The staff here were pleasant. I enjoyed the cheese pizza. The slices were huge, so well worth the price that I initially thought was way too pricey. I also enjoyed the IBC cherry lime aid bottled beverage. After I received my food and was seated I noticed an employee behind the counter untwisting hair and handling putting and pulling pizza out of the oven. The individual tending to hair raised hygiene and food safety concerns.

I stopped by here one evening after attending a local event with a date. We wanted something quick and close and this was it! The pizza is a little pricy but it was good and fresh. I would return!

Came here after day drinking for a cheap but satisfying bite. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is your typical "dive bar" aesthetic pizza parlor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pizza was ready fairly quick and the dipping sauce for the pizza was fantastic--reminds me of papa John's a bit. I was very excited that they had Diet Cream Soda--I didn't know this existed. $5 a slice but for the size, this is a great price. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I thought it was solid for the type of place--open fairly late too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Good service and tasty pizza portion size was amazing it's basically 2 slices in one. Definitely a go to spot if your bar hopping and need to feed the liquor you have consumed.

I came here with my mom and my daughter. The service was great it was fast. The food was very hot. The slices are gigantic. The pizzas are thin so if you like thin pizza, this will be your place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]they do have bathrooms for customers, which can be a little bit more clean but overall it was a great shop[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]they have seating inside and outside[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] cheese slice are 5 and basically every other piece is 6.50 the Joe mango lemonade was very good I didn't get a picture sadly and my mom had the Joe half and half tea and lemonade she said it was delicious will be back

Never have I ever continued to talk about a place as much as I've talked about Benny Capitale's. After a recommendation from a bartender, we walked in, late at night, and left quickly with a giant piece of amazing pizza. They had a variety of toppings (parm, red pepper, and basalmic) and pizza slices that are ready to go. Service was quick, kind, and the place was easy to find. If you're looking for late night pizza, Benny Capitale's is the place in Raleigh.

If you're craving a late night snack after a long night of drinking in Downtown Raleigh then Bennys got you covered. They are known for their ginormous slices of pizza and are open late. I always end up going to Bennys late night after being out with friends having a couple of drinks. The pizza itself is not out of the world but it gets the job done for a late night meal.

Massive slices of pizza with a crispy and relatively thin crust. IMO, you're best served by purchasing by the slice. A single slice should suffice. Two slices will certainly satisfy any hunger. As with any pizza, dine in is also recommended. With that beingbdaid and should you choose to takeout, their largest pizza 28" ranging from $36 - $42 dollars. Dining room is fairly small but should seat about 20. There's also a cooler or two near the register with assorted beverages. You can also dine outside on the sidewalk.

This place was amazing! Such great pizza! Reminds me of some of the of the pizza I used to have when I lived in New York City! Customer service was great they were very friendly! Joshua is awesome! My friend had the sausage pizza and I had the mushroom garlic pizza. One slice was definitely enough! They do sell really huge pizzas as well! The art inside is pretty cool and different too. Good location right downtown. Next time I am here I will definitely get another slice!

    Pizza was fresh and delish!!!!!!

The restaurant is nice and dimly lit with plenty of seating, but you will have to find street parking around Glenwood. We were a party of 6 and they pulled together tables to accommodate us. Our server was a little slow but still friendly. For starters we got a Margherita pizza, calamari, the grilled caesar, and they brought us a complimentary bread basket with oil. Everything except the caesar was good. I guess we didn't expect the caesar to taste THAT charred and the lettuce to not be chopped. For main entrees, we ordered lasagna, lobster ravioli, penne alla vodka, and alfredo. The vodka pasta and lasagna were unflavored and disliked among the table. I would not recommend those dishes. The alfredo was okay. The best dish was the lobster ravioli.

"Best Pizza" many years running back when that actually meant something. Now? It feels less like a restaurant and more like a nostalgic reenactment gone very wrong. The menu still reads like a dream--Carolina crust this, atomic sauce that--but ordering has become a real exercise in imagination. Half the ingredients are apparently on a spiritual journey and no longer physically present. You'll ask for sharp cheddar and get a thoughtful pause, followed by, "We don't have sharp cheddar, we might have a Wisconsin sharp cheddar?" --which, to their credit, has the word "cheddar" in it. The staff move with the energy of a group project that everyone forgot was due today. Pizzas emerge... interpretively. You might order a margherita and receive something that captures its essence, emotionally, if not structurally. It's less "wrong order" and more "pizza as a suggestion." A master of creative problem-solving, this cashier has boldly redefined the concept of "making change." Why fumble with buttons and math when you can simply hand over two beers and call it even? It's less of a transaction and more of a surprise gift exchange--one where the rules are unclear and the outcome is mildly concerning. And the wine list--oh, the wine list--is a beautiful historical document. A relic. A time capsule from at least six months ago, when bottles still existed and hope flowed freely. Now, asking for wine feels like asking about a long-lost friend. "We don't have that," they'll say, gazing into the middle distance. Still, there's something oddly annoying about it all. Like walking into a once-revered theater that still clings to its golden-age reputation. The performances feel like echoes rather than art, the lighting flat where it once dazzled, and every scene drags with the weight of trying to live up to a forgotten past. It's not bad enough to be a disaster--just disappointing enough to make you wonder if the hype was ever real or if you're just eating the ghost of someone else's great experience. Cheers!
