I had Mario's for dinner a couple of weeks ago and had to come back to try their pizza. I ordered online again via Slice, which is super easy and convenient. My order was expected to be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived and waited about 10 minutes for it to actually be ready, which was fine. I got my pizza and wings home and I was excited to eat them both. The pizza was a little soggy in some spots somehow, but it was good. This was my second time having the wings and they were good again, maybe even better this time. The toppings were fresh and the taste was good. I think I was a little over priced for a personal pizza, but again I enjoyed it.

Menu board is filled with lots of Italian favorites!!

The girl at the counter is so sweet. Quick, fast, freshly made. Got the eggplant parm sandwich and 2 slices. Excellent!!! Definitely coming back. Menu is full of Italian restaurant favorites!!!

I went to Mario's Pizzeria with a larger group and they made one long table for us which was nice. Instead of having us order at the register, they did their best to provide table service, taking the orders and bringing out the drinks and food. I went with the garlic knots appetizer and the cheese ravioli. My food was very good. The service could have been better. Although they were friendly when I entered, I was ignored at the cash register to pay. We were to tell what we ordered to make easier on the staff for separate checks. There were two registers but it seemed like one wanted to handle everything. I think we too large of a group for the restaurant to handle. I'd return for take out or with a smaller group.

Come on guys what happened to the "Amanda pizza" Chicken Franchise Pizza. That's the best pizza ever!!!

Half cheese/ half pepperoni pizza. One slice barely had any pepperoni and one slice a had a few.. a bit disappointed on it

Ambiance, it's in a gas station strip mall, but I take nothing away from it based on it. The workers are very nice and there's limited seating, but some. We ordered both a Stromboli and a 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni pizza. The Stromboli was tasty, but the ends have no toppings nor cheese.. just a glorified bread stick. But it was tasty. Pizza, also very good, but the toppings left a little too be desired. They could have done a much better job on that. Overall, very good and would definitely go back.

This was basically our last meal on our trip to North Carolina and we enjoyed it very much. For the price the large pizza was a good value and the choice of the night was half pepperoni/half sausage and thankfully Mario's doesn't use crumbled sausage but sliced. The crust was definitely a NY style and the sauce was rich and tasty. Good pizza.

OK pizza at this new-ish shop. Stopped in on a late Saturday afternoon. We were the only customers. There are 10 tables inside and 4 outside. They offer table service or you can order at the counter and they will bring to the table. Everything was spotlessly clean. Menu easy to read and has all the usual pizza-place staples. The young lady at the counter was super friendly and helpful. Ordered 2 slices and a soft drink. The pizza is NY-style. Crust nicely crunchy and well cooked. The cheese - to-sauce ratio was a little off to my taste, with too much cheese and not enough sauce. The resulting slices were kind of soggy as a result. Not bad pizza, just not as good as it could have been. Next time will try a whole pie, plus some of the other menu items.

Hidden behind a gas station, but really good pizza, very close to NY style. The cheesy garlic bread is great too.

Vlad here, describing our GO-TO pizza place here in Wake Forest: George's Pizzeria. Y'all know I tend to focus on local gems, and this place is in our top 5 eateries for immediate eye-rolling gratification and tasty leftovers regularly in our fridge. We are coming up on 2 years as WF residents, and have eaten at - or picked up for in-home dining - George's pizza, wings, calamari and other awesome fare - this review is long overdue. We have taken out-of-town visitors and family to George's, with rave reviews and amazement over the fresh flavor and relaxing ambiance. Located on White Street alongside local seldom-used train tracks with plenty of on-street and private lot parking, this wheelchair-accessible hideaway is close and easy to get to. We frequently dine in, enjoying epic service from the small and efficient wait staff - yesterday we were privileged to have the amazing Emma serve us - the epitome of friendliness and rapid efficiency, featured in one of the pics posted. We always get a tailored Meat Lover's pizza (large, of course, so we can enjoy more of it later in the week!) and the unbelievably crispy and tasty wings, along with ice cold beers - HEAVEN! See the pics for more details, and then GO TO GEORGE'S PIZZERIA and see for yourself what I'm talkin about!

He was hard working, always gave refills, and was kind. He was definitely the highlight of our visit. The ambiance is that of an old-school pizza parlor from the 90s, but it didn't feel nostalgic, it felt boring. Unfortunately, the food was just okay. I ordered the Milton's Special pizza and it was fine. Nothing to rave about but nothing to want to come back to, either. My friend ordered a pizza as well. It's nice that they have GF options. She wasn't too impressed with her choice, either. It tasted like it could have come from the freezer at the grocery store, it was very generic in flavor. The service was really the best part of our entire meal. 10/10 service, 4/10 food

Food came quick, order was correct and she made sure our glasses were never empty. Food is ok. Didn't order pizza, as was in the mood for other Italian specialties. The garlic knots were interesting. Reminded me of crescent rolls made out of pizza dough. They're served dry, with a cup of garlic butter dipping sauce. Tasty enough, but not really how I envisioned them, slathered in butter with chunks of garlic, served in a basket. Baked ziti was ok but bland. Pasta slightly overcooked so it was mushy. Sauce is good though, a little sweet. Similar experience with the fettucine. Fettucine cooked right, sauce didn't have any zest to it. Will give another try, next time to taste the pizza.
