Great pizza spot in Garner. We walked in without a reservation and were seated after about a 15-minute wait -- they even had a comfortable couch for waiting, which was a nice touch. Service was quick and friendly from start to finish. We started with the meatballs and focaccia, and the bread was absolutely to die for. The salad with pears, cherry tomatoes, and vinaigrette was fresh and flavorful. For pizza, we had the buffalo cheese and it was excellent. We also took tiramisu and cannoli to go -- generous portions and all delicious. Good prices, cute atmosphere, and everything we tried was wonderful. Definitely coming back. read more

Food is amazing! We have been there twice, the first time we got pizzas (which are so flavorful!!). The Margueritta pizza is so simple yet so packed with flavor. New to the area and was seeking good local pizza. I think we found it! Fresh Artisan style pizza with tremendous flavor. The order was real easy over the phone and very helpful. The pizzas are closer to personal size, but delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered 4 plus an app for 6 of us and it worked. We got takeout, but the interior was cute. My boyfriend and I decided to try this place after reading all of the rave reviews. The pizza is cooked in an Italian oven and it's delicious! This place was nice! The waitress was kind and friendly throughout the entire night. The menu has a variety of options to choose from al I'm sure everyone can find a pizza for themselves. Fantastic little pizza restaurant. Really good quality pizzas with perfect crusts and unique toppings. This is not your average pizzeria. The garlic knots are on the online menu and not the restaurant menu but if you ask for them they'll happily make them for you. I would definitely get them. They're made with sourdough dough and are super garlicky. Delicious. We had the pesto pizza with burrata and balsamic glaze. Was fantastic. And the truffle pizza, my husband loved it. Wow! Pizza is excellent! Usually a pizza place drowns the pizza in tomato sauce and that gives me a tummy ache. Amore KNOWS how to make a good pizza with fresh ingredients and they don't use tomato sauce as a crutch. Big chicken pieces and big vegetable toppings. The pizza we got was the Chicken, Ham, Mushrooms, and Bacon Pizza - really big, dense toppings, they didn't hold back. Service was very fast, the salad we shared ahead of the pizza was HUGE - even though advertised as the "House Salad" - the Della Casa - it has romaine lettuce, spinach, olives, cheese, crouton bits, and many other kinds of other good things on it; it was very hearty. Many restaurants these days don't do veggies well, and Amore does a great job with this simple house salad above and beyond expectations. I really want to come back and try their other delicious salads. You can eat healthy here and come away full. Pretty simple and comfortable setting hidden in a strip mall, but has an inviting interior. This place is delicious and we will be back! read more

A few weeks later and Amore Mio has been consistent and high quality. They're our gibts now for pizza in Clayton/Garner. Each of their boxes has a hand written kind note, putting a smile on our faces. A few weeks ago our very picky grandsons were visiting and so grandma left a note on the yelp order to remove Basil and another ingredient and make it as plain of a sauce, cheese, pepperoni (their loss) pizza as possible. Not only did they follow the instructions but the lid note said, "With love for your grandson." This weekend, yelp wasn't working right and orders could no longer be placed online. I called the restaurant and they offered to take the order over the phone or to use the Slice app. A quick install later, we were off to the races. And, maybe because of delays with Yelp-Grubhub or maybe batched delivery with multiple stops before getting to us, but the Slice delivery (restaurant straight to us) was quick and the pizza was still hot, crunchy, and extra tasty. "Now this is some f-ing great pizza" was our consensus. I prize consistency in my restaurants and it's not always easy to deliver or find. Amore Mio has provided an excellent experience every time across now more than a dozen orders. read more

My order was neatly packaged with utensils and sauces included. The Bufala E Crudo pizza was delicious - the dough is the perfect texture and thickness and the tomato sauce is fresh and flavorful. The Della Casa salad was a great pairing - all fresh ingredients as well. I just turned 21, I went to this place because I know I've visited it before. The pizza tastes amazing as always, however when the staff asked how old I was and I mentioned to them that I turned 21 today because I was trying red wine, one of them came and asked if I wanted a dessert free of charge! It was the tiramisu, and it tasted amazing, better than the one I made in highschool a few years ago. The people here are friendly and the place itself is just a vibe.
