I love Detroit style pizza and I have been meaning to try Jets for years but have never gotten around to go there. Finally, today I did and am glad I did. I was happily greeted upon entering and was assisted in making my first order there. The abundant staff were all very pleasant and helpful. I ordered a large Detroit pizza with sausage and mushrooms. It was ready within 15 min. Besides looking incredible the weight of this pie was substantial. It was perfect. The crust was crunchy with melted cheese around the crust edges. The sauce was very good with a hint of sweetness and it was covered with delicious mozzarella. The sausage and mozzarella were the perfect accompaniment. This was a great pizza. Definitely deserving of a return visit. read more

I never really went here until I wanted a close nearby spot and decided to give it a shot. I have to admit I've been impressed with the flavor of their pizzas, especially the 8-corner deep dish pizza. The pizza ingredients seem fresh. However, I don't know how it can be so inconsistent from one pizza to the next about how burned the pizzas are. Sometimes I get the pizza and it's got a perfect crunch to the pepperonis, and other times I'll pick up the same exact pizza and the cupped pepperonis' ridges are so burned that they have that rancid flavor like they've been stuck on the bottom of an oven for 25 cycles. They need to figure out their quality control on the cooking times. Secondly, I've gotten their salads quite a few times and it's disappointing the lack of quality control there. See, they serve you your salad in a sealed paper bag so you really don't know what the ingredients' freshness looks like until you get home. I've been burned a few times with receiving rotten and/or wilted lettuce, tomatoes that are CLEARLY past their throwaway date. See attached picture. I've had to start ripping open the paper bag the salad is hidden inside while I'm still in the parking lot so I can go return it if I receive more wilted ingredients. read more

Was told by a friend on IG in Texas to check out Jets because of the customizable crust. So glad I followed her advice as it was super easy to order through text and pick it up. I got their 4 slice Detroit Deep dish which came with tons of topping options. I went with the pepperoni, premium mozarella, mushroom, and spinach. I also selected the garlic flavored crust. I picked up my order a couple of minutes before it was promised and it was pipping hot. The cheese pulled as I took my first bite and it just melted. My taste buds did a serious dance as I took more and more bites. The crust had a hit of carmel, garlic, and salt. Sooo super yummy! The rest of the toppings felt like sides as the crust and cheese were "it" for me! I am sold on Jet's pizza and I will be back here whenever I get a craving for some thick, delicious, and authentic pizza--did I mention how authentic and real the pizza tasted?!? This Friday we ordered from Jet's and went with a garden salad, Eugene Supreme pizza on a hand-tossed round turbo crust and 8 corner pepperoni Detroit-style deep dish pizza. We placed our order online and it was ready on time. All we had to do was pull up to the front, tell them our name and they brought it out to us. My favorite was the pepperoni pizza. Overall, it's good for a quick pizza but it was a tad greasy for me. read more

Really good take out pizza. "Detroit style" with thick crust. The crust is real nice and crunchy, and the cheese excellent. We also has the "Jet's bread" cheezy bread, and that was very tasty. Decided to try based on some reviews ..here are my thoughts : * I order the thin crust ..even though they are known for their thick crust ...it wasn't bad ..not great though .. cheese was good .. sauce was way too sweet..decent toppings ..of the chains which I do not tend to patronize..I like Pizza Huts thin crust the best ..it is truly a cracker thin crust and has a unique flavor to it ..haven't had it in years though as most huts in NC suck. I admit it. I'm fickle when it comes to pizza. I rotate amongst my favorite pizza places until a bad experience, boredom, or inconvenience. In between those bouts, I cheat with other pizza places. During one of those times, I came across Jets, a newly opened chain pizza place with its only other location in north Raleigh. Jets' claim to fame is the square deep dish pizza. I have to admit, it was pretty good; the crust is both chewy and on the outside, crunchy. The toppings are chopped fairly small, but not so small as to become mushy. It's good pizza; not a specialty-type place at all (it's a carry-out or delivery only place); but tasty plain-fare pizza. You can even get it by the slice for a quick lunch. I've not tried any of the round pizzas so I don't know if they taste the same. Jets, overall, is not a bad experience. The employees are friendly and patient even when customers like me change my mind after the order is already placed. I give them major points for that alone, since if it were me, I'd be annoyed nearly beyond all reason. What will likely make me keep Jets in the regular rotation when my affair with the pizza usurpers is over, is that crust and the ability to flavor it. During all my cheats with other pizza places, I've not yet found one that will make different flavors of crust until Jets. A garlic or sesame seed crust or even a Cajun crust - I think I'm in-like with one of my pizza swains. A chain pizza swain, no less. read more

Normally jets pizza is spot on,,, but not tonight. Ordered 4 slices of pepperoni. They then starting hacking up pieces from who knows where to get my slices. When they pulled the pieces out of the oven they mangled a corner. They ask if that is ok, they will as some extra pepperoni. But wait, before they can do anything, they throw out all the slices so now they have trashed a full pizza and have a very unsatisfied customer. read more

Our family has picked up Jet's Pizza and Salads a few time, and it was pretty good food. But what I saw today almost made me want to vomit! I had ordered a thin-crust pizza and anti-pasta salad for the front-desk ladies at my office. Now, I understand that finding/hiring good help in the fast-food and retail sector is next to impossible, but there has to be certain ground rules enforced! The dude that took my order, a white male, looked as though He had not bathed in several days; right up to the very greasy hair under His hat. His uniform shirt was absolutely filthy, and almost black with dirt/grease towards the bottom. I had gone outside for a few minutes, and then came back in to see "dude" sweeping the floor, grab a dust pan, and then sweep up the pile. Without washing His hands, He stepped over to the food prep area and put together a pan pizza, after which He wiped off His hands on the bottom of that filthy shirt He was wearing! The female customer standing next to me and I both said something to the girl who had just handed me my order. She just kind of laughed it off; neither one of us finding it at all funny.
