Full Timeline: I placed an order for one large pizza at 3:42pm, the app said that my pizza would be ready by 4:02pm. Just to give them plenty of time, I showed up at 4:15. When I gave my name, the lady at the counter yelled back to the kitchen: 'You got that remake in yet?'. I asked if our pizza had to be remade and she said 'yes'. At 4:22, I overheard the person taking pizzas out of the oven say 'I just dropped the remake' to another employee. Having worked at Pizza Hut, I knew that what normally happens is that the crew puts a rush on a quick remake to minimize the delay to 7-8 minutes until a remake of the dropped pizza can be given to the customer. At 4:25, I heard the employee who dropped the pizza talking to the cook and the cook's unhappy reply: 'You dropped my remake???'. After overhearing the employee who dropped the pizza trying to persuade the cook to make our pizza again and no manager or other employee being in any hurry to make our pizza again, I asked the lady at the counter if I could have a refund. The process of getting a manager from the back and getting a refund took 5 more minutes. I walked out of there at 4:30 with no pizza and no one offering to 'make it right'.
