Pizza heaven for anyone who appreciates deep dish and lots of crust. I always get the turbo crust which has cheese, garlic and butter all mixed perfectly. I tried Jet's for the first time tonight. I liked the deep dish, 8-corner cheese pizza I ordered through their online system. It reminded me of old school Little Caesar's square pizza from the early 90s. The sides were caramelized and crispy. The bottom was crunchy and the dough was pillowy. I did order lite cheese because I like more sauce than cheese. The cheese wasn't the worst and wasn't the best; I found it a bit oily. Very impressed that upon pick up I was told it may be a few minutes. They explained the cheese had burned a bit so they had already started a new one for me. They offered for me to take the burned pizza as well, but it was a little too brown for me and I really didn't need two pizzas. I thought it was great customer service that they didn't try to pass off a ruined pizza as their best product. I will definitely order again! read more

YUM! We ordered delivery (delivery fee of $3) and got the large deep dish veggie pizza with the turbo crust and a greek salad. Both were fantastic! My boyfriend and I loved the pizza and got about 3.5 meals out of it. When having lelftovers, we just heated it up in the microwave and the crust was still crispy and the whole pizza was yummy! I've been trying to fill this void that I've had since I ate pizza in buffalo. Well, I'm glad to say I've found that place. The 8 corner pizza with bold pepperoni definitely is that. We also got some cinnamon sticks, and they were actually pretty good. I gotta say tho, the wings, we're not so good. They were extremely small and a few of the wings didn't have much, if any, sauce on them. All in all it was very good and we will definitely return for the pizza. Jets pizza...oh how I have loved you. WHAT HAPPENED? Is there new management? A whole new staff? Ugh. The pizza is delicious, I'll give you that. This is why I have continued to order it, but I'm done. I literally just created a Yelp account so I could do this review. I've called multiple times to let the manager now, my topping are NEVER correct anymore. I'm even super friendly when I call, as I just want to bring it to their attention so they can fix it. Long-time Chicago resident, 'deep dish' is mostly crust and a topping of cheese. It's not a what you'd expect but tastes OK. The place is pricey for pizza. If you require delivery, be ready for their "$3 Delivery Fee" which is a rip-off. Here is the real rub! Drivers say that the Jet's company keeps 1/2 that fee but still pays drivers less than min wage? Driver say they hope to make up to min wage with tips from delivery? You take a $1.50 delivery fee, still pay drivers below min wage, and then I tip the driver because he's not even getting min wage. I'm paying $6-7 extra to get a pizza to my door. read more

After repeatedly spelling the street name with no response, he asked me if I could spell it for him. All to find out, they no longer deliver to this address even though we've had delivery from this location not too long ago. Jet's serves Detroit-style pizza, as well as "regular" pizza. I've never had the "regular" pizza, but the Detroit stuff is authentic--think Buddy's or Shields, if you're from the Detroit area. What this means is, as several reviewers have said, is that the crust is thick, crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Toppings are also good, but the crust is what it's all about, and they get it right. I especially recommend the 8-corner pizza, which is baked in two small pans instead of 1 big one, so you get twice as many corner pieces. My guess is that all of the negative reviews are for the thin-crust, and all the positive reviews are for the deep dish. If they sold Vernors or Faygo as well, I'd move in next door. read more

I'm a Midwest transplant and have so been missing Detroit style pizza! I absolutely do not like wood fired or New York style pizza and unfortunately for me that is the most common type of pizza style I've found here in NC. We were so excited to try this place. The owner of the franchise happened to be there and he was incredibly friendly. THe cinnamon bread sticks were some of the best I've had! Thank you! The pizza was really good although I prefer it to have cornmeal on the bottom of the crust and the edges to be more cooked/Caramelized (ok kind of burnt). Our hometown place was more of a hand crafted pizza place and the prices reflected this but it tasted out of this world! This pizza was a good reminder of home for a lot less money. The two people at the front counter spent the time deep in conversation with each other and paid little attention to us. I had ordered a Pepsi to go with our order but forgot to tell my husband.
