The restaurant gave me and my husband champagne to try to comp this I suppose but would've been better if they could've seated us all together. We started with the crab cakes and arancini. The crab cakes were fine. The otter crust was crunchy and perfect. The arancini was stuffed with cheese, rice, and meat and it was delicious. They were also crunchy on the outside but so soft and good on the inside. I had the tagliatelle. The noodles were prepared perfectly. It was almost as if I was in Italy. Something I noticed in Italy was that the noodles were never cooked too softly. They were still more firm but edible and delicious and that's how they were prepared at this restaurant in Raleigh. The dish was excellent and very tasty. My husband had the medium rare Ribeye with peppercorn sauce over mashed potatoes with sautéed seasonal vegetables. This dish was prepared perfectly. The ribeye was delicious and mashed potatoes had a great consistency about it and seasoned well.

We've been here a total of 3-4 times as of 6/25/26. This last time we had the Amberjack, gnocchi, little gem hearts, and peka, side of focaccia and 2 different bottles of wine. Everything this place has to office is other worldly truly. If you're not picking up the bowl of peka to drink the stew you're not doing it right. Everything about the dishes to the staff is perfect. The teamwork and the perfection that goes into these dishes is astonishing. I recommend doing a bunch of small plates to get a taste of everything.
