"Unexpected Delight" I've tried the pizza here a few years ago, and it left a lot to be desired. Fast forward to now, a family member purchased the all cheese calzone and it was delightful! While the crust maybe commercially purchased, the cheese blend was sooo good. If I had to guess, a mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan cheese blend. Crust is bathed in (I mean this in a good way) a garlic oil blend. I generally consider myself a Stromboli person, but this was a delightful surprise. Ordered to go and heated at home. Honestly, I have been past here so many times, but never gave it a try. They dough is really good, especially if you get it a bit more extra crispy. Great food, friendly folks, and conveniently located near the leesville area hoods of west lake, Springdale, etc. We usually get the meat lovers and add green peppers to it! I just ate the worst pizza in my entire life. Tasted like they put cheese on the box and toasted it. That is how I imagine eating the cardboard pizza box taste like. Now I know. There was a few specs of sauce, but the sauce was non existent. It had no flavor since there was no sauce and just dough and cheese. It also was delivered cold so that just added to the insult. Best value for price of any place around. Good pizza, excellent wings (love the garlic parmesan flavor), and dynamite calzones. The tiramisu is phenomenal. Good marinara too - sometimes it's the little things, you know? Not really a sit down place, but take out and delivery are solid. Next to the grocery store. Order your pie, grab the milk, and roll home with dinner. They actually read the notes and listen to your order over the phone. And if for some reason they mess up - they put in the effort to make it right. It may not seem like a big deal, but genuine customer service and honest, ethical businesses are gems in the community. I'll say this for them. Your order will be correct. We had lunch for 30 with lots of alterations and these guys don't miss. Quality just wasn't there. The pizza is extremely mediocre and their chicken Alfredo gave two of us food poisoning. Dessert is really good. read more

Mega Pizza is sort of a crap shoot when it comes to service. It is run by a father-son duo, and the father is more accommodating to customized orders than the son is. Normally, when I customize an order, the father will gladly customize, but the last time I called in an order with a customization, the son acted like he couldn't do it, or he didn't know how to charge me for it, or some other such nonsense. I order from there sparingly because I never know what I'm going to get. Either I get outstanding service, or I get the bare minimum. I've gotten their steak and cheese sandwiches on a couple of occasions, and they were run-of-the-mill good, but God forbid you want to tweak it a little. read more

My initial review was 3 stars, but I had an experience with Mega just the other day that warrants 5 stars for the outstanding customer service I received! I called in a large order for cheesesteaks, most of them customized orders. The young lady that took my order was so pleasant and accommodating! I told her I really appreciated her taking all the orders, and she read all of them back to me perfectly, including the names of the people each sandwich was for! All the sandwiches were customized to perfection and absolutely delicious! I had the sandwiches picked up by my coworker and gave him extra cash to give to her specifically for her outstanding service. This was a horrible delivery experience. We ordered on a Monday night, shouldn't have been an issue. The delivery driver put our food on the ground in front of our house and never rang the doorbell or knocked. After 1.5 hours of waiting we went to take our trash out and stumbled across our food literally. It was obviously cold and god knows what had crawled through it. We called the establishment and they were complete jerks! Did not offer to remake our food or even resolve the issue. A large two topping pizza and 10 wings were $34 and horrible by the time we got it. Never ever ordering from here again. read more

Flavorful, delicious food and excellent customer service! We ordered a pepperoni and sausage deep dish pizza, hot wings, a chicken Caesar salad, cheesy bread, and baklava. The employee taking our pick-up order on the phone was friendly and double checked to ensure he had heard me correctly. The order was then ready when I arrived and the employee went through the order with me to ensure it was correct (without me even asking!). After paying for the order, the employee asked if I needed assistance carrying it to my car, I said I did not, and he went over and held open the door for me. The only issue we had with the order was that the chicken Caesar salad had black olives on it. It does not say on the menu brochure that this salad has olives on it. I would recommend that they either omit the olives from the salad or write on the menu that the Caesar salad contains olives. Luckily they were whole olives so I could easily remove them. We certainly plan to order from this establishment again due to their phenomenal customer service and their delicious food. read more

( first time trying Mega Pizza) I'm starting off with bad then good! I'd order a medium size cheese pizza with cheesy bread. Pizza Presentation beautiful taste wise horrible. Honestly it tasted like mucus ( when you're coughing and mucus come up ) Yeah I had one bite and immediately threw up. My boyfriend tried it and hated it. We tried Mega Pizza for the first time tonight and we definitely enjoyed it. I had read on social media that they won't allow delivery services to pick up food if they are unmasked, so I decided to try them out just based on their support of public health. We got a gyro and onion rings, boneless wings, and a thin crust pepperoni pizza for delivery. Everything was really good. Thin crust was definitely thin, just how my husband likes it he boneless wings were flavorful. The gyro had a generous amount of meat and tzatziki sauce, and the onion rings were still perfectly crispy when they got to the house. Delivery was also really quick. Not sure exactly how long, but we were surprised at how quickly it arrived after it was ordered. We will definitely order from again. read more

Horrible. Got some chicken wings to watch a basketball game with my friends. It came drenched in sauce. Took a bite and thought I had bitten into a bone. I checked it out and it was a strip of meat! So dry and hard it was like leather. Whole batch was like that. Must have been sitting around all day or maybe a few days. Threw it out. That makes 3 orders I gotten from this place. Awful. The crust is definitely a prefrozen crust and not hand tossed. You could even see the seam along the edge where it was in a mold. It was flat, flavorless and dense. Sooo disappointing and not cheap!! Over $40 worth of pizza and it was barely worth e. With all the pizza places around just skip this one. My kids love this place. We walked in on a whim and my kids (7 and 4 yrs old) ordered a large half cheese/ half pepperoni pizza...and ate the entire pizza. I had a bite of one slice and it tasted pretty good. Kinda like Cosco pizza, but better. The crust was soft and buttery, the sauce was good and the cheese was plentiful. Stopped in today in order to make a pie. Had a customized 25% pepperoni 25% roasted red pepper 25% fresh sliced sausage. Balance plain cheese. Thin crust pizza cooked perfectly so I could fold it in half without having it fall down and have the cheese drip all over me. The crust is flavorless, the sauce is thin, and the cheese taste like the fake cheese from the square pizzas served in the elementary schools. Well, those square pizzas may actually taste better so I take that back. To sum it all up... The pizza needs a lot of assistance. The customer service was magnificent.
