAP! read more

Nasty! Once you wait forever to sit down and be ignored by the wait staff you can use that opportunity to go to the restroom and assess your ant bites from all the ant hills outside the door. As soon as my wife and I walked in, on a Thursday night at 9pm, it was so loud. We sat down and ordered water and soda. We stayed an entire 5 minutes and then offered to pay for the soda before leaving. We could barely hear each other over the crowd and the TVs. The server apologized for the excessive noise (of course it wasn't her fault). We won't be returning if we ever come back to Raleigh. read more

How the mighty have fallen! Remember when this place was Rock-Ola Cafe? Then Rock-Ola Grille? Remember when Battleground Restaurant group thought it would be a better idea to close down that place and open just another sports bar? In my opinion, huge mistake. Last night we went for an early dinner, me, the wife and my two boys. We ordered simple. She had the Cajun pasta (A staple on the Rock-Ola menu). I had some fried shrimp and my boys went for classic kids' fare, quesadillas and mozzarella sticks. Not three minutes later, the food was on the table. Magic grilles that cook chicken in 3 minutes?? French fries like a limp noodle. Soggy. No seasoning. Breading falling off the shrimp. The mozzarella sticks were dry and the cheese didn't even stretch. Quesadilla was burnt and flavorless. All in all it was sad. This is a place that used to have the best steaks and burgers on the planet. The atmosphere was fun and everything on the menu was delicious. Fajitas, Crabcakes, home-made ranch, the yeast rolls with Cinnamon butter. Rock-Ola was amazing. I'm sad they sold out. Change the atmosphere, fine. Don't cheap out on the food. I looked forward to going to Rock-Ola. KBJ is just not on that level. read more
