Ordered a pound of Garlic Parmesan Wings. Boy were they yummy!! Just the right amount of sauce and seasonings. I really enjoyed it.

Driving by I notice this new pizza place had opened. Always on the look out for a great slice I went to buy a pie. This is a takeout and delivery place. I was informed they have been open one week. I ordered and went to wait in the car. 25 minutes later it was food time. The pizza tasted like Papa John's. I learned there are 40+ locations of this chain. Nothing out of this world, just an average place. But hey, folks like a new place. The two cashiers and 4 kitchen staff (1 adults, the rest high school or college age) were very busy. Time will tell what happens. Meanwhile two other legit pizza places are a mile further in downtown Clayton. read more

I am agreeing with many others here. I don't usually write reviews but I hope this helps the business. I got just a basic pepperoni pizza. Everything was great except the sauce. I couldn't put my finger in exactly what was off about it until I read the reviews and it is a sweet sauce which really throws the pizza off. Not sure if it's a staple somewhere else but I am surly not used to it and I think it would have been a perfect pizza otherwise. read more

I have never been treated as poorly as I was today at any other local business. My husband and I walked into this establishment as I had noticed it multiple times when we were in the area and I wanted to try it. We walked in and waited at the front for at least 5 minutes while we were not greeted or acknowledged. We are not difficult people so our initial thought was hey they're probably just really busy. A young lady with her headphones in came to the front cash register right in front of us messing with the iPads and still did not greet us or make eye contact. I finally said hi are you all accepting orders and her response was "yea". We continued to wait and she finally said "ok" and threw her hands up as if we were bothering her. I usually frequent Venero's for pizza, but wanted to give this business a try. I truly regret it. I would give them a negative 5 stars if I could. Will continue to go to Venero's pizza where the customer service is much better. I would not recommend. Please train your employees to have better customer service. read more

Pizza is good comparable to a Pizza Hut pizza, wings have downgraded from what they originally served when they first opened. They now serve the small itty bitty wings every other fast food pizza store offers except here they double the price. Disappointed in the wings. I ordered twice in two weeks from this company. Last week, the cashier was on her phone when I entered and didn't greet me and had me wait a few seconds to respond to a messages while laughing to the messages. I ordered a cheese steak (on bread) and they gave me something like a Stromboli. The following week the cashier didn't greet me when I walked in. He said "what you ordered" and I responded the proper way to greet a costumer is hello how can I help you! I ordered a cheese pizza and it had mushrooms on it and I ordered a garden salad. The salad was packed very messy and he didn't give me balsamic like I ask. He gave me ranch due to being side tracked on his phone. I'll try this place one more time and if my service is wrong or I'm greeted wrong again, won't see me again! Train those kids to become professional and have them stay off their phone!! We love Romeo pizza but delivery was bad. Twice now, the driver has left it on the porch with no notification. The delivery time does not align with the expected delivery time on the site, so the pizza sat outside about 20 minutes. read more

We tried this new-to-Clayton pizza restaurant and found the pizza fair to middlin'. I picked it up, brought it home and it was still quite hot. I did like the Old World pepperoni but found the pizza sauce too sweet - it had a similar flavor as Campbell's tomato soup, to be totally honest. Your experience may be better than mine and, overall, it was a satisfactory pizza if you don't mind a sweeter pizza sauce. read more

Nightmade for delivery drivers, they orders of 3 before me, and then also remade mine because they "messed up" in whatever shape or fashion. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes, which are valuable daylight hours for delivery. Completely unacceptable, horrible. read more

It was OK. I ordered a standard traditional crust pepperoni pizza and ordered through door dash. Pizza arrived hot, had lots of cheese and pepperonis on the pizza. Dough was meh. Had no real flavor to it and the sauce was meh. Sauce is a SWEET tomato sauce. Too sweet for my liking but others may like it. Just overall ok for me. read more

This place is absolutely amazing!!!!! From the pizza to wings , everything on the menu is a MUST. Management here is Awesome and you can tell that by how much attention to detail the staff is with every order and every customer. Positive vibes and great atmosphere when entering to pick-up or order out. I would like to thank the management along with Kaleb, Kaaliyah, and Keagan for a great experience tonight in customer service back with amazing,fresh,hot , and tasty food !!!! Preordered online for my daughters birthday party. Hot and ready on time and customer service was excellent. We ordered several sheet pizzas and they went out of there way to make sure each cut square had two pepperonis so each kid got equal pepperoni slices. I never would have thought of that lol! We live about 20 mins away, but when we're passing through town this is definitely our fav pizza spot to bring home lunch/dinner. read more

We tried it and we are still searching for a good go to pizza place. the dough is pretty good and airy the way I like it, but the sauce is absolutely terrible. I never tasted such awfully sweet sauce EVER. way too much sugar u could not even taste any tomato. the wings are not deep fried crunchy so also a never again. Friends and family that live in the area have repeatedly told us that Romeo's was the best pizza in town. We decided to finally try it out after church this afternoon and were left unimpressed. The gentleman that was running the restaurant was completely unfriendly from the beginning to the end. His attitude was very much off putting in that he didn't greet us upon entering nor exiting. Not only that he didn't thank us for our order or invite us to come again. I presumed that it might've been just my wife and I but he was same way to a Door Dasher who also happened to be African American. To make matters worse, a colleague of his entered while we were awaiting our order and he behaved the same way in that he neither welcomed us nor invited us to come again. The irony of it all is that my wife was kind enough to leave a cash tip on the counter, I was unkind enough to take the tip back because I was disgusted with their behavior. To make matters worse, the pizza wasn't very tasty either in that the crust was very bland and the sauce is entirely too sweet. With all of that in mind, today was my first and last visit to Romeos. You can literally get better service and pizza out of the freezer section at your local grocery store, try Digiorno instead. read more
