I was informed by the two employees there that it was in the oven. There were no other customers inside and the restaurant did not seem too busy. My order was ready about 10 minutes later. By then I was quite hungry and I didn't want to check the order. Luckily it was accurate. I did remove the olives since I did not realize they would be on the salad. I do wish the online menu listed the salad ingredients. I was impressed that the cheese pizza was made as requested. Plus they added ample pepperoni, under the cheese and on top of the cheese. The dining room was closed but, after speaking to the workers and manager, they let us stay and gave us great service. We split a "brownie delight" for dessert, which came out as a brownie on a plate along with a bowl of vanilla ice cream. If the brownie had been warm, it would have been very nice, but as served it was OK at best. Our server kept our drinks topped off, but between serving us the wrong meal, and then not replacing it, the service also gets an OK at best too. All in all, Venero's rates an OK at best.
