The rather generic interior seemed like it had been remodeled not too long ago. The restaurant was moderately noisy, but we were able to speak without raising our voices. For some reason we both ended up ordering spaghetti with meat sauce but when our meals arrived we both received spaghetti with meat balls. Instead of just replacing our meals, the server provided two bowls of meat sauce that we spooned over the tomato sauce. It was OK at best, but honestly I've had much worse. My spaghetti was too al dente for my taste, but it wasn't underdone enough to send back. Our meal came with a delicious garlic knot which had clearly come hot out of the oven. We split a "brownie delight" for dessert, which came out as a brownie on a plate along with a bowl of vanilla ice cream. If the brownie had been warm, it would have been very nice, but as served it was OK at best. Our server kept our drinks topped off, but between serving us the wrong meal, and then not replacing it, the service also gets an OK at best too. All in all, Venero's rates an OK at best. We won't be in a rush to return any time soon.

Good food, good and cheap drinks, fun games, even better vibes! I always have a good time here! The staff is kind and fun, and I always enjoy them! The drinks are your basic bar drinks, but they have a lot of great options for cocktails that aren't expensive or too fancy. The arcade games are fun for all ages, so this is also a place you can bring your family during the day, which is something different for the area. I wouldn't suggest small kids later at night...it is still a bar. As far as food goes, it's really good for a small kitchen as they have. I usually order the Cheat Code, which is their twist on cheese sticks that has bacon and is drizzled with hot honey. So delicious! The pizza is great, as well as the dips and nachos. They've got rotating specials, so make sure to check those out when you go. Some nights they have a DJ, so it can get loud, especially on Last Fridays, but I love how different it is from the other places. I love Downtown Clayton, and this adds a little more variety as well!
