He put his pymt with the ticket and put it on the edge of the table, I hadn't been in a while so I forgot we would pay on the way out. She was cleaning the floor near us and slid our ticket/pymt farther on our table, as if it was in her way, again he's confused so he said this is ready and she let him know to pay up front. I have never experienced such a nasty waitress at this restaurant and because of this I probably will never go back. I don't like not feeling comfortable and welcomed in a place where my money and time is going into. I started to complain before I left but in reality I don't think it would have mattered, and we left a tip not as much as we would have if she was more pleasant. I don't know whether she was having a bad day, a long day or to take it personal but I can't deal with attitude like that and won't take a chance on it again. While I waited on my order, I talked to the owner who is very friendly and easy to talk to, you don't always get that from owners unfortunately. They have their shirts hanging on display, and one of them says "It's the buns for me", and boy oh boy is that the truth. The bun can make or break an burger and Bruno's buns are perfect. Literally I don't want my burger to end. Oh, and the fries!!! The fries were perfect, not shoe string, not waffle or wedge, but in between and seasoned to perfection. You could smell the grill going when you walk up and it really makes it real for you that you are about to experience some good eatin! I ordered the "Southern Thang" burger. Which is their version of Carolina Style or Chili And slaw burger! They nailed it!!! Everything tasted so fresh, the bun was perfectly toasted and even had a PAW PRINT stamped on top! Their logo has dog ears so I guess the paw-print is part of their marketing. Either way it's cute! I also orders the beer battered steak fried which were hot and crispy! This was a huge plus. Too many food trucks have those basic restaurants straight cut fries that you pick up from bargain stores but this place definitely decided to stand out! The price was on par with other major burger eateries, maybe even cheaper considering you get a lot of food for the price. All in all this place surprised me by delivering restaurant quality food, fresh and hot, with excellent service. I will definitely be back!
