The salmon salad was pretty good overall. I believe the strawberry dressing would have given it the balance it needed of a hint of sweetness from the fruit. But it was still good. Where things fell short was the cheesesteak. I did it with the wings as take out. The flavors of the cheesesteak were off. I shared it with others and we all said it was a seasoning on the meat or something that didn't go well. It didn't have the taste you are familiar with when it comes to a classic cheesesteak. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't something we would order again - you know things just ain't forever one. This was one for us. It might be something great for someone else. The wings and fries were good. The fries had a good seasoning to them and the wings weren't hard - so all good in our book. We will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

I say favorite because we always recommend it to friends and family. We arrived to the restaurant and the waiter took the order for the drinks. He brought us the drinks, and I thought he will bring the bread, chips, etc, which are served in " all" restaurants we have eaten at. This time, the server did not bring anything. I thought, maybe they ran out of the bread and are not serving it. To my surprise, next to our table arrived a Caucasian couple, and the waiter immediately brought them the bread and sauces and was very polite. Well, I understood, they were Discriminating us, we are Hispanic; well, actually we are multicultural, because my husband is european. So this type of clients don't deserve the same treatment and service as everyone else? Or, perhaps they were upset because we did not order three course meals???? Tacos & Tequila is big, bold, bright and bubbly; and serves up a wide variety of Tex-Mex dishes. As the name would suggest, Tequila is the featured cocktail. There are many options, but our favorite is the Azul Margarita with Blue Curaçao and Smoked Salt Rim. I recommend the Tortas (much like a panini or Cuban sandwich) with Carnitas. Carnitas (Spanish for 'little meats') is roasted pork that has been liberally seasoned and shredded. The Tortas served at Tacos & Tequila are crammed full of Meat, Beans, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado, Jalapeño, Onion and Queso Fresco - satisfying and delicious. The Street Tacos are another winner. Either flour or corn tortillas are filled with Shrimp & Red Cabbage; Carne Asada (grilled beef); Al Pastor (marinated pork similar to shawarma); Tinga (shredded meat in a tomato sauce); Molida (ground meat); Chicken or Mahi Mahi. So far we have only sampled the shrimp, and they were spot on. The Chiles Poblanos is another delicious and filling dish.
