Had a fantastic breakfast here with my mom last Sunday. The wait was advised to be 20 minutes but we were seated after about 10 minutes. Despite the place being packed and busy, our waiter checked on us repeatedly. The vanilla latte was delicious and served piping hot. I ordered the crabocado bowl after asking the waiter which he'd recommend over the crab cake Benedict. I was not disappointed! I ate every bite it was so scrumptious. The fluffy scrambled eggs combined with the rich crab cakes and hollandaise, pickled onions and spinach to make a masterpiece of flavor. My mom ordered the strawberries and cream pancakes and equally loved her dish. We will definitely be back to try more but maybe during a weekday to avoid the crowd. read more

Nestled in the Garner Towne Square shopping plaza near Lidl and Kid2Kid. The inside is open, clean, with plenty of seating. My server Malik was attentive and friendly. Really great hash, crispy in the right places but not burnt or dry. GET THE DONUTS (you won't regret it), fresh & made to order! Natalie is the most disrespectful waitress in the building. I was waiting for the bar seat and she walked past me and asked someone else if they were waiting. When I told her I was waiting before them she said she wasn't talking to me about that and then proceeded to share her dissatisfication about my response to others in front of my face with another waitress. When I said something about her mouthing off some little waiter guy who wasn't in the conversation proceeded to defend her disrespect. I'm like dude where you come from and how you know. He wasn't even standing there during the initial interaction. I come to the garner location often and enjoy the food and service of others,but this is my third encounter with her rudeness. We arrived at 10:34 with a party of eight. As of 11:24, we still had not been seated--nearly 50 minutes of waiting. During that time, we watched staff seat a party of seven before ours, using the excuse that they "didn't have the table space" for our group. That was hard to believe given what we directly observed. To make matters worse, we brought three children, who became increasingly impatient--especially once the wait reached around the 45-minute mark. The entire experience felt poorly managed and disrespectful to both guests and families. At minimum, we expected honest communication about timing and seating order. Visiting NC this weekend, this restaurant was recommended to me by one of my friends. I walked in and was immediately greeted and seated; no wait times. The décor and ambiance of the restaurant reminded me of a 'mom and pop' diner. They do have a good selection of different types of food. Im not a big chicken/steak eater so I was glad that they had turkey options. I ordered and received my food about 25 minutes after ordering although the restaurant didn't seem busy based on how many patrons were in the restaurant. Our server didnt check on us as frequently as I feel she should have, I had to wait longer than expected for drinks/refills. My husband wanted to give this place a try and I will say it was okay. It was really crowded as most breakfast places tend to be mid morning, then take into consideration that its labor day weekend. There was a lot of confusion at the counter. You have people trying to pick up to-go orders, those checking in for a table, and those waiting to be seated. ALL of this happening in a very small space, and it appeared there was just ONE guy managing all of that singlehandedly. After we, the customers asked each other what was happening, we the customers figured out how to organize ourselves accordingly. We were seated faster than the time they quoted which was nice! In terms of ambiance I would say it gives diner vibes. Service was just okay. Not one request to refill coffee or drinks but the server was really busy so we will give her a pass. She was very nice! I had a crabcake benedict and the eggs could have been cooked lighter and I would have enjoyed more hollandaise but zero complaint on flavor. My husband had a crabcake omelette with potatoes and he enjoyed it a lot also! What I enjoyed most is the food was seasoned well and not over salted. The portions are just enough so if you are a big eater you might be disappointed or look to order more robust entrees. I saw a few bigger plate items nearby. I would give this place another visit and maybe increase the stars if it is more organized next time and the server was just a little more attentive. My sister and I had breakfast there, first time, and I can't say enough good about it. It was on a Saturday morning, there was a 10-minute wait to be seated, and then we were taken care of by a fantastic server! We both had the Crab-ocado Scrambler, and were so pleased we did. This was my first time at Eggs up Grill. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza and is easy to find. Waitress had great attitude and even a manager walked by to check on us. Don't know if I just came in on a bad cooking day but I didn't like the food. I ordered a waffle, blueberry muffin, fruit and an egg. This was my first time trying this place so I decided to play it safe. Honestly I felt like I was eating continental breakfast from a hotel. The only thing I liked was the blue berry muffins. I wish I had taken a picture of the menu. I saw a cheese burger that looked really good be delivered to the table beside me. Super excited when this new business opened up. Tried to visit it several times but could never coordinate my schedule to get in there. Finally found a day when I could get in and we had about a 20 min wait which wasn't bad. I decided to walk around stores next door to pass the time. I was shocked when I first walked in because the location is way smaller than expected. The diner is very clean and bright and the staff had smiling faces. My first time to have a meal here, even though they've been open for quite a few months. First of all, they need a sign when you enter to say, 'Wait to be seated", or, they need a sign in sheet. The person at the entrance had her back turned taking another customer's To-Go order. When I asked her do we seat ourselves or wait to be seated, she coldly replies to give her a few minutes. NOT a good first impression! Food- wholesome, warm and good. Service- questionable beginning with the hostess, and then another person seated two of us on a table that seats 6 people, & there was a booth available and also 4 tables that seat 4 empty! We have liked the one in West Virginia Charleston when traveling and thought yay a new breakfast place. Been here three times since opening and the food is a joke. Potatoes are always cold and smushy like microwaved. When I walked by I see they r made once for the whole day. I seen eight huge trays made ahead of time and then some how reheated. Always arrives at table cold and gross. Ordered egg white omelette. It was flat thin and rubbery. Ugh, NO! So so mediocre and we will not return. Drive the extra ten mins to downtown Raleigh for real breakfast at Parkside or Whiskey Kitchen. We will pass here. You could do better with making at home or going and getting an egg McMuffin I hate to say. read more

But, Im not here to praise the corporate side, but want to say that the three times I have visited Eggs Up Grill, the food has been fireworks to my palate. I ordered hash browns potatoes cooked crispy and they came back perfect. Not over cooked, nor undercooked and soft. The veggie omelette was great and I'm not a big drinker but the strawberry mimosa was good too. Last but not least, the main reason of writing this review was a specific waitress I've had at the bar seats named Kaylie. Very sweet and soft spoken young lady with a slight smile that makes you feel warm and welcomed to be there. It's hard finding personable and friendly waitresses/waiters (Or any service industry) these days, so when I do, I try to thank them in person and sometimes online. Thank you Kaylie! Really glad to have this new spot in the neighborhood! We visited at 10 am on Sunday and there was a 45 minute-1 hour wait. (20+ folks waiting standing outside... could definitely use some benches, etc.) We got our six takeout orders in just over 30 minutes and with a 20 minute drive to our destination, the food quality held up well. As an area for improvement for the new business, front of house could make more use of their technology... they collected a phone number for each reservation and to go order but didn't use them for notification or status updates... they kept coming outside and vocally trying to locate groups.
