    Cheese Pizza - 16" w/ pepperoni

I first heard of this place from doing a delivery and the pizza smelled so good that I told my boyfriend we should try them out. We tried it and it is really delicious that no other place can compare anymore. The staff is also nice. Def recommend this place.

    Detroit Style Pizza

La Roma Pizza was recommended by an employee at the hotel we were staying at. We decided to try something different so we ordered the Detroit pizza. It was beyond delicious! It had a unique flavor and the crust was the best part (to me)! Because it was huge, we thought we would take some back for later on--but that didn't happen. We just kept eating until it was all gone. The owner (I believe) came over and asked how we enjoyed it. Two thumbs up for sure! If we return to Garner, we will definitely put it on our list. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the different taste.

Half cheese & half sausage and black olives. Well cooked, sturdy crust, sweet tomato sauce, plenty of toppings.

I ordered a Chefs salad and a pizza (half cheese, half sausage and black olive). The Chefs salad had generous toppings. The balsamic vinaigrette dressing just tasted like vinegar (1 star). The pizza was cooked well, firm crust without much flop (held the toppings well), edges were crispy. The sauce had a sweet tomato flavor, not a lot of seasoning. The half with the toppings had plenty of toppings.

Ordered through Door Dash, the Meat Deluxe Calzone and it was cooked perfectly, full of flavor and stuffed full if meats and cheese. I will definitely order a calzone in the future!

    Nine dollars? You kidding me???

Nine dollars for lettuce and croutons and no dressing for the Caesar salad? Pizzas pretty good but don't get salad

Decided to check La Roma Pizza out on Friday for dinner after visiting The Beerded Lady. Likes: Delicious pizza, Mom and I split a 13" half Supreme & half Hawaiian pizza and a small garden salad with ranch dressing. My favorite was the Supreme, the ingredients were fresh and it tasted so good. They serve draft beer, Mom got a Yuengling while I got a Brooklyn Summer Ale. They also have Pepsi products, I am more of a Coca-Cola fan myself. They have a cute purse holder in the women's bathroom. They offer the option of calling in your order or ordering online. Dislikes: Ranch was a bit thick. Women's bathroom would not flush, the handle was broken. I wish there was a sign on the door facing 5th Avenue to use the door located around back. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

La Roma is my favorite pizza spot here in Garner. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Greg the owner and he was really nice!!! He treated me as if I had never been there before and went over all the specials. I definitely recommend this place and will happily come back for more.

This is solid pizza. It's not quite gourmet, but better than corporate slop like dominos or Papa Johnson.

Staff and pizza are both crusty. The food was mid and overpriced. Just order from the dominos down the street

We were greeted walking in by the hostess and seated within the same interaction. Our server was very good, professional, kind and friendly. He took our drink orders and got our appetizer going. We started with the Calamari Fritti, an excellent choice, flash fried with spicy peppers in a light golden batter. Simple, fresh and delicious and cooked beautifully. Served with a spicy maranara. An extensive menu of traditional and modern Italian cuisine. After giving it a good look over I opted for the Rigatoni Rustico pasta with chicken in a rich creamy red pepper and tomato sauce. It was delicious and a wonderful presentation and meal. A nice serving of rigatoni, in a velvety smooth cream sauce with tender chunks of grilled chicken. It hit the spot for me and was a thoroughly enjoyable meal. My dining companions said their dinners were equally as good. All in all an excellent choice for a nice meal. 4.5 Stars rounded up for our great server. 01249

Great place to get some GOOD Italian food in Garner!…read more This location is right off Veterans Parkway (formerly known as Highway 42) with a large private parking lot. There's a main entrance as well as a separate door for retrieving pick-up orders. Although I've only been twice so far, both times the service was great. Upon being seated, our server greeted us and filled our glasses with water. I love that they leave large bottles of water at your table so you don't have to wait for a server for a refill. Next, our server shared the specials of the day. Each day, there are soup and entree specials. On my first visit, I ordered the Rigatoni Rustica, and it was DELICIOUS. The cream sauce was magnificent. I loved how rich and creamy it was while not being too heavy. My mother ordered the lasagna. It was good, but the only issue was that in the middle, there was a lot of pasta and not a lot of meat sauce, so the noodles seemed a little thick and not as appetizing. Not a huge issue, but we like a lot of meat sauce. My dad ordered the Cajun Ravioli, which was the special for the day. It was delicious as well. I highly recommend and it's become one of my favorite places in the area to grab some good Italian food. The portions were great and the prices are reasonable!

The staff at this place is absolutely amazing. Now, onto the food. They have both an Italian and Uzbek menu. I got the garlic knots, a side salad, and the steak kabobs, and my partner got a side salad and the lasagna. We both were very happy with our food. I really love the garlic knots here. In total we paid a little over $50, which included tip. An amazing experience beginning to end.

I arrived at Rudino's in Southern Pines at approximately 10 min after ordering and waited almost another 30 minutes to receive my order. When the hostess brought the pizza, she said they messed up when cutting or slicing the pizza and threw another slice in a to-go box as though that would suffice in making it better. I thought this was absolutely absurd - the slice was nothing more than an old piece of another pie that was sitting under a warmer for probably hours and since it was close to closing threw it my way - it was disgusting. It appeared (see photo) they either dropped the pizza or took a bite out of it. When I ordered the Sicilian pizza, I thought it was going to be the traditional thick, deep crust, two inch plus pizza. I was perplexed and very disappointed to see it was nothing more than a traditional round pie with a taste that was overpowering with salt, the cheese was stale, there was no sauce, and very little meat. I feel it was deceptive to advertise and serve a Sicilian pizza masked as a round traditional pie that I can have ordered from Dominoes much cheaper. I was disappointed when walking in and having to wait as long as I did while observing the staff spend more time on their cell phones and gossiping with one another. I would think the least they should do is pull the Sicilian pizza from the menu until such time you can actually make one like Vera Pizza & Grill, Café Vesuvio in Sanford, SoPies in Southern Pines, Brooklynn Pizza, etc. I sent an email and tried calling Rudino's to discuss but they refuse to reply back.

Once upon a time, this place wasn't just a pizza restaurant--it was a pilgrimage site. People…read morewhispered about its crust like it was sacred text, and its awards lined the walls like a shrine to melted cheese and triumph. "Best Pizza" many years running back when that actually meant something. Now? It feels less like a restaurant and more like a nostalgic reenactment gone very wrong. The menu still reads like a dream--Carolina crust this, atomic sauce that--but ordering has become a real exercise in imagination. Half the ingredients are apparently on a spiritual journey and no longer physically present. You'll ask for sharp cheddar and get a thoughtful pause, followed by, "We don't have sharp cheddar, we might have a Wisconsin sharp cheddar?" --which, to their credit, has the word "cheddar" in it. The staff move with the energy of a group project that everyone forgot was due today. Pizzas emerge... interpretively. You might order a margherita and receive something that captures its essence, emotionally, if not structurally. It's less "wrong order" and more "pizza as a suggestion." A master of creative problem-solving, this cashier has boldly redefined the concept of "making change." Why fumble with buttons and math when you can simply hand over two beers and call it even? It's less of a transaction and more of a surprise gift exchange--one where the rules are unclear and the outcome is mildly concerning. And the wine list--oh, the wine list--is a beautiful historical document. A relic. A time capsule from at least six months ago, when bottles still existed and hope flowed freely. Now, asking for wine feels like asking about a long-lost friend. "We don't have that," they'll say, gazing into the middle distance. Still, there's something oddly annoying about it all. Like walking into a once-revered theater that still clings to its golden-age reputation. The performances feel like echoes rather than art, the lighting flat where it once dazzled, and every scene drags with the weight of trying to live up to a forgotten past. It's not bad enough to be a disaster--just disappointing enough to make you wonder if the hype was ever real or if you're just eating the ghost of someone else's great experience. Cheers!
