Love this place, especially since they deliver. Of all the pizza places I've tried in the Triangle since moving here, they are one of the best - and affordable too. So why not 5 stars? Well, they always seem super busy (which is good?) and almost always have to put you on an immediate hold when you call in. You can't order online, and there have been times that it has taken over an hour and a half to receive our (now cold) delivered pizzas. Lucky their food heats up well. Taste is good . My pizzas texture was definitely different. The pizzas cooked too long. Crust to me is different, more rubbery. When I was eating ,the sauce even seemed cheaper. I do think ingredients are cheaper. I may try again but not a lot more times if it doesn't get better. It's expensive. Also owner called me to make right. Gave me a discount off next time but seemed kind of put out that I didn't call immediately .. I had guest and company to tend too. I've been a loyal customer of Sergio's Pizza for nearly a decade, but today's experience was incredibly disappointing. I ordered a large everything pizza and specifically asked that the crust not be burned and for the toppings to be fully cooked. When I got home, I discovered the opposite as the crust and toppings were both undercooked. In fact, the pizza was cold. I called and spoke with Isaac, who seemed unsure about how to resolve the issue. I offered to bring the pizza back and suggested they remake it. This meant waiting for 30 minutes for the pie to be remade and enduring Louisburg rush hour traffic. Instead of owning the mistake, Isaac told me that because I had taken a bite, I'd have to pay for a second pizza. Alternatively, he said I could come back the next day at 11:00 AM to speak with the owner, something I don't feel a loyal customer should have to do. I gave him my contact information for the owner to call me at his convenience. After some back and forth, Isaac contacted the owner, who chose not to call his customer, but relayed through his employee that "this time" I could bring it back and they would remake it. That phrasing made it feel like they were doing me a favor rather than making good on a subpar product. I'm not sure what Sergio's means when they advertise "True New York Style," but I assumed that referred to the quality of their pies, not the attitude. Today's experience fell far short on both accounts. P.S. If you look really close, you can see the size of the bite. This is a new owner (Mario)BTW. The old owner sold the place and is back in NY. I even tried to email the owner before writing this, but couldn't find any contact information. I had stopped coming to this location because the service was so poor, but I got desperate and went back last month--great pizza, but still disappointing service. Last night I tried again, arriving around 8:00 PM. The restaurant was empty. The staff asked me to wait because they were on the phone, so I stepped aside and waited about 5-10 minutes. While I was still standing there, another woman walked in; they immediately greeted her and took her order. I looked at them, but they wouldn't even acknowledge me. Customer for the last 5 years. Got a lasagna that had little meat in it and a big slice of cheese on top. Different cook? It was awful. I called and I had to drive back up there to get a refund. I asked for a drink for my time and was refused. The young guy in charge also explained to me how the dish was cooked.. I make better lasagna than what I paid for here. No way to treat customers. This was the worst experience I have had yet with Sergio's. When I first moved here in 2016, they were amazing. They paid attention to detail and had premium customer service. They have since become a conveyor belt and I have horrible employees that do not care about their customers even the slightest. This pitiful salad if that's what you wanna call, it was given to my wife and I after a long day of flying back to Raleigh, and looking forward to what we thought would be some great New York fair. After flying home, and opening up this very disappointing salad I simply called back to Sergio told him how disappointed I was, and rather than ask me what they could do to amend their performance or exchange the salary, the severely customer service deficient person that picked up the phone said simply OK. guys I moved here from long island NY and im a total pizza snob. been in NC for 6 months and this spot was recommended from a fellow NC transplant from brooklyn. This pizza is really good, delicious. the Veggie pizza is so goood I had to post a review. crunchy with slight char on broccoli but not soggy or watery which is common for veggie pies as the veggies leak out water when cooked. im super impressed. sauce isnt overly acidic or salty, and tastes like real tomato not just spices. this is the best pizza ive been looking for since moving to NC! ill tell everyone about these guys! read more

This used to be my favorite pizza in the area. Not sure why, but this place has gone downhill fast. Waited 10 mins on hold. They told me 20 minutes. Showed up 25 minutes later and they had us waiting about 20 minutes. I witnessed the cashier handle money, the phone, then handle someone's food. I saw a woman come from the back with hair all over the place with a tray of garlic knots which were burnt. Literally cob webs swinging in the breeze directly over where they made the pizza. My family and I are long time customers. Something definitely has changed. I ordered, and waited and watched several people after me receive their food. I parked right in front and noticed a strange man looking in my car at my kids so I came out and sat to wait in car. I called inside to ask if they could please bring pizza out because my kids were in the car. They placed me on hold twice not realizing I was looking right at them. I had to call again to get a person. Based on their reaction I could tell if was a problem (although he said yeah that's fine) AND they had never even put my pizza in the oven. After sitting even longer, I got out, locked my door, they saw me coming and handed me my pizza without one word. Extremely disappointing. I have spent a great deal of money here. read more

Awesome New York style pizza. If you are looking for a quick pizza fix, then this is definitely the place to visit. The service is quick by the slice and the prices are reasonable. I ordered the grandma slice and pepperoni mushroom. Both were delicious but I think I was partial to the grandma slice with its unique name and the sauce on top. The grandma slice is basically a margherita without tomato and the sauce is on top. I am very satisfied and will return next time I'm in the area. read more

The server grabbed my food right away, although put it on the counter in front of me, and proceeded to look at somebody else's order instead of ringing me up. We have eaten Sergio's pizza, Louisburg, NC, several times and generally been very satisfied, primarily because the pizza really is that really thin foldable crust we love about NY pizza. And generally very friendly group and great service. This evening I called in our large mushroom and pepperoni order as I always do and drove over to pick it up. The first guy said they had no record of my order. A couple of minutes later, a second guy said they did have it, but clearly they had not started making it at least 15 minutes after I had called it in. Nonetheless, I waited patiently because we love the pizza. So when I got it nearly 20 minutes later, I was cool with it and took it home. I got home to find they gave me sausage and pepperoni, not mushroom pepperoni. Also, the crust was much thicker than normal, very bready, a basic pizza we can get anywhere around here. Overall, very disappointing. We don't eat out much, so when this happens, it just sucks. We have loved their pizza, so we will order it again, hoping tonight's experience was a one-off. But a second time will likely be a deal breaker. Hope they get it together. read more

We love this place!!! It's been our go to pizza spot for many years! The garlic knot pizza started off as our family favorite, but the more we ventured through the menu most everything is very good! My new personal favorite is a Philly cheesesteak calzone! Omg! It's to die for! Honestly all the calzones are great...and HUGE!! I LOVE ricotta cheese!! The sandwiches are also amazing! The bread is delicious! It's the best pizza place on this side of town. The customer service is always great, the ONE time my order was slightly wrong (I ordered extra ricotta..they misheard and put NO ricotta) not only did they make a brand new one they gave us the wrong one to keep and was very apologetic.
