The pizza crust was perfect, it didn't fold and loose its cheese like others. The cheese was perfect not too much and not too little. The sauce delicious!! My family and I tried to dine at salvios on Father's Day. They were offering a promotion for a few free slices for dad and kids. we arrived and asked if they had a high chair which we needed for our toddler. They did not, so we changed our dine in to to go. Which should have been fine because no where in the email did it state that the promotion was for dine in only. we ordered a few other things besides the slices and when the cashier gave us the total it was clearly not including the promotion, when I asked about it she said that it was for dine in only, I tried to show her the email and she wasn't interested and just said it didn't matter it's for dine in only. Even though the reason we couldn't dine in was because they didn't offer a high chair. We had a hungry toddler with us so we didn't exactly have the time for back and forth so we ended up leaving. After banging on the door somebody finally opened up. I asked if I could get a refill really quick and they told me no. This was at 8:15. The pizza by the slice here is great stuff. The toppings taste great and they have a good array of them to custom make your slices to your liking. Once the slices are custom made to order they go to the oven and this part is what I like...they come out with a good crisp crust after their time in the oven (not overdone or burnt). I just do not like floppy flimsy pizza crust at any time. This crust is a good firm crunch as well as the toppings tasting just right. First time review here. Brooklyn Boy's was closed, so we decided to give this place a go. Based on a high Yelp score I had reasonable high hopes, but was let down. Arrived a bit after 11am on a Wed. Considered getting a pie, but didn't want to wait the 15 or so minutes we were told it would take to get a fresh pie, so we ordered individual slices thinking it'd be quicker. Utterly annoyed that it took close to 25 minutes for the pizzas to be served! Granted they appeared to be getting busier as we waited, but still it kind of defeated the whole purpose of getting in/out quickly. Pizza finally arrived. Presentation was nice. Neopolitan slices appear to be larger than average, and ultra thin which got me all kinds of excited. They were slightly over-warmed, perhaps they sat too long in the oven, and therefore they were a bit harder on the cardboard scale. Overall, the dough was on the bland side, and the pepperoni topping was just slightly warmed, and not crispier as I would have hoped, considering I spent this as a valuable cheat meal. Anyways, overall, I would say Meh. I've experienced better. Then again, I'm from NY, so the bar on my expectations are set unusually high. Not sure what all the Yelp hype is about here. The slices are thin and wide, and the toppings are legit. The cheese is just gooey enough, but doesn't leave large puddles of grease like most attempts at NY pizza with the wrong type of cheese. We got the veggie lovers and the meat lovers, with a large house salad, enough to feed a small army. The salad was fresh and crispy, with a bright Italian sauce. The pizza was gone in minutes. Our first time trying here. We ordered a calzone, baked ziti and a antipasti salad. First off the salad had lunch meat cut up on it and strewn over top was shredded mozzarella cheese and the flavor of it was bland. It was very boring. The calzone had no flavor from the sauce, the cheese was almost liquified and had no consistency or texture and the ham was in giant pieces. The baked ziti must use the same sauce as the calzone so no flavor there. Now the staff was extremely friendly and maybe we should have just ordered a pizza although one would argue the same sauce would be in the pizza.
