Nothing I like better than eggs Benedict on a Sunday. So I headed over to the Eggs Up Grill in Garner. My Holly Springs experience wasn't the best but I wanted to give them another chance. Sadly I was disappointed. The servers were amazing. Those men and women were friendly even while working hard to feed a packed house at 9:30 am. I was immediately seated at the bar ( solo dining has its perks). Coffee right away. A little light for my taste but oh well. The eggs came out on a biscuit with a very thin slice of Canadian bacon. Looked great. But the eggs weren't fully poached. Runny whites I ate what I could and let my server know. Her response was I should have sent them back. Not what I was hoping to hear. Especially when food safety is at an all time low. No need to return. read more

First time trying this place and I had such a great experience! The staff was super friendly and attentive, and our servers did an awesome job. The restaurant has a cute diner feel with colorful decor and a fun, casual atmosphere. I got the lunch salad & sandwich special with the Southwest salad and turkey melt. The salad was fresh and I loved how generous they were with the avocado. The turkey melt was delicious and the bread was perfect! My mom got the Create Your Own Omelette, you pick 3 items (she chose mushrooms, onions and peppers) and a side and a bread of your choice (ex white, wheat, English muffin) . We're visiting and found this cute little breakfast place and it was packed! We were seated quickly and we were shocked how fast our food came. I have a dairy allergy and I was informed they use liquid butter on their grills so breakfast was out of the question, but I ordered the club sandwich and it was delicious! Had a fantastic breakfast here with my mom last Sunday. The wait was advised to be 20 minutes but we were seated after about 10 minutes. Despite the place being packed and busy, our waiter checked on us repeatedly. The vanilla latte was delicious and served piping hot. I ordered the crabocado bowl after asking the waiter which he'd recommend over the crab cake Benedict. I was not disappointed! I ate every bite it was so scrumptious. The fluffy scrambled eggs combined with the rich crab cakes and hollandaise, pickled onions and spinach to make a masterpiece of flavor. My mom ordered the strawberries and cream pancakes and equally loved her dish. We will definitely be back to try more but maybe during a weekday to avoid the crowd. read more

Nestled in the Garner Towne Square shopping plaza near Lidl and Kid2Kid. The inside is open, clean, with plenty of seating. My server Malik was attentive and friendly. Really great hash, crispy in the right places but not burnt or dry. GET THE DONUTS (you won't regret it), fresh & made to order! The grits were very smooth & potatoes had a great taste without being too salty or greasy! Diner style service, not great but not horrible. Natalie is the most disrespectful waitress in the building. I was waiting for the bar seat and she walked past me and asked someone else if they were waiting. When I told her I was waiting before them she said she wasn't talking to me about that and then proceeded to share her dissatisfication about my response to others in front of my face with another waitress. When I said something about her mouthing off some little waiter guy who wasn't in the conversation proceeded to defend her disrespect. I'm like dude where you come from and how you know. He wasn't even standing there during the initial interaction. I come to the garner location often and enjoy the food and service of others,but this is my third encounter with her rudeness. We arrived at 10:34 with a party of eight. As of 11:24, we still had not been seated--nearly 50 minutes of waiting. During that time, we watched staff seat a party of seven before ours, using the excuse that they "didn't have the table space" for our group. That was hard to believe given what we directly observed. To make matters worse, we brought three children, who became increasingly impatient--especially once the wait reached around the 45-minute mark. The entire experience felt poorly managed and disrespectful to both guests and families. At minimum, we expected honest communication about timing and seating order. This place is not good, they would not honor our coupon for $8 off saying that the book we got it from did not contact them about it. Visiting NC this weekend, this restaurant was recommended to me by one of my friends. I walked in and was immediately greeted and seated; no wait times. The décor and ambiance of the restaurant reminded me of a 'mom and pop' diner. They do have a good selection of different types of food. Im not a big chicken/steak eater so I was glad that they had turkey options. I ordered and received my food about 25 minutes after ordering although the restaurant didn't seem busy based on how many patrons were in the restaurant. Our server didnt check on us as frequently as I feel she should have, I had to wait longer than expected for drinks/refills. My husband wanted to give this place a try and I will say it was okay. It was really crowded as most breakfast places tend to be mid morning, then take into consideration that its labor day weekend. There was a lot of confusion at the counter. You have people trying to pick up to-go orders, those checking in for a table, and those waiting to be seated. ALL of this happening in a very small space, and it appeared there was just ONE guy managing all of that singlehandedly. After we, the customers asked each other what was happening, we the customers figured out how to organize ourselves accordingly. We were seated faster than the time they quoted which was nice! In terms of ambiance I would say it gives diner vibes. Service was just okay. Not one request to refill coffee or drinks but the server was really busy so we will give her a pass. She was very nice! I had a crabcake benedict and the eggs could have been cooked lighter and I would have enjoyed more hollandaise but zero complaint on flavor. My husband had a crabcake omelette with potatoes and he enjoyed it a lot also! What I enjoyed most is the food was seasoned well and not over salted. The portions are just enough so if you are a big eater you might be disappointed or look to order more robust entrees. I saw a few bigger plate items nearby. I would give this place another visit and maybe increase the stars if it is more organized next time and the server was just a little more attentive. This was my first time at Eggs up Grill. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza and is easy to find. Waitress had great attitude and even a manager walked by to check on us. Don't know if I just came in on a bad cooking day but I didn't like the food. I ordered a waffle, blueberry muffin, fruit and an egg. This was my first time trying this place so I decided to play it safe. Honestly I felt like I was eating continental breakfast from a hotel. The only thing I liked was the blue berry muffins. I wish I had taken a picture of the menu. I saw a cheese burger that looked really good be delivered to the table beside me. My sister and I had breakfast there, first time, and I can't say enough good about it. It was on a Saturday morning, there was a 10-minute wait to be seated, and then we were taken care of by a fantastic server! We both had the Crab-ocado Scrambler, and were so pleased we did. This was mine and my partners first time coming here. The atmosphere was very welcoming. The French toast was TO DIE FOR! This seems to have been a mess up kitchen wise as I found you couldn't choose what veggies to and not to include I chose no veggies as onions and tomatoes don't agree with me. Favorite breakfast/brunch spot hands down! First off ...The sausage links are like nothing I've ever had..I mean amazing! I had a picky eater with me and he loved the red white and bacon pancakes! We also tried the Philly cheese steak omelet , coastal crab Benedict, and I promise it's so good!!!
