The food is always consistent and always fast, even when they are busy. Large portions and the service is always good

19 minutes ago just getting off after a long day at work . i'm treating the family to dinner or so I thought . I had the food brought to me outside . now I paid $63 and some change on food . all that food was put in one bag and given to me curbside service as I was pulling off everything fell out the bag . I took it back to just get it replaced the manger (lilo garner station) looked and me and said what you want me to do he wouldn't make it over or give me a refund . now I been a manger a long time if the person came back with the food or the receipt I made it over or issued them a refund if I they wanted it and I had both the food and the receipt so I didnt see the issue of making my food over . he really expected me to feed my kids that food that fell out the to go bowls into the bag to my kids like they some dogs. I eat at the location at least twice a week but that was the worst experience I ever had and we'll never eat here again . he was rude and his customer service skills were the worst . I asked for the number to the person that was over him and he gave me corporate number . I had pictures and all of how the food was in the bag . 63 wasted cause I didn't even eat the food . if I could give y'all zero stars I would . read more

I stopped in here after a full day's work at a client site nearby. This place is a typical sports bar - lots of big screen TVs everywhere. It is part of a locally owned chain of restaurants (including Tripps Tavern accross the street). It's pretty loud - in terms of music as well as people - but that is to be expected in a casual sports bar. The bar is fully appointed and the bartenders are attentive and helpful. The menu is typical - appetizers, pizzas, salads, sandwiches. I had a couple of beers and decided to order some food. I wasn't really that hungry, but I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza - which easily will feed 2 people... or get a takeout box and take the leftovers home. I asked for my pizza with no onions, but the kitchen misunderstood the directions and actually added DOUBLE onions. However, they realized their mistake before they delivered my food, so the manager came out and apologized and said they would take care of me--which meant that my pizza was on the house. Nice! :-) I would definitely go back anytime I am in the area. In addition to a huge bar, they also have a nice patio with plenty of TVs for the rabid sports fans. The bartenders were super nice ... since I was by myself, I ate at the bar and they made me feel really at home. If you happen to be in the area and want some solid bar food with good service, I'd say to give these guys a try! read more

I would give it zero stars if I could. My wife and I walked out Sunday, May 7th. 2023 after not receiving any service. A waitress walked by our table several times and never even acknowledged us. So, after not getting any service, we left. I contacted the restaurant and they never responded to me. I guess management doesn't care about their costumers either. We most likely will not be going back. read more

Went here this past Saturday to celebrate my mother in laws birthday and catch the UNC/Duke game. It was a great atmosphere to catch the basketball game and considering how packed the place was the food and appetizers came out relatively quickly.. I ordered the ship and sirloin meal cooked medium and the steak was cooked perfectly and the fried shrimp was nice and crispy.. I had for my appetizer the cheese sticks and they were hot and fresh out the oven.. One of my friends ordered the grilled chicken wings and they were amazing as well I can't wait to go back there again. read more

Ordered delivery and my food was AWESOME!! Delivered fresh and still warm. The baked beans were actually still HOT and sweet to perfection. The BBQ chicken was a thick filet juicy and so tender with lots of bacon slices so there was enough for every bite! Ordered loaded mashed but got regular and they tasted good but would have been better with the cheese and bacon I paid for. I see the price increases and $22.00 was a lot for 1 meal but I had a 10% off coupon and there is enough food for 2 meals plus with outstanding quality it is all good!! Love ordering delivery from this location because they are extremely consistant and I ALWAYS GET FRESH DELICIOUS FOOD!!!! read more

I have worked in various jobs in the service industry, from food service to retail to healthcare. One thing that I know is the difference between good and bad customer service. On May 16th, I made an online order to the Raleigh (Garner) Kickback Jack #35. I went to pick up my order. I entered the restaurant to a young lady, I'll call her the hostess, leaning on the counter with her phone propped up on the ledge. I told her that I had a order for Denise . She replied, ok she'll be right with you (I don't know who 'She' was). The hostess returned to scrolling on her phone. I waited patiently, as another young lady came up and started talking with the hostess. I still wait patiently for this mysterious person to return to the front to provide me with service. As I am standing there waiting, I can plainly see my order on the shelf behind the hostess. I finally asked why she could not get me the order. The hostess proceeded to tell me that she is the hostess and the there is someone else who handles the 'To Go Orders'. So, I asked for a Manager. Manager Jason proceeded to tell me the same thing, that the hostess and the To Go Associate were two different jobs and that the hostess could not serve to go orders. In the meanwhile my order is sitting on the shelf getting cold, because the 'To Go Associate' is gone. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with the customers service that I received. I can not comprehend an employee of your restaurant not being able to serve a patron, because it is not their job. read more

Languid service, average food, poor cleanliness. These people act like they don't care. These guys have gone down hill. They used to be just ok, now they are poor. 1. Our waitress just sort of shuffled around like she was dead. As did other staff. I had to get our silverware from one of the barmaids. She had some low grade ink going on that gave us concerns on her hygiene. Your ink is your choice, but so's where I eat. 2. Some party had recently gone on and there were some chewed ribs lying around on the floor that the staff missed sweeping up. 3. My wife didn't get the salad she ordered. We had to get it taken off the bill. 4. It's a nice building, with a patio to eat on, but that little tidbit was the highlight. Not enough to raise it off one star. 5. Food was ok. Not spectacular. Decent if greasy wings and it's kind of hard to botch a Bud light. Honestly, when you walk into a place and the staff almost universally acts like they could care less, it's scary. You wonder how they manage their food handling and safety. There was a lively alert server - one I counted - serving an adjacent table. But I'm sure she'll move on before too long, she seemed out of place. What happened to this place?? It used to be better. read more

Terrible restaurant. The coasters were soaked with whatever they cleaned the table prior to us being there. The coffee was cold when I was told that they had to brew a new pot. I got the coffee less than 5 minutes. No coffee pot brews coffee that fast. I asked for another cup. Hot this time. My husband ordered sirloin and shrimp. He ordered it medium rare. He couldn't even cut it with a steak knife. He complained to the manager. He offered to cook another sirloin. Same thing: tough. Poor grade of meat. It is NOT grade A. Silverskin left in the meat. My meal: good burger. French fries old and lukewarm. Waitress: poor attitude and didn't really know the menu. First AND last time we will eat here. Like another person posted. I wish we could give no stars. read more

Visiting from out of town (Miami) my friends told me about Kickback Jack's so we came here to try it out. Walking in it reminds me of Duffy's in Miami. We were greeted by 3 friendly hosts and sat right away. We had a cozy booth in the middle of the restaurant which was a good location for the group I was with. Surprisingly on Christmas Eve they had a good crowd. I ordered a simple Jack Daniels and Tonic for my drink and the Classic American burger which was cooked to perfection. Instead of fries I had a side Caesar salad which was pretty tasty. The ribs were tender and delicious and the mozzarella sticks were pretty good too. The marinara sauce had a bit too much garlic, but luckily I'm a garlic lover so it was bearable. The menu is typical sports bar themes food, but everything I tasted was delicious. It's a good place to go if you're having a craving. read more

Horrible experience. We came in around 8 o'clock on a Saturday night. Prime time! Dining room was empty and they were turning away business. We asked for a wait and they said an hour and 35 minutes. Excuse me??? Like let's get some staff on the floor. It's a Saturday night for Pete sakes. Also, their servers threw some F bombs at us and we didn't even come at them first. Very inappropriate and unprofessional. Hence the fact we did not say any curse words. We simply asked to be seated just to drink some water and watch the game. Couldn't even do that. Who the hell has two servers on the floor at 8 o'clock on a Saturday night. Might as well drive to Wendy's and eat the biggie bag by myself in the parking lot. Anyways, good food but terrible service. BTW the manager is named ZEB. If you are a lazy sack of crap looking for a place to work this is your place because you can literally take off as much time as you want and the restaurant will still be open. Pictures of the dining room inserted. read more

Oh la la! One of the best sports places to come around in a long time! The staff is friendly, on time service and quick about it too! Only my 2nd time here. I wont be back. My server jordan was inattentive. Not a good night for her i suppose. I ordered fish and it was good and fresh. Tarter sauce very good. Had hard boiled eggs in it. different but great complement to flounder. Shrimp fresh and not overcooked. Fries were cold and tasted old and microwaved. I asked for baked potato instead...over baked but ok. I really wish i had remember to order potato soup since it has good reviews. Waitress didnt ask if i needed change back. She just took money and never came back. Never said thank you. I couldnt get her attention so she ended up with almost 9.00 tip she didn't earn. Im not pleased with that. she just kept my money. I spoke with manager....nothing to do really but i hope he does speak with her. Im a good tipper when it is deserved. Disappointed in service. read more

This place is always busy and there are more tvs than you can shake a stick at (which, btw, I don't recommend shaking sticks at the tv as a rule). If you're in the mood to watch a game, you're in the right spot. The food is decent. Nothing spectacular but, not bad. Fairly standard sports bar fare but with a bit more selection. The prices are reasonable too. But, one thing I really like is that they offer grilled or dry rub wings alongside the traditional breaded ones. I'm typically trying to maintain a gluten free diet so, this is a big plus in my book. All in all, the restaurant is convenient, affordable, and there's hardly a bad seat in the house and is family friendly to boot. It's one of my regular stops. read more

I'll preface this by saying that this isn't the kind of place that normally gets my business. That being said, it was about to pour down rain, I didn't see many other options, and I was in a bit of a hurry. I sat at the bar as I was alone and I hate table service when I'm on my own. The bartender greeted me quickly and I ordered the black and bleu salad. It took a pretty significant amount of time for it to come out, considering that the restaurant wasn't busy. When the salad finally came out, there was a gigantic plastic cup full of bleu cheese dressing on the side. It was pretty visually unappealing so I skipped it. The beef had a strange combination of spices on it, perhaps to try to mask the gritty meat. One of my pieces was completely inedible. The rest were okay, but clearly this wasn't quality meat. Also, the bleu cheese seemed to be pretty low grade. If that's what people think of when they think bleu cheese, there's no wonder so many people don't think they like it. A friend once told me that there are two types of restaurants. Restaurants where you go for sustenance and restaurants where the chef has a clear vision. This was clearly of the sustenance variety. In any case, the chances of me returning are slim to none. read more

Pros: Lots of tvs, booth seating, large restaurant and bar area, appetizers are super tasty/great bar food. I had the tailgater and the cheese fries which were delicious! Cons: The service! Food quality seems good. I have been three times and each time I ordered the food was very good. The bad is the service. There is very little communication between staff. Each visit I was waiting for over 15 minutes before someone asked about drinks. Then it took an extra 15 minutes before my drink arrived. Afterwards another 15 minutes before staff asked if I would like to order.. and that was just for appetizers. Basically this happens when the place is not packed. I would suggest going on a night when the place is full to experience better service. Lots of TV's but difficult to manage which channel the place wants to keep on the screen. It keeps moving. So, if you are there to watch a game - tell the staff you want to watch a specific game so that they won't keep changing the channel. read more

Went here the other day for some beers and wings. Was just before 5pm and the place was pretty empty yet it still took 5+ minutes to get a waitress to come over. Too cold to sit outside, but does have some outdoor seating and I hear they have cornhole boards. Their "kickback beer" for $2, which I am told is Coors. Whatever, it's $2 for cold beer I'll take it. Ordered "hot" wings and they were what I'd expect. Wings were a little coated in sauce, but not bad. Had just the right amount of breading and were a good size of wings. Also had some cheese fries (with bacon since I'm on a diet) and they were as good as expected. Ordering was troublesome at times and cashing out took time as well. So, good wings, decent beer price, yummy cheese fries, but can be a little slow in regards to service. Knowing this, I wouldn't try to go if you are in a time crunch, but not a bad choice for the area. read more
