Food was really good! I ordered the Veal Marsala, one of the best Italian dishes I've had in a while. No five star because my sister ordered a dish with salmon in it, and it was mushy and very fishy smelling. Otherwise the service was amazing our waiter was very understanding with everything and brought the manager over and she was willing to take the dish off the bill. The music was relaxing and the seats were comfortable, tables were a little high but that's a little picky. We would come back here again! read more

The food was flavorful and delicious. The ambience was a vibe, and the music was relaxing. I was excited to try new specials of the week. Service was excellent! I am happy to have a location closer to my home, instead of driving to Fuquay Varina. What a hidden gem. My food was not greasy, and the price was affordable. read more

I had the Salmone a La Venezia at this restaurant, and it was one of the best dining experiences of my life! Each part of the meal complemented the others perfectly, indicating that the chef or owner truly understood what flavors would work together. I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything paired, especially since I normally don't like spinach, but I enjoyed it in this dish. Upon entering the restaurant, you feel transported to Little Italy; the ambiance, the food, and the music immerse you in the experience until you finally walk out the front door. As someone who eats out every day, this meal will stay with me for the rest of my life. I believe everyone should dine here at least once before they die. As I left the restaurant, I found myself wondering why the owner chose such a rural setting for such an extraordinary establishment. I have no idea, but I definitely plan to return many times to enjoy more of its amazing creations. read more

Had a very nice evening meal here with friends recently while in town. Been here forever, a large facility with several seating areas. We were greeted walking in by the hostess and seated within the same interaction. Our server was very good, professional, kind and friendly. He took our drink orders and got our appetizer going. We started with the Calamari Fritti, an excellent choice, flash fried with spicy peppers in a light golden batter. Simple, fresh and delicious and cooked beautifully. Served with a spicy maranara. An extensive menu of traditional and modern Italian cuisine. After giving it a good look over I opted for the Rigatoni Rustico pasta with chicken in a rich creamy red pepper and tomato sauce. It was delicious and a wonderful presentation and meal. A nice serving of rigatoni, in a velvety smooth cream sauce with tender chunks of grilled chicken. It hit the spot for me and was a thoroughly enjoyable meal. My dining companions said their dinners were equally as good. All in all an excellent choice for a nice meal. 4.5 Stars rounded up for our great server. 01249 read more

Great place to get some GOOD Italian food in Garner! This location is right off Veterans Parkway (formerly known as Highway 42) with a large private parking lot. There's a main entrance as well as a separate door for retrieving pick-up orders. Although I've only been twice so far, both times the service was great. Upon being seated, our server greeted us and filled our glasses with water. I love that they leave large bottles of water at your table so you don't have to wait for a server for a refill. Next, our server shared the specials of the day. Each day, there are soup and entree specials. On my first visit, I ordered the Rigatoni Rustica, and it was DELICIOUS. The cream sauce was magnificent. I loved how rich and creamy it was while not being too heavy. My mother ordered the lasagna. It was good, but the only issue was that in the middle, there was a lot of pasta and not a lot of meat sauce, so the noodles seemed a little thick and not as appetizing. Not a huge issue, but we like a lot of meat sauce. My dad ordered the Cajun Ravioli, which was the special for the day. It was delicious as well. I highly recommend and it's become one of my favorite places in the area to grab some good Italian food. The portions were great and the prices are reasonable! read more

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of our food and the excellent service from Ray. All meals were cooked well, flavorful and delicious. Only downside was we ordered the nightly special but not told the price (always awkward to ask) and it was $48! Same with desserts - they looked and tasted great but were $14 and $15 each and only described by the waiter (not printed with prices). Otherwise, I recommend this place just check prices before ordering. read more

Always an amazing meal here at Garibaldis. Stacy was our waitress and she was amazing! made great recommendations and helped with our to go order. we ordered family style apps: mussels 10/10 clams oreganata 10/10 calamari 10/10 pizza 9/10 (grandmas pie i'm not a fan of the style but the sauce, cheese and basil is perfect 10/10 for everyone else) entrees: ravioli special 10/10 (i'm not a big cheese and fish person but this will be my go to if it's on the menu) scallop special 10/10 veal piccata 8/10 (perfect in flavor, veal this time was a little tough but will order again) minestrone 6/10 ( on the blander side) ordered to go: eggplant parm 10/10 read more

Visited with my family of 8 for my son's birthday. Parking was packed and took a few laps to find a spot. Initially our reservation was not found, but they quickly discovered it and we were seated. The dining room was quite large, but filled with lots of seats. They use a traditional Italian theme. The waitress was a bit awkward and slow, but was nice so we were patient with her. The focaccia bread is amazing! We all got lots of food. The food was certainly the best part. This is some of the best Italian food you'll find in NC. My son got a small dessert for his birthday. We will certainly return! read more

Party of 6 came for Friday night dinner, we had reservations and were seated right away. Service was ok it was busy, so we waited for a little bit. I asked eat diner in my party how there meals were, eggplant was good, salmon nice cooked well, ala vodka good. Grandma pizza was ok, the crust was too thick for grandma pizza and too large for one person, the waiter should have pointed that out. Not pictured chicken Parmesan said very good. Kids pepperoni pizza good. read more

We used to drive to Fuquay to go to Garibaldi for Italian and always came out of the restaurant happy. I was very elated when they opened another location closed to me in Garner. Venue: medium sized restaurant with rustic feel. Food: we get various dishes here but I feel that it is inconsistent with the Fuquay location. We always order pizza here because we truly loved the pizza from Fuquay. But here it is different each time we come. Sometimes pizza is cooked perfect, sometimes too soft, sometimes over baked. Service: service is great every time no matter who serves you. Price: average. Three stars because sometimes it's a five and sometimes it's a one. read more

We ordered delivery from Garibaldi tonight. This was the first time we tried Garibaldi. I ordered the Rigatoni al Samone and my husband ordered the ravioli al Formaggio with Salmon. We could not have been more pleased with the food. It was absolutely delicious and we ordered delivery. Next time we will dine in to enjoy the full experience. The portion sizes were huge. We will have a nice lunch tomorrow too. We have a new favorite restaurant now. We highly recommend Garibaldi. Thank you for delicious dishes. read more

Been multiple times, great food with nice specials, very friendly wait staff. Highly recommend.

Very good!! This rating is solely based on bread. Yes, you've read this correctly. Today, I ordered a side salad and a side of shrimp for takeout. It cost $18.72. I paid $20.72 and left the $2 in the tip jar. I got my order and asked for bread. The takeout staff member went to the kitchen to ask for bread and came back to tell me bread only comes with entrees. I asked to pay for bread. She said that bread is free. I said if it's free why can't I have some. She said because you didn't order an entree. Excuse me.? The price point for what I ordered is comparable to a pizza or a lunch entree (which comes with bread because I've eaten here more times than I can count). I asked to kindly return my order. Another staff member offered to get me some bread. Then, the original takeout staff member came out with bread. All in all, the principle of the matter is that if bread is free, and if I offered to pay for it even if it were not free, then I should not have been hassled about whether my order qualified for bread. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

I am loving this new location! It's nicely decorated creating an Italian ambiance, everyone I interacted with was very welcoming. I ordered a carryout of eggplant parm with a side of gnocchi with meat sauce, garlic knots and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. While I waited for my order, the bartender made me an amazing drink. By the time I got home, my order was still hot and everything was delicious! read more

We've tried the Garibaldi Trattoria in Garner, at the I-40/hwy 42 intersection, several times now. It is almost impossible to tell that the building was originally a Golden Corral and then a PizzaInn, given the extensive remodeling. The pizza is consistently excellent and a very reasonable value. Toppings seem like they are of high quality and the serving is generous too. We recommend the pizza. The rest of the menu is rather mixed. We've tried several pasta dishes and suggest you avoid the Spaghetti Alla Carbonara; it was a gloppy mess. The Gnocchi Bolognese, my favorite, was very, very good, while the spaghetti with meat balls was totally forgettable. We found the $20+ price point for the pasta dishes very high given the portion size and quality of preparation. Avoid the desserts, or at least double check the prices, before ordering. We tried cheese cake and thought it was just OK before realizing that a modestly sized slice cost $15. Garibaldi has a number of very seasoned, professional servers at the Garner location. You will almost certainly receive great service with any of these employees, while some of the others show their lack of experience when the restaurant has lots of customers, although they are trying their best. read more

We go there for every holiday and when we want good Italian food. We always try to get Ray as our server.

The food and service were excellent. One of the best Italian restaurants I've experienced in North Carolina. Nice location and decor also.

Hired them to cater a luncheon. Food was delivered and set up on time, it was delicious!

Food was excellent ( chicken Marsala, salmon) Service was exceptional, ask for Ray, he's the best. read more

Good food and nice ambiance. Service is ok depending on who you get. Penne ala Vodka was very good

We were there for a birthday celebration. Went specifically on a Sunday afternoon which wasn't overly crowded so we had plenty of time to eat and sit and visit with family. Service from being seated was excellent by the very nice server, a man named Shannon. We were given time to order then the excellent service began with drinks, focaccia bread with oil, Caesar salads, entrees and desserts. Our every need was anticipated by Shannon. He also helped take pictures of our group. He kept drinks filled at all times. Entrees were very good. A mixture of regular menu items with one special which was rack of lamb. All entrees were delicious and plentiful. A celebration cake was brought to the table for me (it was my birthday) then the other deserts came out. No one had coffee since we still had drinks. Desert were nice including the brownie cake for my birthday, the limoncello cake and a crème brûlée. It was nice that they split the checks for us. Not every place does that. We already decided before leaving that we would definitely be back. read more

Love this place! This is the old Golden Corral off of hwy 42 near Panera. Made an online reservation for 9, checked in when we got there and that was so simple. The restaurant is large and cozy feeling. Al was our server and he was very helpful and interactive. The menu is large but not overwhelming. All of the food was delicious but honestly my son's kids meal pizza was my favorite of the night! I can't wait to go back and order a pizza for myself. The cheese was melted perfectly and crust not too thick or thin and crispy. Prices are on the higher end for me but the food is good so definitely worth the treat! Definitely recommend read more

The food tastes fresh and comes in large portions. The waiters/waitresses check on you regularly and are good about refilling your drinks. You don't feel bothered by other people and the atmosphere is great for a date. You'll have leftovers for 1-2 meals after. The only downside is the price is relatively high. I would recommend them for a date night. read more

Food was great! Ordered steak special. Too much sauce but cooked to perfection. I'd go back

Great food and relaxed setting- very friendly service. We have been here multiple times and it never disappoints!

Stopped in Friday afternoon. Was seated immediately and greeted quickly by Lorenzo. He wasxan efficient waiter. Nice, comfortable ambiance, his background music. This place was recommended so I was looking forward to my meal. The chicken parm was not crispy but was a bit soggy. Almost tasted like it was pre-cooked and reheated. huge side pasta was a bit gummy. I will return to try the pizza and hope this spot can live up to the reputation of its other location. read more

Always consistently good. Not as excited about their lasagna or their French Onion soup, but all the pasta dishes and pizza are solid.
