The place is definitely not much to look at, I actually passed it before realizing it was in the gas station. It is Totally worth it! Local pizzeria that emphasizes quality. In addition to pizza, they offer subs, salads, and wings. We enjoyed their pizza, but did not like the Buffalo wings (no flavor). I am especially fond of their pepperoni extreme pizza. The prices are reasonable and they offer takeout and delivery options. The online ordering system is easy to use and provides accurate delivery times. If you choose no-contact delivery, it certainly is no-contact. They won't even knock or ring the doorbell. We kept an eye out for it and preferred this option. We recommend this restaurant to others and plan to order from here again! read more

Decent pizza with delivery service in our area (only location in North Carolina!) We went with the $12 large pepperoni (three styles of pepperoni topping). I thought the pizza was tasty but the crust is a bit on the doughy side. Their specialty ranch didn't have a distinct flavor to me. Delivery came five minutes early as well. read more

We ordered due to coupons received and desperation to try something different . 1st order, family deal that comes with wings and garlic nots with 2 large pizzas. The pepperoni pizza is delicious and the cheese want half bad either. Garlic knots and wings were good as well. We then ordered again about a week later, same thing the pizza was great . This place is inside a gas station which is the trend in NC but that doesn't mean you can't find good pizza but don't be misled. Pizza was just okay...that's it. Chanello's is the real deal. The pizza is great- the sauce is delicious, the veggies fresh - you know how many places use canned mushrooms? Not Channelo's. The garlic knots are, as is often stated, pretty amazing and the chocolate chip cookie dessert arrived warm and chewy. The delivery is always super fast. Ventured out to Chanello's for the first time, and ordered a little bit of everything: Pizza, wings, chessesteak. All exceeded expectations. While the wings were a little small, they sell them by the pound so you get plenty of 'em and they tasted great. The pizza I got was all the way and had plenty of toppings and cheese. Toppings were distributed plentifully and evenly. At some pizza joints I would have to order extra cheese to get what I got at Chanello's. They didn't put any parmesan or crushed red peppers in my stuff, but I forgot to ask, so they probably have 'em. The cheesesteak comes with real (non-cheeze whiz) cheese and comes with onions, green peppers and mushrooms. It traveled well (as did the pizza) on my 15 minute trip home. I came during the dinner rush, but the counter help was courteous and helpful as I sorted out the menu for this first visit. The staff probably had an average age of 35, which was refreshing versus the normal gang of teenagers that have a varying degree of "giveacrapness". These guys at Chanello's worked hard, everyone was in motion, and they got me in and out just fine. While not the prettiest thing to behold, they actually smiled! :) The location is shared with a convenience store (with a friendly clerk, too), and there is not an inside place to sit, but the wait was brief. The open kitchen looked pretty clean although they were busy, and I didn't visit the men's room so no comment there. Parking was plentiful as the next door bookkeeping place closes before the dinner rush. I also didn't think to look if they did any lunch by-the-slice kind of stuff. Not Italian Pizzaria grade pizza, but definitely good stuff. Anyone thinking about Pizza Hut/Domino's/Gumby's/Hungy Howie's should give Chanello's (a Virginia-based chain) a whirl. My husband and we're a little skeptical to order from here and after trying the chain pizza restaurants in Garner (which all suck) we decided to give them a try. Omg this place is so good!!!! The pizza is amazing, the dough is nice, airy and light. And I normally would never eat the crust because of cutting back on carbs but I devoured the whole thing! Will not be going back. Ordered online with a scheduled pick up time of 45 minutes later. I arrived a few minutes early and they had not even made the pizza. Told me that their system was new and there were some problems, not really an apology. Felt that the two female employees are not very into customer service. Ordered a plain cheese pie. Crust is not hand tossed, it was spread out and then run over with an implement that looks like a mini aerator. Tasted flat and was a bit tough. Sauce and cheese were average. When we moved to Garner, we were a little nervous about not having the huge selection of pizza places around us that we were used to. We decided to try Chanello's based off of a flyer in our mailbox. I am so glad we did. They make some of the best pizza/garlic knots we have ever had. We have ordered from Chanello's 10 times and every single time, the pizza is insanely good. We get the Steak n' Cheese pizza, probably my favorite one on the menu. The way they cook their pizza crust is also amazing. I never eat the crust on my pizza, but from Chanello's, I always do. I already knew that the pizza was fairly bad having tried it on a lunch break before, but I really wanted some subs delivered to my home today so I figured I'd give them a shot. Firstly, I loved being able to order online. The ordering process is easier and more intuitive than Domino's, and you don't have to download an app. Secondly, the pizza was delivered swiftly, and was still piping hot. Didn't have to tip at the door or sign anything, as the tip was given online beforehand. The pizza was laden with fresh ingredients and it was delicious. I'm one of those weirdos who likes anchovies, and I loved the way they incorporated them. They slipped them under the cheese so they wouldn't slide around, unlike other places. The only thing I think they could change would be to offer fresh basil as a topping. Otherwise, excellent pizza. Will buy from again, and possibly try some of their other offerings. read more

Ordered online, 1.5 hours later I called and was told the online ordering wasn't working due to an internet issue. The manager was very apologetic and offered to get the order out STAT, and offered me a Dessert item as an apology. It did arrive but not for another 25 minutes (i'm not but 7 minutes away). I paid extra for ranch dressing. When the order arrived, no dessert and no ranch dressing. I didn't even bother to call and complain because it would have taken maybe another 20-30 minutes to get it. Unexpectedly Above average pizza at a gas station. That's the best way to describe it. I've had the hand-tossed and the thin crust and both were equally good. I'm big on customer service and the men here are always nice, pleasant, and usually give you additional "treats" that you did not order. They have on occasion even brought our pizza out to our car. The food is decent but the delivery left a lot to be desired. The chicken fajita subs are pretty good. The thin crust pizza was not good. It tasted and looked like cheap frozen pizza from the grocery store. As for the delivery, they gave a delivery time of 4:29 and it wasn't delivered until 5:25. I understand running a little late. No problem but almost a FULL HOUR LATE is ridiculous. There wasn't even an apology for the delay from the driver. Our first experience was great. We tried a thin crust (supreme), a hand tossed (half sausage half cheese) and a ChocoChip cookie. It was all good. I really like their thin crust. Love that they deliver! The driver was very pleasant despite the fact that the bottom of the sky fell out right before he arrived and he ended up getting soaked. We will try them again. read more

They used to be great! Always have great pizza but now display poor customer service. Going downhill fast. Placed a delivery order of $63 dollars including tip. Went there a couple months ago, it was 11:00 a.m. I ordered 2 meatball subs, they made them but were having problems with payment operation. This place is in a gas station, so while the worker was running around, I went and got a bottle of Coke from the gas station worker and my payment went thru with no problem. Now I go back to the pizza worker and he wanted to run my card again and this went on for 3-4 times, I never knew whether I was getting charged each time or what! So then he says he didn't know what to do, could I take the sandwiches and come back to pay later! I told him No, so he said maybe I could use their in store ATM machine, of course with a $3.50 service charge and again I told him No. By now the sandwiches are cold. I noticed their sign by the door that says that if there is as issue with their product/service, that food would be price free, and I pointed that out to him and he paused and then laughed. I couldn't pay because their system was down, cold sandwiches on the counter. So I left and went to Subway. We have been here for pizza in the past with no issues, but this time was very POOR customer service, I hope they took their customer sign down and I wont be back. read more
