The food is delicious, reasonable priced, and they have seasonal and nutritious menu items. Unfortunately the wait time is long, particularly Sunday brunch. I placed an online order for takeout hours in advance. I arrived at the selected pick-up time. This location is new and it was a Sunday mid-morning, but it took a while to receive my order (like 20-30 extra min). I wish they had anticipated this and limited online ordering. The dining area is small, however, the host said the kitchen was behind. The host was calm and patient. Numerous parties were checking wait times, requesting tables, and picking up online orders all at the same time. The host skillfully addressed questions and concerns, retrieved takeout orders from the kitchen, and seated customers. I had time to observe while waiting for my order. It was a hot day, so I was glad they had several chairs by the host stand to use while waiting. Once my order was ready, I left. I should have opened it up and asked for syrup as none was included. Everything else was accurate and tasted great. We ordered the shrimp and egg power bowl ($18), shrimp and grits ($15.50), French toast with bacon ($12), and Elite pasta salad with chicken ($16.50). Overall, we enjoyed the meal and would return here on a less busy day.

We were greeted walking into this new restaurant for Fuqua and seated. Our drink orders were taken. I was thrilled to learn that only Lavazza coffee is served. I LOVE Lavazza coffee!! We ordered pumpkin flapjacks with a side of thick sliced bacon, a turkey club with chips, and a western omelette with a side of breakfast potatoes and rye toast. Each meal was very tasty and served hot and fresh out of the kitchen. We shared bites so each of us got a taste of all the meals. The consensus: outstanding! My personal favorite was the pumpkin flapjacks. These are over the moon delicious! The thick cut bacon is also very, very good! The servers work in harmony with each other making certain each diner is always taken care of a clear reflection on how manager Brian guided the team that he is a part of. The service was outstanding. Toastery is a go to dining destination!!

Second chances matter. We visited when they first opened and were not impressed. Very loud and bland food. Today's visit was much better. Sound panels have made it much quieter. The service was friendly and good. The food was very tasty. Omelet and shrimp and grits. Large portions.

I don't even know where to begin or if I'm even able to gather the words for this review. For starters the server was not interested in taking our order and MIA for most the dining experience. The food runner actually took care of us more than our server. No drinks, no refills. The food was served cold and potatoes burnt and dried out. I'll try to attach an image. No flavor, just bland and disappointing. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The image of the potato's is exactly how they were brought to the table. I don't even know how anyone can even think this is acceptable to sever to a paying customer.

I really wanted to enjoy this spot, especially as a newer addition to the area, but my experience fell short on several fronts. I placed an online order and arrived around the estimated pickup time, only to find that it wasn't ready and didn't end up being completed until more than 20 minutes later. Initially, I thought it might just be an isolated issue, but while waiting I overheard another couple mention they had been waiting 20 minutes just to place their order with a waitress, and another guest was also still waiting on his online pickup. Unfortunately, the service didn't help improve the experience. I waited roughly 10 minutes before anyone even asked if I needed assistance. When I finally received my food, the quality didn't make up for the delay. The famous bowl and blackened Caesar wrap (with mac & cheese) were both mediocre at best. The mac & cheese lacked flavor, and the lettuce in the wrap looked old and unappetizing. I had high expectations given that it's a newer spot, but overall the experience was disappointing. I truly hope they can get things turned around, as the concept and menu have potential it just needs better execution and service.

Great service!! The food was absolutely spot on and our servers were extremely friendly and helpful!!! I highly recommend coming in the morning !

All the food was cold when it came out. My French toast was undercooked and wet. We had 5 waiters come to us and only 2 gave us what we needed. The outdoor seating area was good but messy. The biscuit was chewy and flat. Both times we went here, the poached eggs were more than undercooked, they were literally liquid. The cheese was store bought.

The rim of the plate is clearly dirty with a greenish color. There is nothing green on this plate.

So while I was around, I decided to look for it and we found it. It looks big on the outside and when you go in the left side, your gaze will lock into this spot to your right and it will suddenly transport you to an Italian villa to park yourself on the couch. I wanted to do this but our eyes caught more, the walls, the other cozy table and chairs, the bar like set up to get your coffee, tea, refreshers, or simply eat there. Along the wall by the cashier, they offer to go treats, dark chocolate bars, beef jerky's, cheese bites, high end chips... the pastry display will soon be packed with other goodies that they get delivered. Right now, they have muffins, lemon bars. I also saw a deli meat since they will be serving charcuterie too. By the back door to the patio, they sell bottled drink of all sorts, some I've never seen. We bought a refresher and a chocolate bar that I thought were delicious. The chocolate is of high quality and will bring you satisfaction. The wine area, located to the right side can be closed off for private events or other events. They will offer wine tasting, bottle that you can purchase whether cold or room temp. Once the area is fully finished and stocked, this will be a beautiful spot. The bathrooms are gorgeous and spacious. You will need to check it out for yourself. Lastly, the owners are so nice. I've never met them before but she is the warmest being. She gave us a tour, explained to us how they operate and that soon she will be posting events located above the building where you can enter at the door with an awning 2a. Also, soon, if you are seating outside in the back, you can tap at the small window to order a drink. How convenient is that? Right now, please be patient as they still work out all the kinks to perfect their spot. It is a nice place to go while we wait for our children doing sports near by.

Nice chic decor and a nice rooftop for cooler evenings. The patio has doors that remain open so the temperature inside was unbearable for me. Someone who does not have a good relationship with heat should not dine here in the heavy hot months. It was difficult to get cool. They don't serve anything in copper cups and there are not any frozen drink offerings. I ordered the crab dip. It was okay. Probably not the best option to go for here. I tried the focaccia which was very good. The Peruvian salmon was really good on the flavor. The rice was extremely overcooked (mushy) as if it had also been sitting. The carrots were pretty good. All of the food was lukewarm. I enjoyed the Queen's Park Swizzle as a refreshing and somewhat cold with plenty of ice. I recommend Nightingale if it's convenient for you. Nightingale is decent place for craft cocktails. I would not recommend on the food alone based on my experience.

The fish was burned and the batter had no flavor at all. Even doused with lots of malt vinegar, salt and pepper, it was still barely edible ( I ate the inside). If I hadn't been so hungry I would have sent it back, but I had not eaten all day and was hangry. In the picture you can see one showing the burnt side and I turned the other one over to check the other side. There was a kale slaw type salad that was just ok. Had lots of onion in it which I don't prefer. The fries were not good at all. Limp, no flavor. I only ate two and gave up. We went to Publix and got a frozen pizza and went home and cooked it. The place is nice, clean from what I saw and our waitress was wonderful. This would be a 3.5 only because of the great service.

Little did I know that the gracious gentleman who kindly offered me the seat was none other than the proprietor of Niche, Mr. Ted Powell and that's when my night really started as Ted graciously regaled me with amazing stories between the pause on the songs played by the band. What a vibrant spirit this man has. If you go here, you have to meet Ted. From telling me about how he acquired the place, his daughter, Budstock, Maverick Rose Music Hour, and sharing details of each nights events at Niche, he made my first visit (just me myself and I) a beautiful one. We made a rookie mistake: no reservation. Day before Christmas Eve. The only table available was by the door, which, for us, is a hard no. It was already chilly outside, and sitting by the door means constant drafts, tense shoulders, and food cooling faster with every opening. Not ideal, especially when you're settling in for a proper steak dinner. To their credit, the hostess tried everything--even showing us the reservation layout for the evening. The owner came over personally, and in the end, our options were simple: take the door table or come back at 7:30 pm when more tables would open. We were hungry, but we chose comfort over impatience. My dad left his number just in case a table opened sooner. We went home, had light snacks, and--surprise--got a call at 6:55 pm. Not only was a table available, it was a booth. That alone told me everything I needed to know about how they run this place. Stellar Client Care. When we returned, the owner John Linderman, met us at the door--warm, apologetic, and genuinely appreciative that we came back. The entire staff operates like a well-oiled team, with hospitality that feels intentional rather than performative. It's been a good while since I experienced an owner manager stop by every table to check in. A gesture from better dining times. Now, the food. We ordered: * Stuffed Shrimp with crab meat * Sausage bombs * Prime rib * A tomahawk ribeye to split I don't know if Harvey John's is officially farm-to-table, but the steak tasted incredibly clean--like actual beef. As a native New Yorker living in Los Angeles, I've eaten at many top-tier steakhouses--BOA, Ruth's Chris, Musso & Frank, Nick & Stef's, Steak 48--and I can confidently say this tomahawk was more flavorful and tasted fresher than all of them. Who knew a small-town North Carolina steakhouse would deliver a truly high-end experience? I'm no chef, but I do have a refined palate, and this meal was memorable. Honestly? If Michelin ever looks this way, they should take note. It's comforting to know you can leave one of the biggest food cities in the world and still find a steakhouse worthy of becoming a new regular favorite. Pro tip: Make a reservation--just to be safe. Cheers to Harvey John's.
