One of the best pizzas I've had EVER. The peruvian peppers are fire. Go with a half and half so you can try 2 flavors. Fresh, good quality and the crust is delicious! The chorizo looked like pepperoni and tasted like it was straight from Spain.

The food was absolutely great! Pizza crust so good. The cheese, excellent. The margharita was saucy ... the flavor top notch. Basil, very fresh. The pepperoni one was amazing! Get that one. The service was well above average, greeted and served promptly. It's good you order and then sit down. There is a great beer draft selection. The RBC option is smooth. The ambiance is super chill. Many picnic tables and outdoor seating. I'd come back!

It's been said everyone likes pizza, and I do like pizza, but rarely think to go out for it. Timber Pizza is so good! It's changed my thinking! At Timber Pizza the ingredients are so fresh and unique but without being odd. For example we had strawberry slices on our pizza and I wasn't quite sure. It was amazing! A little sweetness with the salty cheese and fresh herbs, great flavor combination. We started with the pork empanadas and they were delicious. Soft, crispy on the outside, perfect pork, side of sweet and tangy barbecue sauce. To drink I had a refreshing strawberry lemonade with bourbon and it was great. The service was awesome and the restaurant was clean and inviting. We went right when it opened on a Sunday so parking was easy but I imagine it could get difficult when busy.

This will be your go to pizza spot after trying just 1 slice. Me and my husband love pizza and we're selective. Papa John's is not what we consider quality pizza. Timbers pizza cooks in a brick oven, so you're served a crispy perfection slice. Your pizza is cooked on the spot so it's always served hot. It's not a huge establishment, it's comfortable. There's a bar we sit at while our pizza cooks and enjoy a local beer on tap. You'll be greeted with a friendly welcome when you walk in the door. The bartender always offers the best recommendations. We are new to NC we came from Dallas TX, we needed a pizza spot and we found it.

The pizza was really good and the staff was very friendly! However, the prices were super high. The only reason I wouldn't go back is how much money it was for a 2 person pizza dinner :/

Definitely a must go. Great atmosphere. Fast and friendly service. Food was delicious and I love how it's very light, thin and very flavorful

Excellent pizza and service. We would definitely return. A lot of different kinds of toppings.

We were very excited to get a Timber here in Raleigh (where Ladyfingers Catering used to be next to High Park). We remember it fondly from DC. Heads up the parking lot might be completely full, but don't let that stop you. There's plenty of street parking. We were afraid they were going to be packed when we went Sunday afternoon cause of the crowded lot, but we almost had the place to ourselves. Order at the counter. One pizza would have been just enough for the two of us, but we wanted to try two and love leftover pizza (didn't want to disappoint the dog either), so we got the Pretty in Pepperoni one and our remembered favorite, The Bentley. Very friendly Gal took our order and brought our drinks along with a pitcher of ice water. I was very happy with my $8 cabernet. The Bentley came out quickly and we were told they were remaking the Pepperoni one because it had gotten too charred. Love that they caught that before delivering it. We were offered cheese and crushed pepper. Love the Bentley! Has the right amount of heat to it. The little peppers are a pop of flavor. Pepperoni arrived and while good, paled in comparison to the Bentley. It was definitely missing the basil that the description said would be on it. Crusts for both were perfect. We love thin pizza with a slightly bubbly/charred crust.

Since this was our 1st visit, a lovely employee explained the process. You can sit and look over the menu but then you order at the counter. They will bring you water & plates; then you get a number when you order for your food delivery. My fav was the Lucy with a delicious cheese variety and cauliflower crumbled to mimic sausage. It was so tasty with pretty edible flowers. The pepperoni was basic but had good flavor. The crust had a nice crisp char. There is a bar but no bartender that day so we just sat at one of the interior tables. We did have a draft beer as well.

So quick to get our food out! Lots of options to mix and match pizzas. I think the price is a bit high but other than that, it was all fantastic!

From the DMV to Raleigh, welcome Timber Pizza Co! We were so excited to try this Michelin award winning pizza company that just opened up in Five Points. We put in a to-go order for 2 pizzas, and they were ready and fresh at the requested time! They offer green, red, and white pizzas. We opted for a green and red this time - the Green Monster & the Pretty in Pepperoni. These are fairly thin & crisp pizzas, which my husband and I both prefer. The undercarriage was nicely crisp and slightly blackened, making for a sturdy pizza hold. The Pretty in Pepperoni pizza was surprisingly light - there was minimal tomato sauce and cheese, making it easily "crushable" as my husband likes to say. The Green Monster was a bit heftier comparatively, but still on the lighter side for a pizza. There was a fair amount of kale on this and the pesto gave it a nice, herbaceous flavor. The white pizzas sounded absolutely delicious, so we will definitely be back for some of those and for their empanadas. This is a fun new pizza spot and great new addition to Raleigh's Five Points area! *Green Monster: pesto, fresh mozzarella, feta cheese, zucchini, kale *Pretty in Pepperoni: tomato sauce, provolone & mozzarella blend, fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, basil

    The bambino minus meatballs

I typically venture to Durham for pizza and decided to bet on a new place in Raleigh. Timber did not disappoint! The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the bambino without meatballs and added oregano and smoked paprika. I really appreciated a cost deduction for removing the meatballs. As a vegetarian, I've never understood why some places still charge the same premium even when you ask for meat to be removed. So thank you Timber! Additionally, the pizza is excellent! The bambino is layered with spicy honey marina, pesto, mozzarella, and garlic oil. The pizza is very light and fresh. The flavors complement each other very well. And when you eat the pizza, you don't get overstuffed or bloated bc you can tell they are using high quality dough. The restaurant is full service and has plenty of space for indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend if you're look to try a new pizza place with tasty and affordable options!

My roommates and I were craving pizza and a quick google search for "Raleigh's best pizza" brought us to Timber Pizza. We both got the cheese please (to go) and it was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to actually dine in and bring people along with me next time!

Wife and I started our quick little anniversary getaway here, and they nailed it. The place itself is gorgeous. Huge patio with greenery, baller bar area in the middle of the upscale open space, which gives a modern and chic vibe. That problem I mentioned? Deciding what we were going to order off of the amazingly stacked tapas menu. One sounded better than the other, plates coming out to the left and right of us...we were deer in headlights not knowing what to do, words didn't come out when our friendly and knowledgeable server came by. As far as problems go at a restaurant, I guess it could have been worse. With helpful guidance and knowing our love for anything foodie related, we just started picking one by one after a few sips of our well balanced cocktails (another large menu with anything and everything for fellow cocktail lovers out there). Had to go with a meat and charcuterie board first. A decadent manchego, a creamy French that was smooth and tangy, plus a 20 month cured ham that was salty and smoky. Honestly everything that came out after was a 10/10. From the wild mushrooms, Wagyu carpaccio and bone marrow, to the pork belly, corn bunuelos and steak paillard...everything was cooked to perfection with amazing spices and sauces that complemented each dish perfectly. (See pics and captions for more details) These chefs and mixologists know what they're doing here. 2 managers came by our table to make sure everything was going well. Top notch service, top shelf food and drink, modern and upscale decor and vibe. A perfect concoction for a special night out with family or friends.

The ambiance is dark and nice for couples or friends. The booths at the bar are not the most comfortable, so I prefer a table. The tapas are those you find at a traditional Spanish tapas place. The papas being amongst the most popular are a good staple. The charcuterie is also very nice. The other tapas can be hit or miss depending on what is seasonally offered. On this visit, I wanted Brussels sprouts but they were no longer on the menu and the lamb was not a bone in lamb but rather ground meatballs. Not bad, just not what I expected. It's not a place I seek out to come, but it's solid food and drinks that fills a need when I want a late bite.

I ordered the whipped ricotta for an appetizer to share and a burger with fries for my entree. The whipped ricotta was ok. It would taste better with some sort of seasoning in it. My fries were served hot but needed some salt. I asked for my burger to be cooked well done but I was brought a burnt burger. I took one bite but it was too overcooked. I then requested that my server have my burger be cooked medium well so I didn't get another burnt burger. When my burger was brought back out, our server had me cut into my burger to make sure it was to my liking. The preparation was better but it was bland and tasted like there wasn't any seasoning on it. After this our server wasn't as attentive anymore. For dessert we got the donuts. They were served warm and I enjoyed them with the cherry sauce. I did not like the chocolate sauce that was served with the donuts.

I just don't think I expected what I got. Upon entering, I was received by a small very warm and beautifully lit bar that simply felt special. I looked over the available wine and asked the gentleman at the corner seat if the seat next to him was taken. Little did I know that the gracious gentleman who kindly offered me the seat was none other than the proprietor of Niche, Mr. Ted Powell and that's when my night really started as Ted graciously regaled me with amazing stories between the pause on the songs played by the band. What a vibrant spirit this man has. If you go here, you have to meet Ted. From telling me about how he acquired the place, his daughter, Budstock, Maverick Rose Music Hour, and sharing details of each nights events at Niche, he made my first visit (just me myself and I) a beautiful one. He couldn't stop talking about how wonderful a mixologist Andy is. Don't get it twisted. This man is more than a bartender. He's a diplomatic mixologist who knows how to let patrons know, in the most respectful but boundary maintaining way, how to behave.
