    Slice of their cheese pizza
    Scott K.

Went in for a slice of cheese pizza. Ordered & then waited while they made 3 pizzas. Got my slice finally & it looks like they made it yesterday. Lots of pizzas already cooked in the kitchen. The guy did come out & offered to give me 2 slices & refund.. so I changed the rating to a 2 from a one. He apologized.

Overall, one of the best pizza / subs spots in the area. Pizza toppings are always plentiful, subs are always toasty (had some subs slightly well done, but not a deal breaker, great slices at lunch. Staff is short and to the point, but the food is great for take out. It's a winner.

    Pepperoni stuffed garlic knots

Oh, dear fellow pizza enthusiasts, gather 'round, for I have a tale to tell about a place called Salvio's and a hero named Ricky. Let's start with their Instagram, which has been taunting me for months with these mouthwatering, pepperoni stuffed garlic knots. It's like Ricky took a regular pizza and said, "Nah, let's roll these pepperonis up and make them portable works of art!" The result? A heavenly snack that you'll swear was crafted by the pizza gods themselves. I mean, who needs plain old pepperoni slices when you can have them wrapped in warm, fluffy dough, covered in garlicky butter sauce, oozing with cheese? Ricky, you've changed the pizza game forever. It's so ridiculously delicious that it should be illegal. These knots are the culinary equivalent of a magic trick, a delightful surprise hidden within each bite. The food at This Pizza Paradise is incredible, no doubt, but it's the customer service that truly sets this place apart. The entire staff greeted each customer with a smile, and the team was working hard on a Friday night. Ricky went out of his way to make my pizza roll dreams come true and that alone, deserves the 5-star review. So, my fellow pizza aficionados, this is your destination. In addition to the stuffed pizza rolls, we enjoyed a large pie cooked to perfection and topped just as we'd like, crispy wings and some good ole' fashioned regular garlic knots. 10/10 this is our new pizza spot.

Front counter. Nice and simple. Straight to the point.

Good pizza. We ordered pepperoni and pepperoni, mushrooms, jalapeños. My husband loved the amount of jalapeños on the pizza compared to others that barely add any. We'll definitely be back.

Great pizza place. No flop! Mice and crispy Krust with good quality ingredients. We come here pretty often. Highly recommend it. Try the hot honey pepperoni slice

Tried the pizza and chicken parm sub. The pizza wasn't that bad but it also wasn't very good. Crust was overly dry and chewy and not particularly flavorful. The cheese wasn't anything to write home about. The toppings were fine though. The chicken parm sub was a little too well done, and the chicken inside was dry and had some chewy bites. The bites that had cheese and sauce were decent enough. Not great and skews this overall rating down.

This place is right down the street from me and I've never been until now. What gives with that. The Chicken Florentine pizza is so good. Oh man. The cannoli was amazing and so was the Stromboli. I'll be back.

Our go to place for Friday pizza !! Close by - hubby picks up on his way home from work. I always order online. The order is always correct and ready in the time that's given. The pizza is hot and fresh and their crust is obviously home made. Crispy and cooked just right. We have only had their pizza but I'm sure everything they serve is delicious. Give them a try. Order online. They usually always have a discount code available.

The birthday girl turned 94 and it was her first time at Rigos. She loved it and is looking forward to returning. She chose the lasagna that came with bread and salad. I got the bolognese pasta that also comes with bread and salad. The salads were fresh and a good size for a side salad. There's a wide choice of dressings and a Caesar salad as well. The salads and hot bread came out first then a short time later the entrees. Both entrees were delivered quickly and hot. Both were delicious.. The drinks are self serve and the choices are sodas and tea. When they found out it was her birthday they insisted she chose a dessert . She chose the cheesecake and shared with me and it was wonderful. Thanks to the staff for making this special birthday a great treat for our family.

I was about to order 2 but ended up buying only 1 after being surprised to see that price spiked to $35. It's not like they added any premium ingredients or enhanced it any way. Yeah, it's specialty good but not worth $35 in my book. On top of that, there's a $2 service fee for a pick up order, and when asked to get extra masala sauce and garlic sauce, I got charged extra for those on top of the overpriced pizza. Final bill reached to about $44. For that amount, I could get 2 Extra Large pizzas at Marco's. As much as I love Rigo's Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza, I just think the price increase is ridiculous. At least 1 small container of garlic sauce should be complimentary (like Marco's) but can't believe they charged me extra for that. The lady at the cashier was friendly, and gave me some crushed red pepper and parmesan cheese for free, so that part was nice, but sadly, I probably won't be returning to Rigo's anytime soon after this disappointing experience. Ambiance is small and casual space so Rigo's is more ideal for take out. | Overall Score: 3.4/5

I'm super super happy to say that everything that made this place so wonderful seven years ago is still here. The pizza is still spot on, the portions are still huge, and the value for the money can't be beat. The employees were friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome when we walked through the door and during our time eating . My notoriously picky son who was not here with us seven years ago loved the pizza so much that he told us that he wants to live here in the restaurant (and I'm not convinced that he's kidding). I don't know when we'll next be in Cary, but as long as Johnny's Pizza is here, they'll have loyal customers in me and my family. Di Fara is hands down the best pizza in town and as good as pizza in NYC…read more We had a server named Barbara the last time we were here during the day who was great, friendly and gave a definite NY authenticity to the experience. I really like their meatballs. Definitely ask the price of a side of marinara before you order it. It's good but expensive. Service is inconsistent. Other times we've been here we had servers that seemed to have no interest in being there. I don't know if this is still the case, but if you order a slice to go, they don't let you sit outside and eat it at one of their tables, even if they're not crowded. For a while they had some cheesy (no pun intended) hand written signs telling you not to sit at the tables. It said outside seating is for customers only or something like that. And it was unclear that meant outside tables are for full service dining only. I can see if people were waiting to be seated or you were trying to eat food from another restaurant there. It seemed weird to get chased away for being their customer. If you're getting a slice to go you hopefully would be there 15-20 minutes at most. It was so off-putting I have to include it in the review even though it happened a while ago. Just set your expectations...pizza is 5 stars, service is 3-4 stars, cost 3 stars.

The Good & The Bad…read more Honestly, I wanted to give this place four stars, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Got a white pie, maybe 18" basil olives and meatballs Also got 3 large meatballs on the side And a woodford old fashioned The pie was genuinely good. Was it worth $90? Maybe... The only real complaint about the food is it wasn't cut cleanly to the crust. The meatballs were also above average; flavorful throughout. I ate just 2 slices (so far) But I cannot in good conscience recommend for anyone to come here based on my experience. Here's the part that's indefensible. I asked if outdoor seating was open and was told to sit anywhere outside and someone would serve me. After five minutes alone out there, I went back in, and the hostess again assured me someone was coming. Nobody did. I finally hunted down a waitress who didn't know if outdoor seating was even open -- she checked, came back, and told me I'd have to sit inside. Seating a guest is the most basic function of a restaurant, and I was told three different things by three different people. I ended up at the bar, which wasn't gross, but wasn't clean either. Small menu, long waits, and at $90 for one person you expect something closer to a fine experience -- not a rowdy pub with poor service. And that falls on management, not the staff.
