Fun spot to have nearby for a burger and a beer. Bar atmosphere in the back was a little bright, I work in a bar and we usually keep it dive bar vibes, so it could just be that I prefer that. Service in both back and front of house was friendly and had a bite and really enjoyed the burger! Might make this a more frequent spot on the rotation. The front is more restaurant sit down, back is more sit at the bar if you like that and hangout spot to grab some food! read more

So the spot was decent and a welcomed option for my hungry family heading to Zebulon. It wasn't anything to write home about but the service was pleasant and the food came out quickly. The flies were nuisance but what can you expect for summertime in the south with the door that opens and closes. It definitely gives down home spot. I believe there was another section of the establishment that featured a bar and has live music on select nights. We arrive there on a Thursday afternoon at lunchtime. My husband had the salmon burger, I had the pulled pork and the kids had chicken tenders and fries and a kid cheeseburger and fries. Everything was OK. Not spectacular but decent. I would go again and want to experience the live music. read more

Food- The food is not all that okay. Overpriced. As far as service some of the employees and managers look and act weird. I observed there is some favoritism showed and some of the managers and employees are prejudice. I won't ever come back to this place again. read more

I visited Smash Masters on a Wednesday along with my daughter who works in the area. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated by a friendly hostess. Our server greeted us shortly afterwards and quickly took our drink orders. We were seated near the bar area, which was open and full of televisions. For entrees, my daughter got the Boujie Burger and I got the Chefs Salad. Both came out in a reasonable time frame and looked delicious! My daughter was very satisfied with her burger and my salad was quite flavorful. We were happy with our food and the service level was exceptional. We are sure to be returning customers! read more

Was harassed at the bar by this older female patron who initially was just staring irritated at me and my friend seated at the bar a few over from her. She then had the audacity to say to my friend, "He's been talking all day" and "I hate when people talk to me while I'm eating". We both dismissed her as being rude and ignorant and finished our food and drinks but yhe vibe was killed and our mood soured. We ended up speaking with the manager who while he was understanding and very helpful, ultimately finding out that this older female patron had harassed other patrons and the staff in the past but was still allowed to come to the establishment and continue this behavior was very dissapointing. Even further embarrassing was the older female patron went to the front entrance as we were exiting and was bragging to the female hosts about what she said to us, the female hosts started smirking in unison. Not what I expected from the staff on how to handle patrons being harassed and leads me to believe they cater to certain demographics that are similar to the staff and others are treated like second class citizens. read more

My family and I stopped by to grab something to eat before heading to the airport to catch our flight. My brother in law recommended this spot because I wanted to have a good burger! I ordered the bougie burger and it was phenomenal! We also ordered the cheeseburger egg rolls and the cheese curds as appetizers! And let me tell you, there was no left over in sightI absolutely enjoyed my burger and the sweet potato fries were so fresh and by far the best sweet potato fries I've ever had! Our server Jojo is super amazing! Not only was he sweet but he was so personable! Jojo even took time to entertain my 1 year old nephew and put a smile on his face! I highly recommend this place and I can't wait to visit again so I can try another burger on the menu!! Thank you again to our server Jojo for the amazing experience!! read more

Really good burgers from this food truck. Many options to choose from, or you can build your own. Generous portions, everything cooked to order. Takes about 10 minutes from order to service, with 1 or 2 people ahead of you. I built my own - tomato, raw onion, relish and ketchup. Served as ordered. Patties cooked slightly more than medium. Juicy and flavorful. The right ratio of toppings so not too sloppy. Shout out to the fries - crispy and delicious. Good truck! Check 'em out. read more

I ordered a double burger with cheese and bacon. My friend ordered a double burger, and we shared fried pickles. The food was okay, but I wouldn't order the fried pickles again. Service was great! read more

This review is for their food truck. Excellent customer service took just under 10 minutes to receive food. Burger was moist cooked well (but missing the bacon I requested to be added so took one star off for that.) Fries were crispy and well seasoned. All food ordered tasted delicious, would recommend them to anyone. read more

slow service .. entertainment that they are offering here sucks ; much too loud too much screaming & right now I am listening to some chicks, screaming their brains out to a song they don't know the words to (much too loud) and the one before was just the same.. however the drummer is very good.. the FOOD is OK .. read more

We went in last weekend around 2 pm supposedly after a "big rush". We were the only folks in the dining area and 3 people in the back bar. The TVs were really loud and the space was dirty. The table was so sticky we used hand wipes to clean it ourselves. The server seemed disinterested and ignored the napkins and food on the floor around us. Now the food: we kept it very simple just single smash burgers. They were okay, nothing special. The food is pricey. A side of cole slaw is over $5. In general not really worth the money for food served. read more

Horrible.. we waited 1 hour for 16 wings and fries. only gave us 8 wings.. another 20 mins for the extra wings. The woman at the bar was extremely rude- food got cold waiting, decided to just pack my food and go home ANOTHER 20 mins to get a freaking box!! Don't come here. read more

My first time having food from this establishment based off a recommendation from TikTok. First to order in DoorDash was annoying. You select half and half and can only select one flavor for your wings. I wanted barbecue and garlic Parmesan. I asked for them to be extra crispy and they arrived 10 bare and 10 with "garlic parm" no flavor at all just spicy from the pepper. They were not good at all. The eggrolls had some substance on them that also had no flavor. Not to mention you CAN NOT select drinks on the door dash menu -- so all this unflavored food with nothing to wash it down with. If I felt like putting clothes on I would drive down and have a conversation with them face to face. I'm so mad about spending $56 on food and it just wasn't good. read more

I am not usually a Smash burger fan. This Burger I got was the sigma burger( with chili slaw and onions. ). It was amazing. None of that canned chili. It was good chili and slaw. And a side of Piemento cheese fries. They were amazing. The waffle fries are so much better than the regular fries for fries with toppings this good. read more

Family dinner tonight at the opening at the restaurant. Had a great time, a relaxed atmosphere with several screens on different sports. Our server (I can't remember his name ) was great, kept checking on our drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. My boys had milkshakes which they loved and we had burgers and wings and egg rolls. So nice to enjoy the burgers we already loved in a sit down place. read more

This is my sixth time coming to the Smash Masters location in Zebulon, NC. I am a burger fan, and have ordered burgers in various parts of the world and of course here in the United States. Smash Masters makes one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Highly recommended. The quality of the meat, their signature sauce, delicious fries, plus the friendly service is hard to match. Although the price is a little above average, the quality never disappoints. Highly recommended. This is my combination of flavors and toppings: "BYO" with habanero cheese, tomato, caramelized onion, signature sauce and lime sauce and cilantro on the side. 5/5 read more

During the Wendell downtown summer concert in June, I ordered sweet potato waffle fries. There was only 1 order ahead of me, and one right after me. After the other 2 people received their orders, which included burgers, I asked about my order (I was the only one left). They clearly forgot the order, but instead of acknowledging they did so, the 2 people in the truck started whispering and smiling, and after several seconds handed me my order. It was regular waffle fries, and just warm enough to know they were just sitting there. My wife and I didn't have the time to complain and wait as we had to be somewhere, so we left with lousy food/fries that cost $11. Lousy business practice screwing over your customers, tells me a lot about who they are. All they needed to do was acknowledge they forgot and offer to rush the order, cook a fresh order and not try to pass off old food to make a $. Will never give these people my hard earned money again, and I will share this experience with everyone I know. If they are at the next Wendell downtown concert (or any other local event), don't waste your $ on a dishonest business when there are several others more worthy of your $. As an owner, if you want good business, then provide good business practices! read more

The food is outstanding, wonderful service, the country music is very well too! I recommend getting the cheese curds, they are nice and hot when they come out and taste absolutely delicious! They sure know what they are doing even as a new restaurant, I rate this place, 5. Big. Booms read more

Omgee.. we ordered a Ritz smash burger--so good and I may never eat a burger without cream cheese again! Spicy, juicy, yummy.. awesome. Nice staff, great food, reasonably priced. They should go on Food Truck Race. read more

The food is amazing every time I come fresh and hot . I love this place have been many times and will continue to go

I normally NEVER leave negative reviews and I really wanted to like this place, but we should have listened to the other reviews... The food is WAY overpriced for what it is. It's basically bowling alley quality food, possibly worse. Also don't let the pictures on their website/menu catfish you like they did us. The food we received looked absolutely nothing like it did online. The fries were also stale and literally none of what we ordered was good. read more

It's so overpriced for the quality of food. The food is something you'd see on a food truck but the cost is of a high-end restaurant. The service is excellent as The people who work there are very nice. read more

The wait time was ridiculous. We waited over an hour for a dry, tasteless burger. The waitress was nice enough, but checked on us only once. 0/10 recommend. read more

Waitress was great. We got build your own burger. There is not a signature flavor with their burgers. The Phillysteak egg rolls was burnt so bad you could not even enjoy the taste of the filling. When sent back to have them make one not burnt, the waitress returned saying the Manager said it would not come out any lighter. read more

I had never ate from their food truck and I must say I did not miss anything !! my husband and I decided to try them to night and we were both very disappointed !! the burgers had no taste at all and were thin and burn. The chili was just plain terrible. The burgers were also dry !! The waffle fries I could not eat at all. I can only say that we will not be eating there again. read more

So I left a great review the first few times I came. But the past 3 times we've been sat with this guy who I guess doesn't care about the tables he serves? First time we asked for a Shirley temple. We get it allot there. He came out with some weird looking drink and it was because he took it before the ticket was ready. Each time we are sat with him he barely checks on the table. This time I got the build your own burger. I asked for ranch on the side, no ranch came with my burger and on top of that I asked for American cheese and got cheddar. I forgot to say something about the cheese because the whole time I'm waiting for him to come I'm very hungry so I eat half the burger and he doesn't come till we're pissed and ready to leave. Mind you by the time he came my man is done with his wings so if that tells you anything... then when he finally comes at the very end as I previously mentioned he acts all confused about the ranch and looking around on the table. Like first you should have wrote it down WHEN I first ordered and second you should be checking your orders before it brought out and third if I had my f#*#*# ranch I probably would be saying something and I would have been able to eat the whole burger. And one more thing, as a server if you're walking around rubbing all on your face that's nasty wash you damn hands or go home. Another thing is he sat us near some guy cutting holes in the ceiling so that made it so much better! I hate getting sat with this guy and I guess I'll just add on that he got the tables order across from us wrong too. Yay him such a great job! read more

I ordered the cheese steak and I have to say it the worst sandwich I have ever tasted. The meat literally tasted like the burnt scrapings from the grill. Also the cheese was not melted properly and the onions and peppers were non-existing. Whomever made this sandwich does not have the knowledge to be doing so. I thought Subway was bad but this was just God awful. I will never return. read more

Burger was outstanding the waffle fries were okay, the egg rolls had a good taste but were just ridiculous burnt (chicken and Philly I had both), cilantro lime sauce is amazing btw. all in all I'd visit again just hoping for non burnt egg rolls next time read more

The onion rings and Smash Masters dipping sauce are really good. The chicken philly is the best we had ever had. The banana pudding milkshake was incredible. Food was amazing and the service was even better. It felt like I was having a conversation with someone I've known for years when talking to the staff. I would highly recommend trying the ribs they were delicious! overall ambience was also fantastic. I could see myself here on a Friday night with some buddies and a nice cold beer! read more

We'd get burgers again from this good truck with friendly people. We tried it in Wake Forest today. The burgers are double, and the buns are great. The prices seem competitive with other burger places. The topping choices are very good, too, especially offering grilled onions. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is we thought the burgers were a little salty and the waffle fries too peppery. That's subjective I know, but I'd rather add extra S&P myself. Next time I may try the hot dogs. read more

Do not recommend. They must have used their entire budget on the front facade because everything else is a disappointment. The interior is just a large, open, loud space with tables. No decor or attempt to make it match the exterior look. My wife and I had "build your own" burgers. Both were bland. There was no seasoning at all on the burger patties. They forgot to put bacon on my wife's burger. And, they must use light mayonnaise because even though it was dripping out of the burger, it had very little taste. The batter was falling off of the fried pickles as they lay in the basket. I had the house mango margarita, and I'm not sure it even had tequila in it. I like mango, and the mango flavor was almost overpowering. My wife had a frozen margarita, and they left the salt off the rim. It was definitely not worth the $76 I paid. Don't waste your money. read more

Way too expensive and the food wasn't all that remarkable. Weird environment. Lackluster service.

The food service and ambience were all excellent. We were seated quickly on a Friday night and the restaurant was super busy as it was the second weekend opened. I felt the food was a little bit overpriced hence the four stars instead of five but it's definitely delicious. read more

Food was ok, nothing to separate it from the pack. We were sat quickly, ordered quickly, waitress was very nice. After waiting for our order 30 minutes we got up to leave. No one bothered to tell us the kitchen was backed up until we were standing at the register. We wanted to pay for our drinks and were given the bill for the the whole meal. Nope. Waitress was surprised we never got our food. They rushed to the kitchen only to tell us it was ready and they packed it up for us to go. Lots of 'sorry'. No offer for discount for the bad service. Of course by the time we get home the fries and rings are not as fresh as they should have been. All in all...we really miss The Zebulon Family Restaurant. read more

We had a party of 10 on their soft opening. Fantastic service and amazing food! We are so lucky to have this in Zebulon! Highly recommend!
